The book was just okay but the meaningful part about reading it was that my 3 year old started to "read"/tell the story. And I don't remember reading it to him before, but either way, it was so neat to have him start to really engage while we read and pick up the words (whether by the sight of letters or just context/pictures I'm still not sure). But it just made my heart happy to have my son starting to read, even just to know the seeds are being planted and that he GETS the concept of words on pages/letters mean something! A happy day for a mom!
The big game; Jose was feeling some type of way :( he thought that he could not do anything right. He played soccer....he soon realized that there was something he can do. His teammates helped him believe in himself as they cheered him on to catch the flying ball that will help them win the game. Jose caught the ball and they won!
