Holy Fae, this book was amazing! I was so hesitant about it at first because I am tired of seeing Academy series everywhere and they have become so repetitive. However, this was such a fresh take with an even steamier romance that will make you wish you could cool off afterwards in this Winter Wonderland.

I am dying for the rest of this series and am having some serious withdrawals. This was one of those books that the closer that I got to the end, the more panicky I got because I did not want

A late entry for my favourite Academy of 2019!

The reviews are mixed and this is maybe a love it or loath it kind of book but I was firmly in the love it camp.

Maybe it was because it was the only ray of sunshine I had on my sickbed over Christmas. Or maybe the fever was making me delirious but I like to think it was because it was a great Fae Academy with a heroine I could really get behind.

Summer is a starving human who finds herself stealing from the Fae to feed her younger brothers and

I never thought I'd say that I read to much.... but I think I would have enjoyed this book more if I hadn't already read way too many similar stories.

So the backstory-in this book we have our h, Summer, a human teenager living in the Tainted Zone, separated by a wall of magic that runs parallel to the Evermore (fae) Winter Prince's lands. Years ago a magical force destroyed a huge part of the US killing a large portion of the humans living there- and eventually the fae took over that land

No matter how many books I read about cruel fae, magical academies, and palaces with balls, I can never get enough!

This book was everything I wanted it to be. It felt like a combination between Fallen and Daughter of Smoke and Bone. The plot was not crazy with twists and turns, and you basically saw the ending coming a mile away. But even so, I enjoyed every minute and couldn't put it down. I want to know what happens next now! I am thinking there will probably be at least 4 books in the

This book had everything to be great, till the 10th chapter was pretty good then the feelings got in the way and the h became bratty, stubborn, self-center and couldn't keep her mouth shut to save her life!!! In a world so cruel and evil to humans, she gets away with a lot .
She fought against being the prince shadow in pure spite and for what? She walks a fine line between being all bad ass and a total stiff! She coerces the prince in telling her something important and fails in the first

I love Audreys style, I loved her other books and I was expecting nothing less from this one. Well, I was a bit disappointed. The style was beautiful as per usual, the female characters were amazing. But. There is a But: I have to say I am not completely sure about this book and about how I felt right after finishing it. Was it good? Yes, it was. Was it original? Not that much. Do I recommend this book? Yes, it was a light read and in the end a good book.

I found many little details that

Omg seriously, Audrey Grey is quickly becoming one of my favourite fantasy authors. Her stories are all beautiful and unique in their own ways. The way she writes is so descriptive that you can easily imagine these fantastical worlds and characters she has created. I was lucky enough to grab an early copy of this book for review and it had me hooked right from the beautiful cover all the way until the very last page. If you love kick ass heroines, swoon worthy enemy to lovers storyline and ...more

Bad stuff out of the way first:

-Summer leads us to believe she lives this horrible life, struggling to survive and take care of other orphans. Few chapters in, we learn she lives in a perfectly functioning house with electricity, running water, gas, and INTERNET. Oh yeah, she and the other orphans are under the care of two ADULTS.

-She stole cheetos and suckers. No, that wasn't all she took, but I'm gonna be judgemental here and say maybe she should focus more on the things they NEEDED

100 stars!!

Audrey outdid herself with this one, and thats saying a lot considering how phenomenal her other stories are.

I loved every minute, every character, every kiss, every word.

(Ruby Ricin might be my favorite, though. That pixie is hilarious. Can people make gifs of her please?)

I was given this arc by the author in exchange for my honest review. This book was freakin fantastic. I read it all night and into dawn. I couldn't stop reading no matter how tired my eyes got. Never have I read any mortal/fae book like this. This is the best version of those type books I've ever read. I am so in love with this book. The characters are so real as well as the world building you feel as though you're right there at Evermore Academy with Summer and Mack. I can't wait to find out ...more

Despite her tragically obvious name and the fact that Evermore is yet another academy series, this one worked for me. Looking forward to the next installment.

Okay...I AM SO OBSESSED!!!!!! I am slowly absolutely falling in love with Audrey Greys work!!

This was soooo amazing! I loved absolutely everything about this book! I really loved the concept of the Fae having human body gaurds, if you will, that they rely on to protect them. I think that is such an interesting and unique concept. With that being said, I really liked the plot line of this story. There were times where certain things would happen that reminded me of other books, but I absolutely

Academy books... I'm super over them...

Holy cow. I was addicted from chapter 1. It was explosive and fresh, something new that I haven't see before. And the cast of characters are so much fun! I'm partial to Ruby Ricin, she's a spitfire pixie who doesn't take crap from anyone. I'm a huge fan of supporting characters and all of them in this book are my faves. Even the "resident mean girl"! She was a character I truly enjoyed hating.

I can't wait to see more of the Everwilde world

I loved it, and would recommend it to others

Audrey Grey has become one of my favorite Authors to read, i LOVED her Oath Taker and Curse Breaker and this this Fae Fantasy, Rhysand feeling, heart pounding broke me, in a good way.

Good book

I really like this, and cant wait to see what happens next. The story was very interesting and has lots of common story tropes and plots, mostly similar to a court of thorn and roses, cruel prince, vampire academy and lots more popular series.

Wow. I could not. stop. reading. I've seen a fair amount of academy books around, and added a bunch to my to-read list, too. Unfortunately, the first one I had a look at didn't really do anything for me but after this one I'm excited to read more!!
First thing that stuck out for me in this book was how it just jumped straight into it, and even afterwards the pacing of the book was spot on, for me. The same could be said for the world-building. There was a lot to learn about the world- rules,

You mother cracker. No more swear jar for me.

Its natural habitat... bwhahahahah!! Summer and Ruby have to be my favorite characters so far. Ruby because shes a nutcase. Summer because of her determination. If she looses some of the cocky and gains an analytical approach to her surroundings, a little less TSTL moments, she will be one fantastic Shadow person. I feel like Summer let the Fae off easy. None of the jerks are being punished. And I know that Evelyn is having Rhaegars baby. EYE know

This was a pretty good read. I loved the world the author created. It was original and interesting. The h was likable and tough and H was a complete asshole... just like I like em'.

The h is a human who is poor and lives with her adopted family in the Tainted Zone, an area that is on the line dividing the Fae and the rest of the old United States. The h crosses over the line (called the Shimmer) onto the Fae side to get away from a guard who caught her stealing food for her

I really liked this book.

It has all the ingredients that I love in a fae romance book, fated mates, enemies to lovers, magic, action, misunderstandings, hot male Heroes with a bit of darnkness and brave h that fight for what they want.

There're also great secondary characters like Mack or dragon boy and even Eclipsa. It's a bit like a Howarts for grown up humans in a Fae world.

I'm giving it 4 starts instead of five because the main heroine is a bit unbearable for me. She has a big mouth and

I was apprehensive going into this book just due to the volume of academy books circulating at the moment but it was absolutely wonderful.

The story follows Summer who lives in an almost dystopian world alongside the fae. After stealing magical apples shes whisked away to Evermore academy to serve alongside the fae for 4 years.

The writing was excellent throughout. I loved the way the author kept secrets it made me want to keep reading to find out more.

The romance reminded me of Holly Blacks

A Court of Thorns and Roses meets Vampire Academy. This read was explosive and I literally read it in one sitting. Audrey is phenomenal and I cannot wait to read the next novel in this series.

This read was literally the best thing I have read in weeks. This book left me with the BIGGEST book hangover ever. Literally I was left reeling.

This novel was a wild ride. Audrey did it again. She crafted a stunning world that you get completely lost in from the very first chapter. I loved each and ever

Fun Light Read

On the whole, despite the plots predictability, I enjoyed this tale of fae and humans trying to co-exist in a post-apocalyptic type world. I was hooked for the most part because of the world-building and the characters that unfolded. I very much liked the authors writing style which was uncomplicated but not simplistic.

However, I did have a few issues. Firstly, there were a few scenes which I felt were too inspired by Harry Potter.

Secondly, I couldnt comprehend how a 3,500 year

Wow!! I'm at a loss of words to describe this story, it was truly amazing. This author needs a tag, on that states she is a must read.

This story is brilliant. The characters are well developed and defined. I loved so many of them and could understand their emotions, thoughts and actions. The plot

Gods, what a story! This is one of those stories - when reading it I got so captivated by it that I didn't aknowledge the world around me, and when I wasn't reading it, it was all I was thinking about.

I received a free copy for an honest review. I loved this book so much. It seems like a sassier version of Harry Potter at times which just makes it all the more better. Summer makes one amazing protagonist and I love her loyalty to those she loves. I was on guard about the Winter Prince from the beginning for fear that it was going be like reading The Cruel Prince all over again. Summers connection and moments with him were both steamy and entertaining. I love, love, love Eclipsa and Mack. I ...more

I wish I could read this book again for the first time. I fell in love with this world. I'm not typically one to enjoy the trends and it's currently Academy everything - which is my least favorite of them so far but Audrey can write her butt off. This book is magical and addicting. It has everything I could want and I love me some Fae! And OMG the Sprite! HAHAHA such a lush! Probably one of my favorite characters. I can't wait for the next book to come out!
