Good for time pass, but a little boring for me as I knew most of the things within the book! Some facts are interesting and if seeing for the first time might intrigue you. Children of class 6 or more should be able to understand most of the content and could be a good start for inculcating there interests in mathematics.
Though any engineer would know about most things, mathematical concepts like 'happy, weird, compatible and even narcissistic numbers', chaos theory, fractals were put across in an interesting and easy to understand manner which might be interesting and even fun for some of us.
The book takes us through various facets of Mathematics in a non-mathematical manner, which range across such diverse themes as paradoxes, pyramids, philosophy, art and even music.
For those who have never been too keen on taking up mathematics, this might just be the kind of read to get you hooked, or atleast to allow you to appreciate the magic of mathematics.
