The Gibson Boys Collection is a feel good, small town series featuring blue collar alpha males and smart, capable heroines. Sweet and steamy, the Gibson Boys enjoys favorite tropes such as second-chance romance, blue collar vs silver spoon, opposites attract and more.
Fall madly in love with this relatable, unforgettable family by USA Today Bestselling author Adriana Locke. This set includes four full-length novels and one novella.
Adriana Locke is a USA Today and Amazon Charts Bestselling author with a knack for writing swoony, unforgettable contemporary romances. At nineteen, she traded her small-town roots for big-city life, only to realize her heart beats for quiet mornings and cozy chaos. These days, she’s living her happily-ever-after in Ohio with Mr. Locke—her high school sweetheart—four lively sons, and two hilariously hyper Jack Russell terriers.
When she’s not penning love stories that will leave you laughing and sighing, Adriana is battling the epic quest of missing silverware, “gardening” (a.k.a. chatting with her plants), or leaving her grocery list on the counter as she heads to the store. Grab a cup of coffee, settle in, and let her books whisk you away to a world of heartwarming romance and irresistible heroes.
I love the Gibson boys and having them all in one collection is AMAZING!! Adriana Locke knows how to write about some amazing men and women and these are some of the best! I fell in love with love while re-reading these stories!!
Adriana Locke crafted amazing stories of the Gibson boys that hooked me from the first words. Wen and Kai brought these multi-faceted characters to life with their gift of narration.
This collection has a lot to read. The stories are well written and the characters are well developed. I started this collection of books after reading the Landry Family series. Sienna Landry’s story was continued in the first book in this series.
There are some editing issues in these books but they don’t make reading difficult, just a little annoying. I would normally deduct half a star but I just couldn’t do it this time.
Crank is the first book in the Gibson Boys series. If you read Adriana’s Landry’s series then you have already met Miss Sienna Landry. I love that Adriana has crossed her over to a new series! She loves her family but she doesn’t fit the mold like her other siblings. She enjoys her freedom outside of politics, social events, and the family businesses. She is not a wild child but she wants something different for herself. And that is what brought her to Linton, Illinois a year ago. To run a designing business with her best friend Delaney. She didn’t know how much the move would change her life...
It all started with an accident that brought out the Gibson Boys. They were strangers to Sienna and Delaney but something was different when Sienna locked eyes with the owner of the truck she just hit. He was not the type of man that she would have dated back in Savannah. But even with his scowl and cranky-ass attitude he made her feel hot all over. Nervous even. Something she never was even in the rooms of politicians and celebrities. After everything is said and done the next morning she realizes she has to see him again in a few days. At his auto repair shop. She can’t stop thinking about him and after seeing him again she still can’t read this man. This sexy as sin man who smells like grease and heartbreak. She was going to just walk away but something was telling her that he was different. That if she walked away that she would regret it.
Walker knew he shouldn’t have listened to his dumbass cousin Peck. Now, he has to see Sienna more than he should. He was already thinking about her too much. He tired to push her away but for some reason she pushed back. He knew she was a woman who always got exactly what she wanted but he couldn’t let her get him. Yes. He wanted her laid out on his desk and all over his shop but he couldn’t go there. She wasn’t even sure if she was staying in Illinois. He knew if he had one taste of the woman who brought chaos to his brain, muffins to his shop, and smiles to customers then he wouldn’t want to let her go. Can Walker keep his distance from Sienna or will he give into what everyone around them sees? A woman who makes him happy.
I loved, loved, loved this story! I have been waiting patiently for Sienna’s story and the wait was so fucking worth it. I love the Landry’s so hard and knowing her throughout those books was fun but this...is perfect for her. The Gibsons reminded me of her brothers with their banter but they are edgier and less refined. No suits for these boys. But picturing Walker in his black shirts and work boots is sexy but add in the grease and callous hands...beyond hot! I felt like I was right there in Crank with Walker, Sienna, and Peck. Walking around teasing them and working under the hood of a truck.
The characters, all of them make up one amazing start to a new series. Walker and Sienna’s relationship is fun, sexy, frustrating, and beautiful. I loved that they are an unlikely match. A match that probably wouldn’t have happened if she didn’t take that swing. Walker’s brothers, cousins, and Nana are hilarious, sweet, and will do anything for each other. I am excited about their stories. I totally have crushes on them especially Peck.
P.S. While I am writing this review my husband is working on a car in the garage. Yes...he is a mechanic in his spare time. So I know all about the smell of grease and hot mechanic jumpsuits.
Quotes:
“Donaldson is in. Where’s his invoice?” “Fuck if I know,” I grumble. “Sienna filed all that shit.” “Where?” “All I know is the folders were all sparkly. There’s still glitter on the floor back there. I’d just follow the glitter trail, Peck.” “I’d like to follow that glitter trail,” he smirks.
“You like baseball and history?” Lance asks. “Fuck Walker. Wanna blow this joint and go home with me?”
“Close your eyes, Gibson. I’d hate for you to see what you’ve been missing.”
💞 CRAFT
Craft is the second book in the Gibson Boys series. There is actually a novella in the Team Player Anthology and that is Cross’s story. He is an honorary Gibson Boy! Ok. Back to the Gibson Boys that I have grown to love. Crank was Walker’s story and now it’s time for his brother, Lance to get the girl. If she will let him.
Lance has been a frustrating pain in the ass to Mariah for the last few years. Using her office as a phone booth. Stealing her cupcakes. Making her blush. Making her go home every night all hot and bothered. You can cut the sexual tension with a knife. He loves to tease her. She won’t admit it but she loves it. They both get off on it. Usually at night when they need to take the edge off. Yes, it would be simple to just get on with it and have sex but Mariah won’t go there. She isn’t a one night stand type of girl. She is the forever kind.
Mariah is Lance’s wet dream. She is a sexy librarian but doesn’t know it. She makes the most delicious cupcakes and knows she would taste just as sweet. He has wanted her since the day he saw her but she is smart. She knows he isn’t good for her. He isn’t an asshole but he couldn’t give her what she wanted. A husband with two point five kids, and a house with a wrap-around porch. He could only give her one night. Lance was ok with their flirty banter until he wasn’t. He wanted to know more about her. He was so fucked...
Lance and Mariah’s relationship is well...complicated. They know what they can give and what they can’t. They both feel the heat between them but can they go there? If she goes there, will he stop coming by for cupcakes? If he goes there, will she hate him afterwards? Is the risk worth the reward? If they do go there, will it be more? Can Lance change his stripes?
I absolutely loved, loved, loved this book! Lance is one swoon-worthy, filthy talking History teacher. Those glasses! Yum. Mariah is a beautiful woman who deserves to know that she is enough. She is stronger than she thinks. She is totally someone I would be friends with. Together, their banter is flirty, fun, and filthy. Their connection is beautiful and sexy. Their story is full of emotions, laughs, sexiness, and beauty.
Overall...it’s one swoon-worthy book that you do not want to miss! I was addicted from beginning to end. I loved the characters. The story. The romance. The fun. The heat. The banter. Everything. It was also fun to get to know the Gibson Boys even more! And Nana. She is a badass with heart.
Quotes:
“You deserve a great life. One filled with laughs and love and orgasms,” she winks.
“There are more than one of you?” she asks, her hand flying to her chest. “Your poor mother.” “Oh, no, sweetheart. There’s only one of me.” Her eyes roll around her head. “I’m sorry. I forgot who I was talking to.”
“How’d you get so wise?” He takes his hat off and wipes his brow with the sleeve of his shirt. “Baby, I was born this way.”
💞 CROSS
Cross is a Gibson Boys novella that takes place before Crank (book 1) by the very talented, Adriana Locke. I have read every single word she has written and have loved them all. Even when I wanted to smack someone for being an ass. Ok...back to Cross. If you read Crank then you might remember Cross as Machlan Gibson’s best friend.
Kallie is home. It’s been three years since she has stepped foot in her hometown on Linton. She has spent her last three years working in Indy and trying to forget about Cross Jacobs. Her first kiss. Her first love. Her first everything. Moving away didn’t work and it definitely won’t now since she was back. And especially after seeing him again. He is all grown up and looking better than ever.
He can’t believe his Kallie girl is back. He has changed since she left him. And now he wanted to prove it. He won’t let her go without a fight this time. He knows it won’t be easy. He also knows her and that it’s worth it.
Awe! I loved it. It’s a fast read but it packs in a lot of heart, sexiness, and sweetness.
Quotes:
“The bell rang on this fight a long time ago, Cross.” “Maybe the scorekeeper was wrong.”
“All I want is a hole in one.” Spinning around, I catch the grin on his lips. “That’s a terrible line.” “Can’t win ’em all.” He laughs.
“First of all, whatever that jackass has told you, ignore it—all of it,” Peck says. Walker shrugs. “He asked.”
And, I have to add this one in since it’s something my mom would say.
“He’s all right,” I say, shaking my head. “All right? Sometimes I’m not sure you’re my child.” She chuckles. “If I were your age, I’d have snapped up one of those men in a heartbeat.”
💞 CRAVE
Crave is the third full-length novel in one of my favorite series’, The Gibson Boys By Adriana Locke. You can read it as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the previous books. It will make you love this book even more! The Gibson Boys and the women they love are something else. And the ones who haven’t found love yet are just as fun, sexy, and strong. I can’t wait for their stories! Ok...back to Crave!
Machlan and Hadley have been off and on for years. Eighteen months ago, Hadley left Linton and Machlan behind. It was something she had to do. To move forward without him. Now, she was back. Only to finally get over him. Every time she had come back to visit, she hoped he would fight for her but this time she was determined to get over him. To look at him like she looked at Peck. As a friend and nothing more. Only, when she sees him, she wants nothing more than for him to love her like she loves him. She is so fucked. But she won’t let him know that.
Hadley drives Machlan insane. She walks into a room and he only sees her. She makes him think of things he wants to forget. His failures. His losses. His feelings toward the only woman he has ever loved. And most likely will ever love. It’s why he let her go. He doesn’t feel worthy of her love. She deserves more than him. He doesn’t know why she doesn’t see that. Why she loves him. He will never be over her but he has to let her go. Again. But can he this time?
Awe! I loved this story. Second chance romance is one of my faves and this one totally kicks ass. Machlan and Hadley’s banter is full of sass, stubbornness, flirt, and emotions. They have obstacles to conquer. A past to come to terms with. A never-ending intense passion to work with. I liked Machlan in the previous books. He is a great guy and a supportive brother, cousin, grandson and friend but I fell for him hard in this book. The way he looks at Hadley is intense and swoon-worthy. And the way she looks at him is just as intense. She doesn't know if she wants to slap him or fuck him.
Overall...it's a story that made me laugh, cry, get hot and bothered, and cry again! It is definitely the most emotional book in the series so far. For me anyway.
P.S I can't wait for Peck's story!! That man is fucking hilarious.
Quotes:
The day may look worse, but she’s never looked better.
I’ve tasted his lips, felt his skin, loved his heart on those sheets, and my own heart tugs a little as I think about it.
“Fine. Do you want to be my friend, Machlan?” “Is this a George Strait thing? Is there a box to check yes or no?”
💞 CRAZY Crazy is the fourth book in the Gibson Boys series by one of my favorite authors, Adriana Locke. Each book can be read as standalone but I highly recommend reading them all since they are amazing! I can’t really say much in this review. I don’t want to spoil anything especially to those who have been waiting for Peck’s story like me.
I started falling for Peck Ward, the goofy cousin to the Gibson boys when I first met him back in Crank. With each book I had fallen even more and now I am completely utterly in love with a swoony mechanic. One who loves his Nana. One who loves to find his next meal at a family member’s house. And would do anything for the ones he loves. And would lend a hand to any stranger who needs it. I knew he had more hiding under his goofy charm and antics.
Like I said, there isn’t much I can say about the story, if anything. I can say that you will love it! It’s full of family, love, laughter, banter, and an happily ever after.
P.S. I really hope this isn’t the end of the Gibson Boys series! There is certain someones I want to get a story.
Quotes:
“I think every firecracker needs someone to light their fuse for them to really glow.”
“The kiwifruit will tenderize the steaks. It’s so much better than the alternatives of tough meat or overly salty meat.” She snorts. “True. I don’t like my meat salty.” I laugh out loud. “Good to know. Good to know.”
“We get it. We may act all tough on the outside, but we’re really pussies when it comes to our women.” “Fuck you. I’m not,” Machlan says. Lance rolls his eyes.
Five books in one? Yes, please! Each story is full of fun, love and passion. Walker, Lance, Cross, Machlan and Peck are some amazing heroes and bring it all in this collection! A must for any Adriana Locke fan!
Audio book based review This is a DNF for me which for me is rare considering some of the books I've put myself through. I couldn't even finish the first book. I don't know if it's to do with the narrator's, the storyline or the writing. I just could not finish it. I eye rolled so much at the part I did listen to that I may have scratched a cornea.
Crank - The chemistry is immediately felt when Sienna is caught accidentally hitting Walker’s truck with a baseball bat, taking these two characters on a heart warming journey. But will the huge secret that Walker has from his past end the romance before it begins? Or will Sienna walk away from the man she had fell in love with because she cannot get past his lies? With beautiful characters and a storyline that keeps the reader locked in from the opening pages this is a book that should not be missed. The beginning of a new series will not disappoint.
Craft - With heartbreak in his past Lance has given up on love. After her ex boyfriend marries her sister, Mariah has closed herself off from finding love. Flirting at work leads to more than both of them bargained for when sparks collide and passion ignites. But can the secrets from his past end the relationship before it can begin or will they both figure out that love is worth fighting for? Once again Adriana Locke writes about true and honest characters that the reader cannot help but fall in love with. This book is a must read and I cannot wait for more in this series.
Crave – I can honestly say 5 starts are not enough for this book. I thought I loved the series before but with this book it take the series to a new level. Adriana Locke has a way to make the reader feel everything that the characters feel. Throughout this book, Hadley and Machlan went through hell and back and with every step I was right there with them laughing out loud, crying heart wrenching tears and sighing with utter joy. This was one of those books that you never wanted it to end and could very well walk side by side with these characters for many years to come. A beautiful story with an override of emotions that you cannot do without!!
Crazy - Let's face it - we have all loved Peck since the moment he came into the first story. The laughable, sweet and lovable character so deserved a HEA, however, he has always been stuck on Molly, the one he grew up with and the one he always protected. But sometimes love finds you even when you were not looking for it and it causes Peck to rethink all of the relationships he has had in his past. Can he really find love? Or is he destined to remain alone? I loved this book from the opening pages and found myself re-reading each chapter twice in order to savor Peck's story. Adriana Locke has once again knocked it out of the park and it literally deserves 500 stars!! Love, Love, Loved it!!
Cross - A beautiful second chance romance. Kallie and Cross had fallen in love but the romance fell apart because of insecurities and immaturity, so Kallie moved away. When she comes back a few years later the connection between the two is still as strong as it was before, but can they reconnect and forget about the past? Or will the same insecurities rear their ugly head ending the relationship once and for all? With wonderful characters and a heartwarming storyline this novella should not be missed.
This is a wonderful series and easily worth the credit! I grew to love these Gibson boys! This encompasses all kinds of tropes. But what I love the best is the camaraderie and fun between these characters. I did listen to this on audio. Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are the narrators for all of these delightful stories. They did a wonderful job. Below is the breakdown for each book.
Crank Very enjoyable! I loved how they all called her Slugger :). Totally warranted but still cute! I love all these brothers! Their camaraderie and brotherly stuff is simply great to listen to. Walker had a few shocking revelations and I really don’t know what he would do without Peck. I LOVED Walker’s gesture at the end! Sienna comes from the Landry brothers series (which I haven’t read/listened to yet). I loved all her interactions with them. They sound like great big brothers! She is a delight and I loved her. Nana and Peck were my favorite secondary characters.
Craft Holy Smokes I didn’t see this coming! That first kiss in the pantry so HOT! I loved these two! This issues the whole school teacher/librarian fantasy. The problems that Lance and Mariah has were each huge. Tough to overcome one more than the other. The whole idea of the dating app was cute as well. I really thought that nerdy nurse was a different person. So well played! This is an enjoyable read and I am loving these Gibson Boys and their ladies. Next please!
Cross This is my least favorite of all of the stories. Cross is a friend but really holds no interest before this and he basically disappears after. But it’s cute.
Crave There is so much that goes on in here. History is what Hadley and Machlan are filled with And they need to cope. This could almost by my fav of the series. These two are steeped in the past and can’t seem to release to enjoy the future. It’s a struggle and to listen to their pain. On the plus side Sunday Dinners with Nana are the BEST! I just want to go and be there to hang. Then the brothers when they “help” each other with relationship advice. This is a good one!
Crazy I love Peck and am so happy he get his own story. He has always been so helpful to his cousins and finding their women. That when it’s his turn to struggle. They offer him some sweet advice. Dillon is the perfect girl for Peck. They each have that happy, adventurous spirit that radiates from them. The BIG gesture at the end is soooo Peck and Dillon! I love this series and am sorry to see it end.
This is a group of feel good stories about three brothers, a sister and two cousins. You will want even more about them at the end of their stories. I highly recommend them to you. You will laugh and at one point maybe even cry but you will go away just glad you read them
CRANK
This is the story of Walker and Sienna and I loved it. Sienna is a young woman that wants to create something that is just her's and not part of her wealthy families. She has moved away from the mansion sje grew up in and away from her twin in search of her own company. One night she accidentally damages a truck at a bar. The owner is a dark, brooding man that just tells her to forget it but she can't. She has the money to pay for the damages she caused and wants to pay for it.
Walker is a man broken but still functioning as a body and repair shop owner. He hasn't been living for a long while just going through the motions until this bright personality-ed woman decides if he won't take money she will work in his shop until the debt is paid.
CRAFT
This is the story of a man-whore, Lance and a Librarian, Mariah. I loved this story too. Lance is a history teacher with a big heart but everyone knows he doesn't believe in dating the same woman more than just a few hook-ups.
Mariah is a woman who has worked with Lance a few years and she has fantasized about him since they met. She joins a dating app trying to find someone that can take his place but what she doesn't know is that she is talking to Lance on the app. He has a dark secret that has kept him the way he is but he hopes someone can help him.
There's a short story about the boys sister Blaire who meets a man at the airport and he is doing business with Sienna's family. Holt is very well to do and wants Blaire at first site.
CRAVE
This is the story of Hadley and Machlan, it's a little dark but well worth reading even though you may cry a little, It's the story of young love and survival, You fall in love with Hadley right off and don;y quite understand Machlan until the story unfolds and then you feel fir both of them. I highly recommend this story.
CRAZY
This is the story of Peck, the lovable character from the above books that you wish the very best for and Dylan, a woman that has him confused with someone else in the beginning of the story. I loved this story about a young woman that needs to grow-up and the man that will do anything to jeep her,
Peck is always helping others. His advice and helping personality has helped couples in thus book. He is the glue in the family that keeps them together. He has helped a woman that the townsfolk great;y dislike. He knows her secrets and has always kept them while helping her until she comes between him and Dylan.
Dylan has never been first in any relationship. Even her mother puts her down. The only thing she has ever wanted is to matter to someone and be their first choice and not some type of second class citizen. So when Molly gets between her and Peck, Dylan's first reaction is to back off no matter what Nana told her.
Crank This is the book where we meet the famous Sienna Laundry. And I love her free spirit the most. I love her desire to not conform to her family. Oh and Walker. Oh Walker. He is the sweetest and most guarded. And rightly so. Their attraction is instant. And the best part is the surprises that happen in the book. And Nana is the best. This book was so good. And the narration of the audio book was so well done. I’m already starting the second book in this series.
Craft I love a good brother series. And this one doesn’t disappoint. I was so glad Lance was the next book in this series. Playful playboys are so fun. Oh and the heroine is a curvy girl. Yes please. Lance and Mariah work together and I love their watching their relationship grow. And the twists too. For sure wish there would have been more about the other brothers and Nana, but I’m always a sucker for secondary characters.
Cross Gosh I was so hoping we would get a story about Cross. While this little short story is oh so sweet, I always want more from novellas. I am a sucker for a second chance romance and this one is just precious. Low angst and some really sweet moments. Such a great add to this series!
Crave Mac and Hadley were oh so cute. This was another second chance romance in this series. I loved all the things about Mac. Broody bar owner. This book tackled some serious subjects. Adriana did a great job at expressing emotions from both the hero and heroine in the series situations. And the serious stuff is what brings them back together.
Crazy Oh Peck. I was so excited for his story. He is the opposite of shy and introverted. And I loved it all. I will say that it was interesting who he ends up with. No spoilers here. And his relationship with Nana is a 10 in my book. The scenes with Nana are my fav. The heroine in this book is just a little lost but has her stuff together. And I love that about her.
All and all, this series was so good. I would ideally star this series as a 4.5.
Crank I loved this book!! I must have been hiding under a rock and missed how this was going to be Sienna’s book. Oh my goodness, I love the Gibson boys! I felt all the emotion on these pages. I laughed at Peck, and cried over Siennas integration into this family. I loved her heart, and how she cared for the people in that community. It was a great read!
Craft I loved this story of the teacher and librarian. I thought they chemistry that leapt off the page. These boys taking care of their grandmother gets me every time. I loved this story. I can’t wait for more.
Cross I loved this second chance romance. Callie comes back to town, and Cross is determined to have her. They do have obstacles because she’s not sure she can trust him, but he proves it to her. I love these Gibson boys!
Crave These books! They are so good. I love a good family series where we get an update on the others too. We even had a Landry sighting also! This book broke my heart. The history they have, and the insight into both their personalities. I loved that Nana got through to Mach. Mach going after Hadley, and not leaving til he made her see. ❤️
Crazy I loved Peck! His history made him this understanding person with a look on life that was so unexpected at times. I loved Nana. She steals the scene when she’s mentioned. I loved that Dylan found her place, and because of Peck and his Nana she started looking at her family differently. This book was sweet and hot! Truly lived up to my expectations! 💙
I love these bundles and am so happy to have had the credit to buy this but also to have the opportunity to listen to these stories. Set in a small town, these stories are full of heart, laughter and fun. I loved all the characters; the book features a group of brothers/cousins and their romantic escapades and all of the guys are fun, a little damaged but overall, really sweet, good people. The women tend towards strong and sweet and I loved the banter and the interaction between the couples and each other.
There are 4 books and 1 novella in this series. It was so well worth the credit for the books themselves but also because of the narration, which is flawless. Duet style featuring Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross, they play their characters well and both have such beautiful voices to listen to, infused with emotion as called for. Wen Ross has such a smooth voice. I love when they laugh or when they cry because they do that- you hear the wobble in Kai Kennicott's voice when the reading calls for it and it's really just amazingly well done.
This was the first and highly recommended Adriana Locke series by my bestie! I was over the moon to get the Gibson Boys all in one bundle. I love these guys, and their leading ladies and Nana, of course. I can’t pick a favourite but then again Peck instantly grabbed my heart from the very start, so getting his story last was worth waiting until the end. These are easy listens that tugged on my heartstrings and made me laugh (and occasionally roll my eyes- with a huge smile on my face!). These boys are rowdy but all heart and they each found their perfect match. A well spent credit and countless listening hours that I will happily listen to again- and recommend to any romance reader. NEW FAVOURITE SMALL TOWN ROMANCE unlocked!!!
It must be noted that the narration was beautifully done and I love both Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross as individual narrators, but together- in a duet formatting- they are fire!!
RATING: 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ FORMAT:Audiobook via Audible
Tags: Small town, family, Brothers (and a cousin, a loveable Nana. Sweet, charming and independent heroines.
I love listening to this series. It's told by two of my favorite narrators.
Crank
Sienna and Walker.
I enjoyed their story. Walker is the grumpy Gibson sibling and runs into Sienna when she accidentally smashes his car. Love the interactions between them and the bantering and teasing with the brothers. Also throw in an adorable Nana.
Craft
Mariah and Lance
Lance is the history teacher and Mariah is the librarian he likes to aggravate. Another great story.
Cross
Cross and Kallie
A short novella. A second chance romance Cross is the MMA fighter who is the boys friends. Loved it.
Crave
Hadley and Machlan
Machlan is the bar owner and Hadley is Cross's sister and they have an on and off again relationship. Another great story
Crazy
Peck and Dylan
Peck is the fun loving cousin. Dylan is Navie's best friend and moved to the town. What started as mistaken identity that turned into something else. Loved it from the bantering amongst the boys to the loveable Nana.
Can't go wrong with this bundle. Always find Adriana's books funny and a bit emotional.
The Gibson boys collection is so easy to read, because the characters are amazing. The stories are romantic, but funny and the grandma Nana is something else. It´s impossible not fall in love with them. The book is so well-written that I could imagine Crave bar and the meal on Sundays afternoon when all of them are gathered and bickering each other. The way how they struggle to win the fear of love and how easy they love uncondittionally. The book is a must read. By the end of the book, it was impossible for me to choose a favorite character. Loved all of them.I would love extra chapters, although I have already started reading Mason Family series. Adriana Locke never dissapointed me
I enjoyed each story but I believe I loved Walker's and Lance's stories more. Maybe because I read them first. I simply adored Peck and I appreciated Cross' acceptance of who he was and his honesty. Mach was the hardest to get into. I have read quite a few of this author's books and she has not disappointed me yet. These men were so broken even though they came from a good home and had a great Nana. It goes to show you just how much the world outside of our homes influences and/or socialize us.
So the Gibson boy collection had strong beautiful men, all a little messed up and beautiful girls. Lots of fighting love, lots of ending things and getting back together. Had romantic scenes, but no long descriptions and not a ton of hotness either. Pecks story had the most and it wasn’t a lot. Machlan story was a bit too much of fighting the relationship for my liking. Happily ever afters were basic- no weddings, no kids, the other books talked about stuff but nothing ever happened. It was a good series and you do love the characters
Audiobook Review I absolutely adore Nana and all the Gibson boys, even the honorary ones! This collections packs the most bang for your buck! Almost 40 hours of listening for only credit! I think Peck was my ultimate favorite! He was the most secretive and gave the best advice! It was a joy listening to him fall in love!
Kai and Wen were amazing, as always! They did a super fabulous job bringing all the characters to life, including the secondary ones!
An entire series all with one credit! This book has everything you could ask for and then some. There are a few sensitive subjects involved that make the book even more realistic and suck you right in with them. I loved everything about this book from the writing to the narration. If you are looking for a small town romance with some steam involved, then look no further. This one is perfect for you!
I truly loved this book. Peck is the perfect book boyfriend. I loved his antics in the earlier books. Even then you could tell he had a heart of gold. Dylan was the best counterpart for him. Their story was romantic and emotional. It brought tears to my eyes several times. I hope the author will write books about Navie, about Vincent and about Molly. And keep Nana! She's wonderful. I highly recommend this book!
🎧AUDIOBOOK REVIEW 🎧 Wow! What a ride! I enjoyed this series. All 4 men are sexy in their own unique way. I absolutely loved Nana. She was my favorite part. I had some issues with some of the men being TOO alpha. Their tempers were a bit short and had me sighing or wanting to roll my eyes at their reactions. I mean that's not necessarily a bad thing but too much for me. Peck was my favorite. 😂
Adriana Locke is my all time favorite. This collection is perfection. Her characters, her families, her ability to make you feel like a part of it all is unmatched. I have read each of the Gibson Boys’ books time and time again, and I will continue to reread and share them. Forever in love with Walker, Lance, Mach, and Peck, and you will be, too!
Thank you Adriana for creating such amazing alphas that are so protective of their loved ones and the strong head-strong women that are perfect for them! Nana had my heart from the first book, I just want to hug her and sit and listen to her advice and stories.
This is an amazing boxed set. Each story is about one couple, but this Series has characters intertwined, which is great! I love the Gibson Boys, and the family spirit in this Series is fantastic. Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott did a wonderful job with the narration, as always! They are the perfect narrators for this Series. I HIGHLY recommend it.
Well written . All about the Gibson men and their romancing. Well done, each is a kind of stand alone with the other's stories happening at the the same time, in the background, never over shadowing the main protagonists. Sometimes a bit of ranker and tedium but a good read none the less. Loved the girls and Nana, church and sex 😉😉
I have read this entire series before but started the Landry series and decided to buy all of these audiobooks and do a reread. I enjoyed them more the second time around. The audiobooks are fabulous, the narration perfect!! I'm definitely going to miss this family.
Oh! My! Goodness! No one writes romance like Adriana Locke writes romance and boy oh boy did she blow everyone else out of the water with this series! The Gibson boys are crew you will never forget! These are the book boyfriends to end all book boyfriends... They're the forever kind. Narration was stellar, an amazing listen. See y'all on another page!
Audiobook Review- This is a hilariously witty, charming and heartfelt journey to go on with the these amazing characters. Each story was equally entertaining. I absolutely enjoyed each story; especially Peck's story. Great series. Narration for this series is great. Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross did a fantastic job bringing these stories to life.
I absolutely loved every story! Even if I cringe through reading “and I” as an object pronoun and “that” instead of who.. I so love how she puts families together and shakes them up at the same time. Maybe a better proofreader is in order, but the heart of the stories are incredible!
