I’ve never had a place to call home. Growing up in foster care, I learned not to get attached. The day Easton Chadwick walks into my life, my sense of self-preservation falls by the wayside. When I’m in his arms, it’s easy to believe in the fairy tale. Then, tragedy strikes, serving as a soul-crushing reminder that nothing lasts forever. Suffocated by fear, I pack my bags, leaving Easton and the town of Maplewood Falls behind. Several months later, I come face-to-face with the man who still owns nearly every part of me, but one night fueled by alcohol and bad decisions doesn’t change anything. At least, that’s what I tell myself … Until those two pink lines appear. For the first time in my life, I’m willing to lay my heart on the line for a family and a place to call home. Because home is where love lives.

Y’all prepare your hearts! ♥️ K. Street is about to put it through the tumble dryer with this one. Easton and Molly’s story is heartbreakingly real and poignantly perfect. It will give you goosebumps, bring you tears of joy, heartache and fear and happiness and hope!
Molly is beautifully broken. Shattered by a tragic past that she has been unable to over come up until now. She had it all with Easton, but in a pre-emptive move of self-preservation she runs, leaving him devastated, broken-hearted and bitter. She runs into him a few months later on a drunken night out with her BFF, Paige. That leads to a one-night stand hookup. When she returns to her room the next morning, little does she know he’s left her with a parting gift. One that will share both his and her DNA. Whoops!😬
Easton is a really great guy. He’s the world’s best big brother and uncle. Plus he’s devastatingly gorgeous! But Molly obliterated his heart, not once but twice. After the hotel hookup, she keeps showing up and he doesn’t understand why? 🤔He just slams the door in her face moving on.I mean he is straight up nasty to her when she shows up, when she calls, for months. He is purposefully punishing her for what she did to him. When he finds out the truth about why she has been trying to contact him all those months, he’s devastated by his own behavior. That’s because of the kind of guy he is. Not gonna say more about this cause spoilers suck, y’all!
The background of Molly’s upbringing is devastating. It makes sense why she would guard herself and make some of the choices she did. I won’t tell you what those were. I will just say I can see why she would have.Their journey to redemption and forgiveness (on both sides) wasn't always easy but it was everything!! This book has a fabulous cast of characters. Some you met in Where Love Ends. I love Molly’s BFF, Paige. I want her story. This book has the perfect amount of sweetness and frustration and hotness. It’s funny where it needed to be and it had awesome flow and I read it really quickly. I didn’t want to stop because I was so invested in Easton and Molly. This is definitely a fantastic read. But I would recommend reading Where Love Ends first. That’s where you will meet Easton first.
⭐️⭐️⭐⭐⭐️- I was an Easton fan in WLE, but I really love him now.He was patient and sweet and loving. GAH! Molly needed him even when she tried to fight it. Grab this book! 🔥🔥🔥🔥- Holy Doodle are Easton and Molly ever Hot 🥵 🌪Cliffhanger Warning- HEA NO CLIFFY! 😍
Whether it was minutes, hours, days or months he did NOT wait to bury himself in OWs. He was an asshole. Yes, she did pushed him away, broke up with him without any explanation, left town without saying good bye so I guess he didn’t owed her any loyalty but, come on if she was celibate why can’t he be too? Why is always the woman who has to remain celibate while hero sleeps his way through?
I wasn’t self-destructive enough to drown myself in a bottle. Instead, I used other women as a distraction. Because I wasn’t a total asshole, I was always up-front about what I wanted. They got dinner and a show with a special appearance, starring my dick. Nothing more. And I got to be numb for a few hours while I strived in vain to fill up all the empty space Molly had left in my life.
It wasn’t something I could shut off, no matter how hard I had tried or how many women I had buried myself in since then or how big of an asshole I was or how many times I had slammed the door in her face. If she needed me, I’d be there.
“If you’re asking if I’m in a relationship, the answer is no, but we both know that isn’t what you’re really asking.” A coldness settled into his blue eyes. “You ruined me. Twice. So, yeah, I’ve fucked other women.” I visibly winced at his crude comment. “And you don’t get to be pissed about it. I’m not going to sit here and lie to you to spare your feelings.” He’s right. I do not get to be pissed. This is my fault. Not his.
“Are you seeing anyone?” I gaped at him as though he had said the most ludicrous thing I’d ever heard. Because it was. “In case you didn’t notice”—I bent my wrist and waved my index finger up and down over my midsection—“this doesn’t exactly scream I’m available.” Then again, some men do have strange kinks. “Let me rephrase. Have you fucked anyone?” “No.” The look on his face told me I had surprised him. “There hasn’t been anyone since you. I didn’t leave because I wanted someone else.”
She has severe abandonment issues so she leaves the man she loves and who loves her back TWICE.
When she comes back to tell him she is PREGNANT, he is so pissed that he doesn't even want to listen to what she will say. He just slams the door on her face. He learns it later from a friend when she is hospitalized.
This book sounds like a mess and it is very frustrating for me on so many levels. So not my cuppa.
P.S. As for celibacy issues during the separation, she doesn't sleep with anyone else but he sleeps with many women.
Oh how I do love K Street♥️ When I read her books I get all the feels! This book was no different! I was sick and heartbroken for the 10year old Molly in the prologue. I was all hot in the nether region when Molly and Easton reconnected in Atlanta and then I felt every emotion under the sun for the rest of the book!
Molly had the most horrible childhood growing up in the foster care system it’s a thousand wonders she turned out the way she did. She picked herself up, went to college and got an engineering degree and went to work for Easton’s company. I think he fell in love with her on sight! He is one of the swooniest heroes I’ve read😍😍gaaah...he is just a fierce lover! When he loves he loves with all his might and he is so loyal. Even though Molly ran from him the love he had for her ran so deep that there was no way he was gonna give up! He gave her the space she wanted and needed but she always knew he was there. Molly has such growth in this story. I loved seeing that and I was so proud of her and the things she decided to do to get well and deal with her past.
K writes with such effortless beauty and you can’t help but get sucked in. Her characters face real problems and in turn that makes the book so relatable. As I’m in her fb group I also find so much of her humor and personality in her characters. They are so much fun and you fall in love with them all. I am also praying to the author gods that Paige gets a book because she is a scream and I never tire of reading Knox because she writes kids so well!!! Another stellar book!!!

Wed met the lovelorn and forlorn Easton Chadwick in Where Forever Ends and I was curious about their back story. Well..Here it is! Molly suffers from severe abandonment issues. Being a self confessed Emotionally stunted person, Her tendency to quit and run when you're ahead, has cost her the love of her life..TWICE! She's repeatedly hurt Easton and I found her unfair at that point
“Girl, you didn’t break his heart. This isn’t high school. You ripped his heart out of his damn chest with your bare hands and stomped on it. Then, you kicked it into traffic. ....During rush hour.” OK.ok. You get the message.. But now a surprise pregnancy slaps her in the face and she wants to tuck her tail between her legs for the sake of the incoming child.
I went through so many tissues reading this. K. Street you have gone beyond all expectations and absolutely blown me away with the beauty that is Where Love Lives! This story is a true emotional journey. There’s heartbreak and healing. There’s passion and fire. There’s emotional blows that will know you off your feet. But bigger than all of that there is so much love in the pages of Molly and Easton’s story you’ll be left breathless. I was already in love with K. Street’s writing, but this book has made her an autobuy author for me. I was so connected to these characters, so invested in their story I honestly could not put it down. Molly’s heartbreaking past coupled with her true to life struggles to overcome it made her so real and I just wanted to reach into this book and hug her. And Easton, even when I wanted to be mad at him I couldn’t. You could feel how much he loved Molly even through the worst of things and that love outshone everything. These two are more than a simple second chance, they’re soulmates with the kind of love no time, distance or fight could ever sever. Grab the tissues, get comfy and prepare to fall in love!
Molly grew up in the foster care system and has never felt like she belongs, anywhere. When she gets a job working in Maplewood Falls for Easton Chadwick she finally lets her walls down a bit. When she begins dating Easton they come down a little bit more. Easton can see a future with Molly and that scares her. She knows that being a wife and mother are not on the cards for someone like her.
Easton really thought he had found the girl of his dreams when he met Molly but he was blind sided when she packed up and left town. Despite his many attempts, she refused to talk to him or see him, leaving him with a hardened heart and bitter taste in his mouth. The next time he crosses paths with Molly, they give into the pull that is still between them for one night. Once again Molly walks away and Easton vows never to put himself in that vulnerable position with her again.
Several months later Molly comes knocking on his door. Not just once but several times. Each time he dismisses her attempts. There is no way he is going to even entertain communicating with her, it’s not worth the damage it will do to his heart and mind. However, when he gets a call out of the blue from her room mate, everything changes. Molly needs him and nothing could have prepared him for what he discovers when he sees her.
Molly is surprised to find Easton by her side and knowing that he is prepared to be there for her is more than she could have ever hoped. She still isn’t ready to tell him why she first left him but each day she spends with him and his family, the carefully constructed walls begin to crumble. Easton is determined that this time with Molly will be for keeps. Now that he finally has her back he will stop at nothing to show her that being with him is where love lies and the love between them is well and truly awake.
This is the second story in the Maplewood Falls series but could read as a stand alone, however I would recommend reading the first book prior to this as it does refer to the characters from that story. It was great to get Easton’s story after it was alluded to in the first story. He truly is a great guy and deserves happiness.
Where Love Lives (Maplewood Falls #2) is the second in the series of standalone inter-connected books by K. Street. Although described as a book you can read without reading book 1, I would highly recommend to read book 1 to get the full picture.
This book is Easton and Molly's story. What a story it was!
Easton is the perfect gentleman yet his heart is still fractured and at this point in his life, he just wants to get this plan approved and the building under construction! Dang customers who make changes! LOL
Molly is tired of running.
Will Easton finally be enough for her? 2 times now Molly has broken his heart. They do say the 3rd time is a charm.
Love reading this authors books. They are like the best palate cleansing you can imagine. The writing is always spot on and the stories flow perfectly. Cant wait to see what is coming next!!!
K Street never disappoints me!!! My review will not do this book justice, but I will try. This book is beautiful. It has all the feels. What I loved about The main charterers was how they were always protecting their hearts. Learning how to trust each and being able to let go of the past. The thing I learned from this book is that a parents love is something that is given to a child openly. There should never be a doubt in a child's mind about their parents love
Each time I read a K. Street book, I fall in love with reading all over again. Her stories are the ones that draw you in and reignite the desire for that euphoria you get when you know that you have read something that will remain with you.
Where Love Lives is a second chance romance for Easton and Molly. The story is heartbreaking tale of a childhood that leaves Molly with devastating effects to how she lives her life and the relationships she choose to have. Easton was broken by Molly’s choices.
When life throws them a curve and they are thrown together, each remembers what they had. Memories are a strong influence in their growing relationship and the truth brings them full circle to their HEA.
A wonderful second book in the Maplewood Falls series, K. Street continues to give us books with excellent writing, brilliant characters and well-crafted story lines. Highly recommend for those that want a story that will give them heartwarming feels. 5 Stars #2OCCMS
Gemma’s Review
K.Street is a new author for me and I was really impressed with their writing style. The way they were able to write a lot of emotions that I felt alongside the characters. I found that the story being a dual point of view really gave an insight into the characters heads and where they were emotionally in the book.
Molly was a strong character that had a hard childhood and really kept people at arm's length. I enjoyed seeing the growth that the character went through in the story.
Easton, I really adored with the way that he was with his family and nephew. It was obvious how much he loved Molly and was deeply hurt by some of the things that she did by leaving. But I loved how he was still there for her despite her leaving him.
This story was a second chance read that had a mixture of emotions throughout the story. This is a must-read for any fan of second chance romance reads
I fell in love with Maplewood Falls while reading Where Forever Ends (Jase and Saylor's story), and was so excited to get back there! Easton and Molly were a couple that I needed to have find their happily ever after.
Easton and Molly had very different upbringings. While Easton had the picture perfect childhood, Molly bounced around in foster care, never having anyone who wanted her. That brought about all kinds of insecurities, and she found it easier to be the one who left, rather than left behind. So despite their relationship, Molly ran. Until she discovered that she was pregnant. She knew she had to be better than her mother, and had to decide what to do with Easton.
I absolutely loved this story!Character development is extremely important to me, and I loved the emotions that the characters went through, and the growth that Molly experienced throughout the story, and the vulnerability that they both had to overcome. Easton and Molly may not have been perfect, but they were better together, and strengthened each other.
I love this group of characters and this small-town. I really hope that there is more to come in Maplewood Falls (hopefully Paige gets her happily ever after??)!
K Street really knows how to write a heart wrenching love story, and Molly and Easton's story is no different.
I'll be honest and say I wasn't exactly thrilled that Molly was going to be the heroine in this book, especially with the way she broke Easton's heart when she up and left him without a word, but as soon as I started reading the prologue, I was immediately captivated and my heart just broke for Molly. To go through what she did, at such a young age, really put in perspective why she did what she did, and just how scared she was to let someone in.
I loved Easton with all my heart, and even though Molly had to prove herself -- and rightfully so-- I'm so glad that he never walked away from her. He knew she was the one for him, and when he learned about her past, and realizing why she is the way she is, all the while loving her deeper for it, definitely had me shedding some tears!
If you're looking for a heartbreaking, beautiful novel that will give you all the feels, look no further! This is definitely a must read!
**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**
Wow... K Street gives such an emotional beautiful book in Where Love Lives! I loved Molly and Easton's story. It is one of growth and love and of real relationships! Molly had a bad childhood in foster care. The only person she trusts is her friend Paige. I love their friendship and how supportive they are of each other! Every girl needs a friendship like theirs!
Easton is a great guy who had fallen for Molly until she broke his heart because she ran and got scared. They re-connect one night in a drunken state and next thing you know Molly is pregnant.
What this book gives readers is an amazing story of self-growth and trust. How K Street tells this story is a page turner. I wanted so bad for Easton and Molly to just be together but this book wasn't rushed and it was real. Easton's family is wonderful and as they bring Molly in and and she learns to trust them and trust herself, it is a great story. I loved Saylor and Easton's relationship- just as siblings should be!
As Easton and Molly get to happily ever after, I cried and laughed and felt for them! Another wonderful K Street book!
Where Love Lives is an emotional story of second chances and working through past heartaches in order to heal and find happiness.
Easton and Molly were madly in love and planning a future, until Molly essentially got cold feet based on issues from her past and walked away before she could get hurt. When Molly and Easton run into each other months later, alcohol, hormones and maybe a little bit of fate takes over, making it a night they will remember forever. But, their history is complicated, filled with a lot of hurt and emotions on both sides.
I overall really enjoyed Easton and Molly as the main characters but did struggle at times with parts of their personalities. Ultimately I know they both reacted to each other at times out of fear of being hurt, but I feel like at times it was maybe taken a little bit to the extreme. Otherwise I found the story to be highly enjoyable. I did overall enjoy the story line and did feel like Molly and Easton had great chemistry. I would definitely recommend this book!!!
3.5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐💫 Where Love Lives is the second book in the Maplewood Falls, contemporary romance series. It falls under the 'second chance romance' trope.
We were given a few glimpses at Molly and Easton's relationship backstory, but it wasn't quite enough to make me feel like the two characters were still harboring strong feeling for each other in the present. The depth of those emotions didn't translate for me. That said, I still enjoyed seeing Molly and Easton navigate their new reality. Trust was something that had to be earned and given between both parties, and it was nice seeing their walls begin to come down. As their journey moved forward, I grew to believe in their connection.
Overall, Where Love Lives was a sweet, entertaining story. Check it out if you're in the mood for a romantic read.

K. Street really tugged at my heartstrings with Where Love Lives (Maplewood Falls, #2). I adored Easton and Molly so much! Their second chance romance wasn’t an easy one and with a surprise baby thrown in, I just knew it was going to be emotional with angst and heartbreak. What I loved the most about this book is that even though Easton and Molly endured trials and tribulations, they never gave up on love. Molly had a harsh upbringing that contributed to her commitment issues. But Easton was determined to make it work and the way he fought for her made me fall head over heels in love.
Where Love Lives is a beautifully written and enjoyable read. I loved the world that Ms. Street has created in Maplewood Falls with down to earth and relatable characters. I hope we get see more stories from this series.
K. Street captured my heart with this book. This is Book 2 in the Maplewood Falls series but can be read as a standalone. This second chance romance was sweet and hit me in the feels. The love between Easton and Molly was enjoyable to read. The battle to live in the present and not let their past dictate their future was beautifully written. I was hooked on their journey as trust was rebuilt. This is a must read!
This second chance romance was sweet and hits you with all the feels. The love between Easton and Molly was enjoyable to read will pull you right in. The battle of trying to live in the now and not the past is hard for them but the manage to do it and become better bc of it.
From the beginning I very much disliked Molly for hurting Easton...TWICE!!! But this girl redeemed herself and grew in a huge way. I really enjoyed watching her growth and working through the horrible trauma of her childhood. Easton, just Easton!!! He is all things good and he made me swoon the whole time. When that man loves, HE LOVES HARD!!! He was not giving in to Molly again so easily after being destroyed so many times. He made her work for it and it was exactly what she needed. I'm so glad he got his HEA though because he so deserved it! This whole book will give you all the feels. K Street always knows what to write to make that happen. I am never disappointed in her books and am already excited for the next one!!!
Where Love Lives an emotional reads, it’ll have you rooting for a Hea. Molly’s past has her running to leave before she’s left, ending her relationship with Easton hurts both of them but running into him one night a night filled with sex and breaking his heart again in the morning sets the stage that will change everything! This is a story of facing yesterday so you can move forward, digging deep to learn and earn forgiveness and accepting all our faults. K. Street writes emotional stories that’ll have you rooting for the couple turning pages to get to the end all the while enjoying reading their journey!
Where Love Lives is the story of two people who are destined for great love, if only their fears and pride would get out of the way. . Molly is a former foster child who believes that no one will ever stay and who runs as soon as her heart starts to get involved. Unable and unwilling to face these demons she runs from Easton, breaking his heart in the process. Easton is a fiercely loyal man who loves with his whole heart. He’s kind, steadfast and caring. Yet when Molly breaks his heart with a lie, his pride won’t let him forgive her when she tries to reach out. And what a mistake that could be. . This story is about not being afraid to love and be loved. It’s emotional, heartfelt and passionate. Two people you will be rooting for the entire book and hoping that circumstance doesn’t keep them apart when you know they are soulmates. You watch both of them grow individually and together. I love a story where there is such character growth...it makes the story so relatable when you watch people organically learn life lessons and make the changes they know they need to make. This story has all the feels, steam and passion you could want...as do all K Street books. I ended this book with tears in my eyes and I know I’ll read it again and again. . I received an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.
HOLY HELL! Where Love Lives is crazy good, and I'm about to go read it again to make sure I didn't miss one thing! Molly has grown up in the foster system, which does something to the heart with that kind of chaos shaping her, and yet, she has gone to college & even has a good job now working for Easton Chadwick, a man who will send her world into chaos again. I really feel like he fell for her instantly, as they do have some pretty serious chemistry, and while that chemistry isn't going to be denied, Molly's a flight risk big time. She runs from Easton once, he's upset, but when she comes face to face again, they spend a very HAWT night together, then she runs again. Easton is done with everything pertaining to her as his heart can't take it, so when she comes back a third time with big news, he's not even going to entertain listening to her. She tries more than once, when she finally gets the picture, and moves on to do things on her own again. It takes a call out of the blue from Molly's roommate to Easton, to get him back to Molly, as she was trying to tell him something very important, and now she needs him. Can Easton get past Molly's walls & hangups so they have a chance at an amazing future?! Hit that one click button to find out, as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
Loved Molly and Easton's story! Their story was flawlessly written and heartfelt. I loved every single page of this book! Their story wasn't an easy one, but it was so awesome watching their relationship develop. Highly recommend.
Molly and Easton had all the feels!!!! Molly has abandonment issue because of her upbringing and Easton was raised the total opposite. He had loving, supportive parents and a younger sister. Him and Molly were in love but her fear couldn’t make her open up completely. Don’t want to give away much of the story but months passed then one thing led to another and she was back in her head again. This time Easton wasn’t having it and wasn’t going to get hurt again. But life had a surprise for them and their evolvement especially Molly’s was slow but yet very sad and very emotional wrapped with beauty for us to ex. It wasn’t rushed and I loved it. Easton was her biggest cheerleader but also gave her space. It was so beautiful. I loved that it was drama free and just a beautiful love story of two people that love each other dearly but needed that push to be whole. Easton’s family, his best friend and Molly’s best friend was just an added touch that made this book oh just downright swoony. Paige was the best best friend I’ve read in such a long time. Molly was her sister, ❤️.
I really enjoyed Easton and Molly’s story. While I didn’t like Molly in the first book because of how she broke Easton’s heart, after learning her story you could understand why she did what she did.
Molly had such a hard upbringing and learning to count on the people around her was very hard for her to do. It took her a long time to realize Easton wasn’t ever going anywhere.
Easton was so hurt and devastated when Molly left like she did. He didn’t understand what could have happened when he thought they were both happy. While I’m glad the book didn’t go into detail about Easton being a manwhore, I hated that he threw that in Molly’s face. It was also not real clear on when he was sleeping with so many people. I’m hoping it was just during the time after Molly first left and not after they met up again at the beginning of the book.
Author K. Street weaves a wonderful tale in Where Love Lives, book two in her Maplewood Falls series.
Easton and Molly were introduced in book one and we get more of their story! Molly has her walls up as a result of a difficult childhood. She broke up with Easton while trying to guard her heart and ended up breaking his. Their second chance romance is emotional and I found myself drawn in by both the heartbreaking and joyous moments they experienced.
K. Street did a great job making interesting and relatable characters. Despite the mistakes made and difficulties faced, it is obvious Easton and Molly are meant for each other and the journey to their HEA is well worth the ride.
This book is a standalone and can be read without having read the first book, but I definitely recommend that one as well!
Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.
