ATF Special Agent Eric Miller and his explosives detecting K-9, Tiger, pull over a truck, the contents of which are explosive. Literally. More shocking, the driver is the kid brother of a woman he left behind. One who still haunts his days and his nights.

They’d never so much as kissed, but Tess McTavish never forgot the handsome, dangerous agent who vanished in a shroud of

It's impossible not to love anything by Tee O'Fallon. I first fell in love with her writing style with Blood Money. She has this way of blending suspense and intrigue together that bleeds into the romance rather than depending on it. Every element has a purpose and you can't help but be hooked by the story. In Dark 'n' Deadly, each action had a realistic reaction and the secrets that were destined to be revealed held so much weight, giving this story its heft and its depth, allowing the characte ...more

Like the others in this series Dark 'N' Deadly features a hot cop and his K-9 companion. This book takes us to some dark places where you are glad we have heroes like ATF Special Agent Eric Miller and his explosives detecting K-9, Tiger to keep us safe. I absolutely adored hippy dippy Tess McTavish and the way she shakes up Eric’s world. This is a well written story bound to keep you flipping pages. A terrific addition to the series but each book can be read stand alone. ...more

Dark ‘N’ Deadly proved to be an addictive romantic suspense, and I devoured it. Somehow, I missed book two but I will have plans to grab it. These really are standalone as each book deals with an agent in the K-9 unit and delivers an HEA.

ATF Special Agent Eric Miller and his explosives detecting K-9, Tiger pull over a truck and the driver turns out to be a kid. Tess McTavish’s kid brother to be exact. A woman he met previously and one he often thinks about. The kid is carry a truck full of explo

Such a happy feeling is what I'm feeling right now when starting this review, because this book was everything I was hoping for it to be. It's such an amazing feeling to read a book you were looking forward to reading so much and that it lives up to your expectations.

Ever since reading the first book by Tee O’Fallon, I’ve been hooked to her writing and can’t stop wanting more every time I finish a new book. Finishing Dark ’N’ Deadly has me feeling the same again: I LOVED this book so much and I

Fab romantic suspense and adorable canines…

This was another great entry in the Federal K-9 series! Each story has been full of strong characters with heart, including the four-legged variety. A cadre of friends with K-9’s at the core, each of them finding love even as danger lurks…

Eric lost colleagues, friends, to a bomber. A loss he has never been able to let go. He needed the perpetrator brought to justice but he is still the one that got away. Through mutual friends, Tess was not a stranger,

I love these books in the Federal K-9 series because of the dogs who work and the law enforcement aspects.  The author has 23 years as a federal agent and it shows. Although, this is a work of fiction where some of them are in too obviously in danger. We see old friends from the first two books.

The couple in Dark N D
If you enjoy reading romantic suspense with great K9 characters involved, look no further - this entire series has proved to be enthralling reads with great characters, both human and canine! This is one of those series that I keep a close eye out for new stories being released and this is another fantastic read by this talented author.

This is a second chance romance where ATF Special Agent Eric Miller has never forgotten Tess McTavish even though they'd never really had a romance before he had

This review comes purely from the heart. I was lucky enough to be the mom of a German Shepherd who was trained by a police officer and to this day he was the most amazing dog ever! That being said I'm partial to books with K-9 officers in them. However, I can also be extra critical. This was amazing!

I loved this book so much. From the beginning to the end and I did not want it to end when it did. This is definitely a book I'll read over and over and that my friends are the only books that I will

Dark 'N' Deadly begins with Tess McTavish receiving a cryptic phone call from her little brother, Jesse, saying the words she had prayed for "...…….I want out...……". When Jesse had to abruptly end the call, Tess had no idea what would happen next.

Eric Miller was driving with his K-9 officer, Tiger, when a truck in front of him lost it's truck bed's cap. Eric turned on his lights to pull the guy over, but the driver had other ideas. Eric gave chase and the driver finally pulled over. When the tag

Dark 'N' Deadly is the third book in Tee O'Fallon's Federal K-9 series. Apart from being a great series, I love that even though each book is technically a standalone, they all build on one another. So a new reader will still thoroughly enjoy and understand the story and characters, but those of us who have been there from the beginning experience a much more vibrant background and understanding that only enhances the already incredible storyline.

Another great suspense filled story from Tee! Just enough tension between the characters, one incredible K-9 and stellar writing. Eric is a federal agent along with his K-9 partner Tiger.
Tess is a woman with a past she's hiding from, one that she's put behind her and hopes never to revisit. When her young brother she had to leave behind in Alabama is caught driving a truck with explosives he calls Tess. Tess of course goes and there she meets Eric again. The two have a little history, she's the

I was granted an ARC from NetGalley for an honest Review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

My suspense loving heart is filled yet again. This time by a new author that also spiked my interest into reading more books about sovereign citizens and preppers. Of course, there was romance and doggies.

How do you trust someone who withheld information and lied about who they are related to? What if that lie keeps further behind from finding the people responsible for killing several of your buddie

Opposites really do attract, and you can’t get any more opposite than Eric Miller and Tess McTavish. Eric and is super adorable (yet deadly) K-9, Tiger have a strict regime, everything is black and white (or grey and white), rules are rules, and life should be orderly. Tess on the other hand just loves colour, the brighter the better, and quite honestly she does live in her own dream world, also, she’s a huge fan of feng shui, crystals, yoga etc, etc, you get my gist. When their worlds collide t ...more

This book was everything I hoped it would be. The plot was fast paced. The characters were well defined & identifiable. The K9’s were shown in both their intense, focused work mode & their happy, playful “at rest” mode. Tess was trying to escape everything about her childhood except her brother Jess. She wasn’t about to tell anyone her history, not even Eric. Eric was injured & his friends killed in an explosion engineered by the man he was still chasing. He’d do anything to catch him but nothin ...more

When I first started Federal K-9 series I wasn't convinced it was end up being the same story over and over again. The author has found a flow to her stories each one writing style, story and flow improves. Readers will find themselves wanting excited for the next book in the series.

The story follows the traditional best friends little sister romance story line but it takes a twist that readers will given to them right away. Yet they find themselves invested in the different characters.

Tess bolted up in bed, her cell was ringing. Alabama. Was this the one call she waited ten long years to get? Than tess answered and it was Jesse. Her heart pounded with pure joy. He said he couldn’t talk long. Things were messed up. He wanted out. Then he said he had to go and hung up with a police siren wailing in the background. She didn’t want to sever the only link between her and her brother. There was no mistaking the panic and her brother’s voice and she didn’t know where he was. If what ...more

I lost "Dark 'N' Deadly" with a computer crash and a kindle replacement. That being said, I recently was able to retrieve many of my lost books, and so rereading Eric, Tess, and Tiger's story, I fell in love with them all over again. Knowing what Tess had been through and what her brother Jesse was facing was heart wrenching. As ATF agent, Eric and his canine Tiger come face to face with the most horrible time in Eric's life, the story escalates to frantic proportions as they try to avoid anothe ...more

Tess ran from Alabama ten years ago and left her little brother too. Now he calls her wants out but before she gets to say anything, she hears sirens and he hangs up. Eric is an ATF agent with a K-9 partner Tiger. He pulls over Tess’s brother Jesse because he is hauling drums full of explosive material. Even though nothing ever happened between Tess and Eric, he hasn’t stopped thinking about her since he moved. Now he has her and her brother living with him until a controlled drop is made and th ...more

This is a well-written, entertaining, fast paced, steamy, romantic suspense novel. It has intrigue, action, likable, engaging characters, a strong and capable female protagonist, a strong, hot, male protagonist, wonderful K-9 heroes, and a happily ever after ending. It can be easily be read as a stand alone, but is even better enjoyed when read in order, as there are references to characters and events from the previous novels in Ms. O'Fallon's outstanding "Federal K-9" series. I love this series. These are some serious alpha males in law enforcement roles. And BONUS, they are all K9 officers. Tiger is just as much a great character as the others. This one is a real roller coaster of suspense. I loved Tess' reunion with her brother. And along the way to solving this one, the main characters learn about themselves and how to trust and love. This one is great from page one all the way to the Happily Ever After. Great story, great series. Can't wait to read more. ...more

When you are Done with the Rest, Go for the Best!

I randomly found Tee O'Fallon's first book and by the Third page l knew this lady's writing style and her inside knowledge of her subject matter is unmatched by many others and it was no wonder she was able to weave the stories she has. Now I'm hooked on her. I would Highly Recommend this book to Anyone and Everyone who enjoys Action, Animals and many other Genres. WOW, What a Woman.

This was another good book in the series. I didn't enjoy it as much as the previous book just because I wasn't a big fan of Tess. I'm a big yoga person, but even to me her new age crystals were a bit over the top.

This book takes you on a rollercoaster ride! I'm in love with the K-9 Tiger, he's great. O'Reilly writes get down & dirty suspense, slightly sizzling love scenes & hot romance! The twist & turns of the secrets of the characters keep you reading, will they K-9 teams stop the plot of not, turn the page & find out for yourself, I don't think the book will disappoint!

DNF at 20%. I may not be in the right mindset to read this but it’s all feeling a little cliche to me right now. He’s the ATF agent with survivor’s guilt, she’s the vegetarian yoga and Crystal loving free spirit. They both have big secrets they are keeping from each other. Bad guys aplenty. Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the free review copy.
A little disappointed at this book after seeing all the great reviews. The romance was quite long winded at times - got annoyed at how Tess kept going back and forth on whether she wants to be with Eric or not. This is definitely not the best in this series, but I hope it’ll get better.

Dark 'N' Deadly

I think this one is my new favorite in the series. The suspense of what is going on and the suspense between Eric and Tess with their relationship kept me on pins and needles the whole book.

I was frustrated by the conflicts caused by communication issues. It was good to get to the happy ending but it’s hard to believe in a relationship with giant trust problems.
