Help!

Rate this book
"Adam Fieled's Help! is writ with the din that blows eastward from Alleghany range to the eavesdropper's ear in Philadelphia. Inspired by the classic Beatles album, Help! could be the pouring of a soul into a very small cup, or the a bunch of little souls spilling from the cup onto the floor. His poems talk to You directly. They welcome you into their kitchen. They help you with your coat and build a fire. They feed you and then they leave you."

Emotional Meanderings

HELP! is a limited edition chapbook published by The Greying Ghost in an edition of only 50. For those intoxicated by the magic of Adam Fieled's poetry this reader would highly recommend finding a copy now, before this tender little series is gone. Reading HELP! is like taking a stroll with Fieled, hearing his memories of past encounters and illusory loves tossed out like used candy wrappers.

IT'S ONLY LOVE
I can't say, truthfully,
that I've worn a groove
between your picture &
my fingers, but that's
only because I see your
face in my mind, sprung
up from the earth like an
April shoot, on one of
those days, loaded with
clouds, where mist hangs
heavy, leaves drip, tree
limbs seem blackened, &
grass is bubbled crystal.

Other poems such as 'Act Naturally', 'You Like Me Too Much', and 'Tell Me What You See' stir up emotions and craving and some of Fieled more romantic glimmers than we've seen before. Find this book - before it is gone! Grady Harp
