Jessa is a reporter and after having some health issues she needs to track down her family history so she must find her father. She hires Reece and Ryan, twin brothers, to find him. As all three of them spend time together, Jessa starts having feelings for both of them. Who will she choose? Fast-paced steamy read with plenty of drama and steam. An entertaining read.

I found Taking the Lead to be an okay romance, but the characters played at being involved in BDSM. It probably would have been a better book without that aspect, but it was a major part in the story. I found it difficult to understand them switching between their roles as doms and subs. It was as if none of the characters knew what they were. And although the brothers have shared in the past, Jessa is different and they can't get it together as a menage. I felt Ryan was basically ashamed to ...more
Taking the lead isn’t your usual Dom Sub book. There is a whole lot going on and sometimes I had to take a minute and know where I was at. Don’t get me wrong it was a great read but there are things I could have done without. Ryan’s POV for one sometimes made me forget who I was reading and had to pay close attention so I knew. I know he’s a huge part of the story but.

Jesse was a good character for me. She wasn’t whiny or trying to play the victim when her life was falling apart. Reece is my

I liked that there were things about this story that were different than I had read before. Jessa and Ryan and Reece have an almost reverse harem love triangle going on. I am glad in the end it seems like everyone found their happy ending.

This is 3 1/2 stars rounded up to 4 stars read.
I loved the idea behind this book, identical twins, with one woman being attracted to both despite them being quite different in a number of ways. Between them, they decide to go for a bit of an unconventional approach to the relationship and of course this leads to the worries, jealousies and concerns that you would expect.
There was a lot to deal with here, juggling the emotions of all three and how that might lead to something that they could all

Jessa is a reporter for the newspaper, her work is her life. She begins to have medical issues starting with headaches and her doctor states that she needs Jessa's medical history to help figure out what is going on. She needs to get some answers from her father which is not as easy as a visit or phone call, she needs to find him first. She turns to Reece and Ryan, they are brothers - in fact they are twins, that she has used for investigative things in the past with her work. She asks them to ...more

Jenna is a hot newspaper reporter for a weekly Detroit newspaper. She's having some health issues, and decides to do genetic testing. When her health gets worse, she hires a PI firm - two brothers, actually - to help locate the father she never knew. Reese and Ryan are twin brothers who share a lot of things. Women, sometimes. They're into kink, and attend functions through an exclusive private club. The very same club that Jessa's best friend has talked her into visiting. The three of them ...more

**I received a copy of Taking the Lead from Net Galley and the author in exchange for a voluntary and honest review. My opinions are mine and not solicited in any way.**

Taking the Lead by Tara Eldana is what I think will be a series if the ending blurb which hinted to Ryan and Kristin story. Ms. Eldana is a new author for me and even though I don't read a lot of BDSM this book is well worth the 4 stars I gave it.

First time reader. I enjoyed it. Jessa is battling a health issue so she hires PI's to help find her father so she can learn more about her health . Her mother recently passed but knew nothing about his family history. She meets with Reece & Ryan who are PI's. She is mesmerized when she meets them. She notices how handsome they are. Her friend introduces her to a sex club. Both men are a member as well as her friend. Kristen. Once in the club she is beyond words. She loves being a SUB. She ...more

It was a good read. The story is about a relationship between these three characters and who it all takes place and who they fit together. There is a lot of emotions for them to juggle through. Will theses three Jessa, Reece and Ryan be able to have the relationship that they all want?

This is the first book I've ever read from this author. Great story, actually kind of deep storyline the way Jessa wants to find out who she is. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
