She was left for dead, discarded, her heart and soul shattered. Her body torn apart and the man of her dreams turned into the man of her nightmares.
He was betrayed by the one woman he loved. His heart turned to stone and he became a machine for the MC. Not even his brothers pierced his heart.
Then a can of worms is opened, a tattoo seen that can't be unseen, wounds open that never healed and an MC bleeds again. History is about to be re-written, but it's not going to be pretty, it's not going to be nice and it going to be bloody.

In the blurb…Warning, this book contains bad language and some violence.
For starters, this disclaimer is horribly inadequate, and a million negative stars for that. DO NOT READ THIS if you have triggers for rape, pedophilia or graphic violence. All occur and it’s horrific.
I persevered, and, wow, there is fiction then there is FICTION. Kudos to the author for letting her imagination run wild and not letting the boundaries of reality remotely interfere. The 16 year old heroine transforms herself into a SuperNinja bounty huntress extradonnaire with a posse of protective badasses and a Zen Master who missed the class on pacifism. Let me say that the bad guys don’t just get a comeuppance, but are eviscerated at the same level of her attack and once again it’s pretty gross. Skimming was necessary.
The hero is another one that is lucky he’s good looking and in a nurturing MC gang, as he’s not the brightest.
This book...sigh What a crap fest! I saw all of the rave reviews... yeah don't believe everything you read!
The first part is horrible but bearable....
I am sticking with the authors that I trust and the people that I trust for reviews. This book is a big pile of poo! Read it at your own risk! And that is just my opinion! Don't care what anyone else thinks...this book stinks!
This was crazy freaking violent for sure. I would not recommend to anyone because it is really twisted but I love revenge inspired vengeance like John Wick, Peppermint, Law Abiding Citizen, etc., and that type of vigilante retribution is my jam. So I actually liked this book but all the killing and the torture did get a little tire some towards the end. I was over it. But I did like the rising from the ashes and being super human and over the top like Artemis was. It was interesting, totally over the top silliness, fantastical and unbelievable. But I font read for reality. I loved the payback especially Misty and Thunder. What they did was horrible and I mean horribly disgusting and so over the top, I was repelled by it but I still read the book because I wanted them punished. Badly. And they were. The romance aspect is not the main story here so don't think you are getting a romance because you aren't. There is a romance in there but there was so much going on it got lost in all the details and deaths. So if you like retribution stories this is one but there are lots of triggers in it and they are major triggers including rape, abuse, torture etc. Just fyi.

Out of the many books, I've written Ace and Artemis is one of my favourite Rage stories, they all mean something special to me but this one had that extra special kick to me.
After we met Ace in Rage of the Phoenix, it was obvious he was tortured and he wasn't happy or living, he was existing. We had a slight knowledge of his background but it left a mystery.
Ace wouldn't want the woman who stayed at home and was Miss Homebody. Ace needed someone with fire and spirit and who'd accept his scars and dark side because she had her own. Someone who'd see past the dark and bitterness to the man he still was, loyal, brave, caring, loving. Ace was still there buried under the darkness.
This one wrote itself. The research I did was awful. There's so many tragedies out there, so many women suffered worse then what I described to Artemis. I've spoken to people who survived torture at the hands of a loved one, and Artemis is based on those survivors, the one's who refused to lie down and die! So much respect for them. I just wish evil like that didn't exist today but it does.
I've been criticised for being too harsh or not realistic, all I can say if women have babies cut out of them more often than we like, or want to believe, and they both survive and thrive. There's evil out there people!
The Rage of Reading comes out on the 1st of June. It's Jett's and Sinclairs story. Will a prospect get his woman? Or will a brother take her from him!
Bad writing. A story with events written for shock value only, seeing as they make no sense further into the story, and did I mention the bad writing??
This was hilarious. The plot was incredibly stupid. She was tortured by OW and years after she changed her identity and had some work done to her destroyed face ,she helped the hero to find out who killed the love of his life... her..because he thought that she is dead. Ih
This book was a bit brutal at the beginning, and I was okay with the revenge she took out on all of the ones involved. Although I don't think the main tormentors suffered enough. Also I wished there would have been more of a scene of how she made Thunder suffer considering he was the main one who nearly killed her. That being said, I know it's only the second book in this series but the heroin's are OVER THE TOP. I get and love a strong woman but these aren't realistic. Unless I'm reading another genre I want the situations I read about to be something someone is realistically capable of doing. It's not believable so unrelatable. Otherwise a good read.
DNF. It was slow burn. I don’t mind a slow burn but not when a is snail faster. It was slow because there was misunderstanding, stubbornness and game playing. 75% in the book still nothing but chaos.
This was such a tough one to read, from the opening and what happened to Kayleigh to later, the aftermath. Artemis was interesting, from being to kick ass, from her job/crusade, then to realizing who she was. There is no way that after what Kayleigh went through she could be the same, but Artemis, holy cow. Artemis holds no prisoners, does what needs to be done to people who don't deserve to breathe air. Yet as much as I liked Artemis I worried about things with Rage. Something there seemed off. I'm glad that we and all the characters found out what really happened. Also glad that Artemis let the kids get to know Rage.
I liked how this one ended, liked the new direction that Artemis is taking her group. She and her people deserve to have a life, hopefully this lets them.

Severe Trigger Warnings Unexpected and emotional on a different plane. Saddened by the brutality of some evil characters and the explosive emotional roads others took to survive this tragedy. Another Phoenix risen from the dead? Will I continue with this series? damn right I will!
This book was amazing. It sets a harder and faster pace than Rage of the Phoenix. The Hunters Rage took me completely by surprise in a good way. I got this book as an advance reader and couldn't put it down.
Artemis is one badass woman and she makes a statement and keeps making it. At first I was looking forward to seeing Ace as he was my hero from Rage of the Phoenix but this man is tortured! He's mean and nasty and vile at the beginning. With good reason. I just wanted to slap him but there's a part of you egging him on to be even meaner and nastier because of who he's aiming it at! No spoiler here!
There is a mystery in the beginning of the book and I was completely side tracked by the revelation of who Artemis really was, I didn't see that coming. It was shocking.
Ace and Artemis get to show their human side and not just the hard core start they get at the end of the book. I was kept hooked and stayed up late to finish it. I had to know, had to see the ending which was so sweet. This is a love story, it's about whether two people can accept the monsters inside them and accept each others. The story has several twists in it and really takes you on an emotional ride.
If you love Chance then you'll love the Epilogue. Drake and Phoenix make an appearance in the book and Drake makes a hash of things yet again. But this time I did see something, I hadn't seen last time. Drake really does love his club and brothers. He'll do whatever is needed to make sure that they stay safe and happy as best they can. Drake is a twit at one point, he really did come across better this time. He redeemed himself I think in The Hunters Rage.
The characters were great and while at first, you may look at Ace and think, what the hell! Stick with him. He's not the man he appears. I thought Akemi was great. I think I want a Master Hoshi to look out for me as well! Elizabeth has a way of throwing in secondary characters and leaving you gagging for more.
If you want a great read, this is highly recommended!
This was a fantastic read . It had a happy ending but I still felt sad and I don’t know why . The betrayal of the Mc members who hurt Kayleigh was one of the worst that I’ve ever read in an MC book. This definitely was the most graphic rape scene that I’ve ever read . If you have triggers then avoid this . Artemis turned into the most kickass heroine ever but somewhere along the way Kayleigh was lost . Ace had to come to terms with that . I have so many conflicting emotions about this book . I couldn’t put it down .
I’ll preface this with - it’s not a light read. This was a dark and gritty book, yes you get a happy ending but it’s not flowers and roses getting there.
As hard as it was to read certain parts of the story, it’s one of the reasons I enjoyed it. It’s raw and gritty. Unapologetically so.
Great characters and a great storyline that keeps you engaged all the way through.
I thought i would give the second installment a try. This one was just as bad as the first one. The story is so unrealistic. The drama is over done with minimal sexy scenes. If you're gonna write about a MC, you gotta write good sexy scenes.
This book reminded me so much of the movie Kill Bill it was hard not to imagine Uma Thurman as the lead. Great over-the-top story for a comic or graphic novel but there was nothing emotionally to connect with when presented as reality, just quick entertainment.
Expected more but the horrific scenes just didn't do it for me, the whole artimiss character just annoyed me and I kinda wish she wasn't a main character

She had been raped. MMC became her friend. It was common knowledge that they would be together. At sixteen the FMC discovers that she is pregnant. However, she is taken, assaulted and left for dead. The FMC hears her assaulters stating the MMC ordered her assault. MMC is led to believe the FMC was taken or ran away. Years later, the FMC is back for vengeance. Eventual HEA.
Full Review: There was so much going on in this book. There is the base story of the FMC and MMC. Then there is the secret organization(s) that the FMC is part of. The war the FMC has started with a rival gang/mafia. It was just too much for me. I would have loved to be more focused on the relationship between the FMC and MMC. The budding relationship between the MMC and their children. How she was overcoming the assault and betrayal, etc. This story just wasn't for me as it was written.

"Never judge by the cover", this book proved that line true. This was intense, has tons of trigger warnings, has r*pe scene on page, is not all about love and romance. It's about family, betrayals and fighting for yourself.
A fantastic read after a long long time. Ofcourse it's a five star, maybe more as well!!
I was not confident to read this because usually there's something wrong, like the FMC can be a doormat, or it's just miscommunication trope gone bad or there's BBS (body betrayal syndrome). Fortunately, this book had none of the bad parts and it's not until the 60% do we start seeing the romance. Before that it's entirely revenge, mystery and betrayal.
There are tons of characters here, initially it's difficult to keep up with everyone but then you get a hang of it.
Our FMC is badass, she takes badass to another level of amazing. What happened to her was horrific, every time it happened, the horror never went away. How could someone do that? To your own family, by blood or not. She didn't just stand up, she was reborn and that's the best thing ever happened. Our MMC, well, he's confused, shocked, surprised, angry and mourning but when he fucks up, he definitely rectifies it.
I loved how it wasn't easy, it wasn't a "I'll give you all the clues / lay down all my cards for you". There was constantly something happening. The perfection and thought done behind every single move was CAPTIVATING.
They're both powerful individuals so coming together would definitely be difficult in reality and the author has shown us that. How it's rectified is there and how there's no unnecessary drama or a subplot the romance line is surely appreciated.
Another thing which was awesome was that it's not just about our FMC & MMC here, nope, we see a conflict between Drake and Phoe as well and that isn't a small one. It's a big one which gives Drake a lesson. Yes, it was important for Ace and Kayleigh's plotline but it was different to see another couple having issues and moving through it.
WARNING The Hunters Rage contains some violence and swearing.
What a great book. I couldn't put the book down. I received the first book as an advance reader and got this one the same. I enjoyed the first book but this one is fantastic. The characters are so in depth and it picks up from Rage of the Phoenix nicely. Rage of the Phoenix set the background for this book. I kept wanting to jump to the epilogue but forced myself to read chapter by chapter.
Artemis is strong, stubborn, feisty and I loved her character. She's a fighter. Ace on the other hand is ice cold at first, he's only ever loved one woman. You found yourself willing for them to get together. I read the book in two days, and only because I fell to sleep reading it!
I loved the style of writing, the emotion, the humour. The Hunters Rage doesn't have many humorous moments but there's a thread of humour there. There was some brilliant quirky one liners. Any men reading this book will clench their legs in sympathy with Ace, BUT so many women would have dreamed of doing the same! There's some strong undertones of revenge. I got dead involved in the book, it was amazing.
This is my preferred book so far. The characters aren't just characters, these are people, with flaws and faults. I strongly recommend people read this book.
This one kept me awake, I knew Artemis’s story was going to be brutal for her to end up the absolute badass she is now but I had no idea how traumatic her creation was going to be.
This chapter of the overall story is dark, and the author does not shy away from the gory details so please check triggers before diving in. Artemis is a lot like Phoenix, had to rise from the ashes of her old life to claim her place in the world.
There is a lot of info in this book, all of the details are necessary to form the base of the overall story but it can be a little overwhelming at times.
I thoroughly enjoy this series and I’m so glad I’m taking the time to go back and start at the beginning. Each book is a standalone of one couple but you get tidbits of POVs from other characters which helps to fill in the blank. So you can start anywhere in the series and do ok but I’m realizing how much I’ve missed out on from not knowing what happened at the beginning.
The greed of a mentally broken man, the selfish wants of a whore, and the sick need to follow the disturbed. Those are what made the situation of Artemis's birth, the death of Kayleigh.
Ace and almost all of Rage believed she ran when things with Bulldog got rough. The few of Rage who knew what actually happened, they lived thinking they were better than everyone else. Once the real and bloody truth came to light, they felt a small bit of the pain and suffering Kayleigh did.
Truth and blood flow, as the love Ace has for Kayleigh is grown into the love Artemis and he deserve.
Drake miss spoke and caused Pho to be in the position to be hurt.
Dirty lives are taken, a birth comes. Pain tells us we are still alive.
A deliciously dark take of betrayal, abuse, murder and then getting revenge. Twists and turns then a few more twists! Just when you think you have it worked out the author throws a huge spanner into the story and your head spins 180 degrees! Awesome!
Dark themes which may be triggering for some so be warned.
Well written, a few grammatical errors but that's ok.... It didn't detract from my enjoyment.
Love how Elizabeth N Harris writes strong and capable female leads! If anyone's flaws and insecurities are highlighted its the mens! Love that! Hope it continues! Into book 3 I go!
The Hunter’s Rage is the second book in the Rage MC series and follows Ace and Artemis in a story of betrayal and revenge. I was absolutely hooked from the beginning of this book. I will admit I did not read the prologue after the authors TWs at the start of the book but throughout the main story of the book you find out the gist of what happened. I really enjoyed reading this book and find myself totally addicted to the series and looking forward to reading the next one. This is my favourite type of series to find and I can’t wait to see what happens next. I would recommend giving this book a read.
Method: ebook Rating:4/5 stars H rating: 4/5 - Ace h rating:4/5 - Artemis Drama:2/5 Thoughts:WOAH! This book hooked me and I was shocked, I did enjoy this, and even when some of the things looked like A LOT, I did like this one. Will definitely look into other books from this series.
Great book, The Hunters Rage is well written and exciting. Great characters and an interesting storyline. Makes a nice change to see a woman kicking ass and not being trod on by the hero and treated like dirt. The taser scene made me wince in sympathy. Not a good scene for a man to read but I can imagine a lot of women enjoying that revenge. Characters are well rounded and the story plays out well. Recommend you read this.
I have no words to describe this book. There are parts where I struggled with the way it was written, grammatically, but the story itself is amazing. It's fast paced, harrowing, uplifting and worthwhile.
There are triggers and one should think carefully before taking on this book, but the storyline and the characters are brilliant.
This series is quickly becoming one of my favourite MC series, and trust me I've read a lot of them.
No kidding this book was amazing I was hooked from the first chapter to the Last one. I'm so happy how it turned out but I did feel sorry for Kaleigh the poor girl my heart broke for her but she came back fighting that's for sure. I'm glad that she didn't let anyone tell her what to do and what she shouldn't do it was just one of those books that draws you in until you finish and then leaves you thinking about it
OMG!! that was freaking shocking as hell!! I can't believe how that turned out. I'm really impressed. When I 1st heard of this author it was because of her writing her 1st royal bastards book but when it had the rage MC in I was really curious about them. But so far every x I read her books I can't put it down and I end up staying up until early morning hrs. This was good!! I can't wait 2 read more asap!!
If you have triggers due to violence against women,be aware this book could set you off. But I did enjoy reading it havent read this author before. Remember it is fiction so I cant see why a person would tear it apart. I couldnt put it down unless I had to. Have begun teading the Valentine day book. Funny , family & love ....
