Tavsiye ederim.

"Gradually the wound healed. At first St Martin could keep no food in his stomach, but 'firm dressings were applied and the contents of the stomach retained.' ... Within eighteen months a small fold or doubling of the coats of the stomach 'appeared forming at the superior margin of the orifice, slightly protruding and increasing till it filled the aperture, so as to supersede the necessity for the compress and bandage for retaining the contents of the stomach.' This 'valve' was easily depressed with the finger. At about this time it seems that in St Martin and his peculiar injury there was an ideal laboratory for an experimental study of digestion.'" (36)

Live the original experiments that gave us science

How were the facts you learned on chemistry, physics, and biology discovered? Well for twenty great experiments you can see how knowledge was gained, and sometimes not yet gained. An extraordinary tale of how the penchant for precise measurement can lead you to great discovery. Plenty of "for further study" references to continue the exploration.

Great stuff. But something about the gestational stages of a chicken egg just doesn't get my juices flowing. In fact, it is more likely to dry out my eyeballs.
