Wonderful book about learning about kids in wheelchairs, learning new words, and practice reading for young readers. Nice helpful pictures to go along with it as well.

This book showed many examples of how children in wheelchairs are just like other children. It used pictures and words to show that children in wheelchairs can do all sorts of activities such as travel, go to camp, and play sports. It also explained why some children use wheelchairs and what types of exercises help them. This is a good book to help children understand differences and similarities among their peers.

A very small slim book which goes over the basics. That some kids uses wheelchairs to get around that might because of a condition at birth or that they got hurt later in life. That kids with wheelchairs can have physical therapists who help "stretch their muscles". That some kids who use wheelchair can swim. That kids in wheelchairs need ramps to get around but otherwise are like any kids - the go to the library, some play sports, and some go to camp.

Great intro to the concept for kids. Basic and fast and would be a good waiting room book for a facility that treats children.

Some Kids Use Wheelchairs uses real life pictures to help children understand why someone may be in a wheelchair, how they get around by using ramps, and how they enjoy sports and other activities just like children who are not in wheelchairs. This story is an informative non-fiction book. It is very informative and straight forward about children in wheelchairs and I loved the use of real life photos of children in wheelchairs doing different activities because it gives readers a true representation of life in a wheelchair. This book showed great diversity in its characters because each person in a wheelchair was in it because of a different disability which shows children that being in a wheelchair could be for many reasons.

This book is about why some kids use wheelchairs and what they do to stay active. I think this book would be really helpful for students who may be curious about why some people are in wheelchairs. This book would be good for all elementary students. All students can relate to this book as well because they have probably all have seen someone in a wheelchair and are curious as to why.

This book is straight forward and very informative. Great for the purpose of educating kids about the uniqueness of some of their peers. In my opinion, books like these are powerful tools for students.
