Other parts are so interesting, but the parts literally about centimeters and inches of tank guns was horrendous. The book's not bad, but i just couldn't do the E X T R E M E stats (reads NFL book).

Pertaining to the first series of WWI, Donald successfully depicts the key acounts of WWII through monochrome & colored photographs, meticulous explanation of each account, and completed military analysis of weapons and war plans involving several famous admirals of WWII you wish to had a conversation with.

However, almost half of the pages are all about military stuff I am not truly concerned about. Hence, I skim those pages and jump to the next ones if possible.

Again, if you proclaim yourseld as a history buff, I will not hesitate to recommend this war encyclopedia book by Donald Sommerville to kill your time!

This is a great book to read for the people interested in the intricacies of each battle and knowledge of the general ebb and flow of the war. It also covers the instruments of war in great detail including but not limited to the varieties of guns, planes, ships and tanks. However, it doesn't cover the politics of the war and doesn't go much into the decision making of the leaders involved. Things are short and concise everywhere. It does have some excellent historic pictures though.
