A gritty romance filled with lustful banter between two characters that fight their attraction, but slowly open their hearts for more...

Okay, okay... I mean like HELLO?! Can Helena Hunting stop it with the perfection that is her writing? Officially my first favorite book of 2020 and I am not regretting anything... I mean, why would I? Helena never seems to disappoint you at all when it comes down to characters that seriously have the best of the best in chemistry. My gosh, nothing can go wrong

For so many reasons we probably shouldn't fittogether, but we do.

I am so happy I continued on with this series! After not loving the first book (it had my least favorite troupe :/, I was a bit anxious to try this one. I love Helena Hunting’s writing and humor, so I thought I’d give it a go and it paid off big time! I absolutely loved this. Stevie and Bishop were the best and their romance was so much fun!

This guy takes the jerk cake with his asinine accusations. Such an epic waste of hotness.

Stevie is the baby sister of Rook Bowman. Bishop is RJ’s teammate, arch-nemesis, and neighbor. Their first encounter is far from sweet and romantic. They spend the first couple of weeks as neighbors trying to antagonize each other. When Bowman suffers a painful injury during an exhibition game, it’s Stevie that comes to his rescue. Stevie has a master’

Chapter One

As far as bad days go, this is one of the worst I’ve had in a very long time. I can get over the four-hour flight delay from LA to Seattle and sitting beside a man who smelled like old cheese and three-day-old underwear on the plane. But add in one of my suitcases taking a detour to Alaska—or maybe it’s Nunavut; who the hell knows?—and the fact that my remaining suitcase now has a broken handle and is missing a wheel, and this day just keeps

Bishop Winslow is an NHL player for the brand new expansion team in Seattle. He’s getting used to a new team, and settling into a new routine. He needs his sleep, so he’s not too thrilled when a hot mess of a woman is making all kinds of noise at midnight trying to get into his team captain’s penthouse apartment. He automatically thinks the worst of her. He later learns his new pink haired neighbor is his teammate’s little sister, but not before he

This. This book is why I love Helena’s writing. It is comical romantic and filled with unique and interesting characters. I truly enjoyed every character and moment between Stevie and Bishop.

Stevie is a heroine who is totally relatable. The reader understands how hard it would be to live in the shadow of your famous brother and to always question people’s motives. I enjoyed her temperament and her choices, and I loved her as an

Stevie just moved to Seattle - she's a physical therapist fresh out of college. She's also fresh out of boyfriends. She caught her ex cheating - on her birthday, and unfortunately he's working at her new clinic too!

Stevie is staying in her big brother's penthouse. (Rook from the first book just moved into a family home with his wife and baby son.)

Stevie's new next door neighbor is the cherry on top of her crappy life at the moment!

He's running around in his underwear all day long insulting her

Overall Opinion: This was better than I expected! I really loved the slow progression into feelings and even bed for these two! I appreciated that they talked about the hard stuff when they were developing feelings to help me connect with the characters at a deeper level. I enjoyed their banter and how they went from instant dislike to much, much more. My biggest gripe is the end. It didn't give me nearly enough and was too close to the conflict being resolved for me to call it a HEA.

“And how does Bishop look at me?”
“Like he wants to hold your hand.” She pauses, her smile widening at my eye roll. “And shove it down the front of his pants.”

Enjoyable slow burn hockey romance from Helena Hunting. Stevie is RJ’s (hero from A Lie for a Lie) little sister, but she doesn’t want to be known as that. Bishop is RJ’s teammate, but he also doesn’t want to be known as that. All jokes aside this one starts with a misunderstanding, some barely dressed morning strut off, and a bruised

Just to begin with, Stevie is the younger sister of RJ who we previously met in a Lie for a Lie and although they don’t NEED to be read in order I will suggest you do because you’ll love the brother as much as you’ll love the sister in this book.

After an incident with an ex Stevie is left with no where to stay and no one to go to except her brother who just so happens to have a penthouse empty but once see gets there she meets the

When it comes to hockey-themed romances, Helena Hunting is undoubtedly my absolute favorite author and having such great adoration for the Pucked couples, I wasn't sure the All In series could measure up. So thrilled that I was incredibly wrong. After devouring A Lie for A Lie, I was excited to jump into her upcoming release. A Favor for A Favor had everything I relish while reading one of this author's tales - A cast of colorful and looney characters; A broody-hot and lovable hero; A

We started with lies and now it's time for favors.. And let me tell you, when it involves a hot grumpy hockey player, I am oh-so-ready for it! I fell in love all over again with Helena Hunting after reading the first in the series and the second installment is just as delicious. Get ready for this slow burn sports romance because it's a wonderful experience you don't want to miss!

I think I might have to give up on this series. I thought that A Lie for a Lie was just okay, but this was just boring. With the synopsis giving up a super funny meet cute, I seriously thought I would enjoy this. I never cared for either one of our main characters. They felt so cookie cutter and had nothing alluring about them.

My two biggest issues were RJ from book one and how the blame was shifted to Bishop. While I didn’t love RJ from A Lie for a Lie, I thought he was okay. In this book, I

A FAVOR FOR A FAVOR is book two in All in series, a hockey romance that can be read as standalone.

In this installment, we follow heroine Stevie, who we know from book one as the sister of a leading male character, and Bishop a hockey player who is playing with heroine's brother in the NHL team.
It is a slow burn romance, where these two are friends firsts after clearing mistaken identity from the beginning of this book. AfterBishop gets injured Stevie offers to help him as she is a

I absolutely adore the PUCKED series by Helena Hunting and these spin-off books are seriously giving me life. A FAVOR FOR A FAVOR is Bishop and Stevie story and it is FREAKING HILARIOUS. The hubs kept asking me what I was laughing at, but when I tried to explain he just looked at me like I was losing my damn mind. Ahh!!!!! I've been so desperate to read this, holy heck. I feel like I've been waiting forever. If I could squeeze out five million books from Helena Hunting, I would. She's hands down one of my favourite authors of all time. I love basically everything she writes and I'll read it without hesitation. When I say I've been anticipating this, I mean it. I had it pre-ordered and everything.

At first, I didn't know how I felt about this series, but that was mainly with the first book.

This will be yet another short and to the point review since it's been a bit since I finished this book. After finishing and totally adoring A Lie for a Lie, I was super excited to pick up A Favor for a Favor. Unfortunately, this sequel hit a little differently for me and didn't quite live up to my expectations.

For the most part, I did enjoy this story. My favorite part of this whole book

This was a cute slow burn hockey romance , and when I say slow burn.. I mean very very slow, but very enjoyable nonetheless.
After a awkward and tense first meeting , Bishop and Stevie start to play games with eachother , the chemistry between then is palpable, they form a friendship but in the end both want more.
The banter and comebacks are hilarious , blue balls for a month in Bishops case worth .
Bishop is the broody, grumpy , moody type of guy, but with a gentle and soft side once with

The heroine Stevie is the younger sister of RJ, who is the hero in the first book of the All In series. She is left without a place to stay after an incident, and luckily her brother RJ has an empty penthouse where she can reside for as long as she wants. She meets her broody arrogant but very sexy neighbor Bishop the first day and things start off on the wrong foot. He is a member of Seattle’s NHL expansion team, of which Stevie's

I loved this book so much! I was extremely lucky to have the chance to both read and listen to the audiobook of A Favor for a Favor. This enemies to friends to lovers romance hooked me right in and was just the kind of slow burn romance I was looking for. I loved this book. It gave me all the feels. This book Is about Stevie and Bishop. Bishop is a professional hockey player and Stevie does things in the physical therapy field. Stevie was in a happy relationship with Joey (or so she thought). She decided to surprise him and found him having sex with another girl. She ended the engagement and stayed at her brothers engagement. This is how to met bishop because he felt that Stevie was a home wrecker since Bishop lives right across from her brothers ...more

A Favor for a Favor by Helena Hunting is such a great read. Loved everything about it.

The storyline was entertaining, the characters were likable, engaging and my interest was held from the first page until the end.

Another wonderful read by the talented Helena Hunting and a great addition to the All In series.
