Jaxon and Shayla's story will leave you feeling wrecked. Both great characters that have suffered loss. You will be pulled into their story from the very first page. The only reason it didn't get five stars was I still have so many questions. Idk if it's a continuation but I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

When a book hits your kindle and you have no idea what the story is going to be and get drawn into the point where the whole world disappears, that is an amazing story. And Beyond the Wreckage book 1 in the Wrecked series by Ember-Raine Winters is just that. I hade no idea what I was about to read and when finished I had to pm the author and tell her how much I loved it aannndd that I can't wait for book 2.
The way this story is written I had this sense of unease, that I was waiting for the other shoe to drop, that I could stop reading because I felt it something coming. But what happened I just had no idea!!! and loved it!!
The back and forth from the present to the past is so well done. Details and bits and pieces being delivered to us slowly that would make you want to scream to hurry up!!! I needed to know what was happening or going to happen.
This story is on the shorter side of a standard novel but not quite a novella so I just zipped right through and now I am dying for book 2. because I need to know!
Not giving too much away but Jaxon always gets what he wants and Shayla is what he wants. Life is grand, couldn't be better, things are looking great until the past catches up the present and things can get a little explosive.
Must read. Patiently waiting for book2.

This story was pretty sad in places—I needed a tissue at one point. It is all told from Jaxon’s POV, in the present and five years ago. He has an instant connection to Shayla. They both have some secrets, but hers are very dangerous and come to roost for both of them. I love that Jaxon will not take crap from his dad. This does not have the ending I expected—it is kind of unfinished—but I am hoping that is resolved in the next book of the series.

Jaxon and Shayla’s story is one that will flick between the then and now, showing us the connection these two had from the very beginning. Their story is action packed, gripping and full of intrigue. As you line up to the starting line with these two it will be anyone’s guess how the secrets will play out as hearts and lives are on the line.

I love a great sports romance book. This one didn’t disappoint. The hero is a race car driver who falls for the damsel In distress. The chemistry between these two was hot enough to melt your kindle.

Ember-Raine Winters is a new to me author, and I LOVED Beyond the Wreckage so much! It's the story of race car driver, Jaxon, as he's breaking records & getting invites to the big show. Life is great for him, because you already know that he has all the women he could ever ask for. He comes across, Shayla, who pretty much needs her own knight in shining armor, as she has a past which which is not going to leave her alone, or will it?! See, they have serious chemistry, which leads to fiery sexy times, and then, feelings are getting caught. It's a beautiful journey, until that dark past actually threatens their possible HEA. It also provides some f-bomb worthy twists, and that is truly my happy place in my stories. Jax & Shayla are perfect for each other, but will they actually be able to make it through those huge bumps in the road?! You'll have to hit the one click button to find out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

This is a fantastic start to what is going to be a very thrilling series, loaded with lots of action, suspense, intrigue and a whole lot of steamy moments that will keep you on the edge of your seat highly entertained!
Shayla and Jaxon are two amazing characters that met by fate and it seems like nothing will tear them apart. Their fast-paced romance will have you swooning and cheering on the sidelines for them. Every twist and turn their relationship takes will keep you guessing until the end. I can't wait for book 2.

Jaxon has the best day of his life and meets a amazing girl all in the same day. They hit off fast and move even faster. These two have so much chemistry and friction that they keep you on your toes. When she finally tells him her secrets he doesn't run but he doesn't take it as serious as I thought he would. And I get it but at same time it sucked in the end when it all came back on them and ended so abruptly it just sucked. Ready to read book 2.

A story that will have you looking in your rear view mirror at glimpses of the past to understand the connection between these two. This action packed drama will have you anxious and second guessing at every corner. As the unexpected catches you off guard and throws you into a tail spin, you will be left wanting more, needing answers and hoping that Jaxon wins in the race for a happy life.

This is book one in the Wrecked Love series. Jaxon and Shayla's story gives you all the feels. I laughed, I wanted to throw my kindle, and I cried. This book has hot as hell racecar drivers and a girl who has issues. The chemistry is smoking hot with an insta love kind of attraction thrown in. This is definitely a 5 star must read. You are left with a cliffhanger. I can't wait for the next book.

Jax and Shayla take on a fast paced, action packed read with twists and turns and so many emotions your heart will break and your your tears will flow. The more you read the more you want to know. Amazing read that kept me on the edge of my seat with an ending that will blow your mind. Can't wait for the next one.

The story line of this book grabbed my attention at the beginning and kept me interested throughout, and I loved the chemistry between the characters.

This book is definitely a must read!!! This book has everything Hot Racecar driver,damsel in distress and lots of chemistry..I don't want to tell you everything about it but you definitely need to read this book Ember-Raine Winters definitely didn't disappoint with this book!!!
