Probably 2 1/2 stars. Partial reboot of the series - starting a new arc. This one seems to have moved into soap opera-ish territory. The 2 main characters became less interesting, more whiny, but thankfully secondary characters picked it up a bit which kept me reading (though I did find myself skimming a bit over some of the segments.) Hoping the next one picks it up a bit. At least it wasn't bad enough for me to give it up - yet.

A very satisfying conclusion to the ongoing series (a few minis would follow later on) featuring an action packed final confrontation, many shocking twists and OMG moments and goodbyes to beloved characters who's growth have accelerated in the past few volumes.

What's always been a strong series continues to fire on all cylinders, bravely following the plot lines to their conclusions, no matter what it means for the book. Exciting.

The series started out good, went through a little bit of a slump, and then finished off spectacularly! (though I wouldn't have minded it one bit if the whole thing was the Liandra/Black Mariah Show)
