All I want is Hannah.

We've resonated, but she avoids me. She has made it very clear that she wants no mate, whether he has two arms or four. But when others leave the Icehome beach camp for a getaway to a fruit-filled cave, Hannah wants to go, and she needs a companion.

For the first time, we talk...and I realize my female isn't as good as ignoring me as she

I fucking love IPB and IH so damn much!!!!!!!! These books are like a drug to me. The best alien smut evar! I can't wait til the next book. P.S. For real is it me or are these covers just amazing. I fucking love the cover of theses books!
I am addicted to this world! I fucking love Ruby Dixon! THIS JUST MADE MY WEEKEND!

I went from thinking that taking a break from the book community was the worse thing I ever did to thinking it was the best thing I ever did. You wanna know why? Because I get to binge all the RD books that I've missed out on! If you have never read a book by Ruby, what are you waiting on? I'm serious!

The blurb of this book gives you all you need to know about this story. Yes it follows the usual plot of cootie, resonate, avoid, and snog. But these stories are so much

So these books have been my in between guilty pleasure reads for a couple years now. This series is the same old same old from the connected series but I was still liking it. But this one was awful. No story really and this new crop of women on the planet are awful. They are annoying, selfish, self centered mean girls ( at least half of them ) and I could care less about their stories now. Hannah in this one was awful. I feel bad these guys are stuck with these immature bitches. I’ll read the ...more

Maybe the timing for reading this was wrong, but I wanted to slap the idiot Hannah so many times!
Her stubborness was over the top! How can she not understand the word stranded???? Is she an idiot? How can she not understand that being on a strange plant without even a space ship makes it impossible to return to Earth?!!!??? She's supposedly intelligent enough to write a bestseller, but she doesn't have enough imagination, intelligence, common sense to understand that??!!!

Poor J'shel...

Love Ruby

I love this author, I have read every single book and have reread them too. I love this series but Hannah was a little difficult for me. She annoyed me but I understood where she was coming from to a point and understood what Ruby was trying to do with the character. I look forward to continuing the series. But I was halfway through the book and was like why doesn’t N’dek have a prosthetic and have one of the girls be the one who makes it for him as an OT or a PT from our world ya

5 awesome stars

Lots of strange fruit eating (oh wait, that's not a trigger)

Short review:
This was awesome and so much more. This is what IPB or Icehome should be like. All frustration of Marlene and Zennek's story - gone.
When it started I thought it was just typical IPB, you know resonance and khui and mating and I skipped but story definitely taken different turn when out frustrating couple (read Hannah) reached to fruit cave. Both are likable characters and new twist was

So I’ll admit Hannah was certainly not a favorite character of mine. I wanted to throttle her stubborn ass for the first half of the book. But like every single Ruby book, I was sad to see it end and I’m eager for whatever comes next. Hannah denies her place on the planet for longer than she should. Her life at home was about to turn her into a superstar and she’s having a hard time giving up the thought of becomign famous. Sure it may seem a little vain but from what I see of Hannah’s ...more
Oh, man. Poor J'shel. Like all the Ice Planet/Icehome men, he's a total sweetheart and Hannah's avoidance of him hurts a bit. Because, you know, resonance is a force of nature on this planet and not fulfilling it is physically painful.

Not that Hannah's TRYING to hurt him, she's just not ready to let go of the idea of returning to earth at some point and giving into this driving force that is pushing her toward J'shel feels a lot like giving up on that possibility to her. So she avoids and tries

I adore Ruby Dixon's Ice Planet Barbarians and Icehome...and her dragons....and this would have been a 5 stars for me if I hadn't had to struggle so much with Hannah ...the heroine. To say that she is shallow is an understatement. She is mean and selfish, and a BITCH! And even though her actions are explained and understood it made her extremely unlikable.

Meanwhile ...the hero, J'shel, is totally wonderful...tender, respectful, sweet, sexy, giving...forgiving...way too good for Hannah...she

The story of author Hannah and strong arm J’shel. A solid addition to the series. Hannah was not my favourite. As the author says in her note, not everyone can be kickass. Sigh.

I really love it when the heroine develops throughout the book and finds their skill. I particularly like it if they turn out to be a great hunter capable of surviving without having to be looked after. I love the idea that you don’t know you’re good at something until there’s nothing else to do but survive. Hannah was

Ruby Writes Another One

I love Ruby Dixon and all her characters even if I don't like the character. In Hannah's Hero Ruby writes a character who is insecure and reacts to that insecurity by being bossy and trying to manage everything making herself less than everybody's favorite Icehome citizen. Hannah may not be likeable but she is believable in her behavior. I may not have agreed with Hannah and at one point I may have actually blurted out "Get over it!" at my kindle. But, isn't it a sign of

It takes a village

And that village is comprised of a variety of people, fun ones, loud ones, strong and weak, determined and afraid. The story of the Ice Home continues with a heroine who may not be our favorite but who is human in all her confused human emotional glory - someone who is real because we all know someone like her. And a hero who is a patient people pleaser that also is silently strong. These two form part of the fabric of community and enrich it from within. Another fabulous

Loved this book

Started off not really liking Hannah until I got her back story. Loved this book. Looved J'shel. More more more Ruby Dixon I can't get enough. Great lead into what's next and quite frankly I can't wait.

As always everything written by Ruby Dixon is phenomenal. I enjoyed this story because it was a little different with our heroine resisting her laid out future. Our hero was a wonderful alien that made me fall in love with him.

Hannah + J'Shel

Finally, we get Hannah and J'Shel! I mean, there are so many stories that we are wanting asap in this series, but Hannah and J'Shel resonated from day of the the islanders coming over!

I really liked this one. The only drawback was that I didn't love love Hannah, but that is how she is written - we are not supposed to love her. Everyone on the island is annoyed with her, so then we as the reader are annoyed-ish with her.

Hannah really misses home. She had so many big things coming

Appears I forgot to include a rating/review when I read this. Mmmmm.

Basically, appreciated the story but wasn't much of a fan.

3.5 ~ 4 STARS

I can’t believe the whole series has been going on for years now. I will honestly read anything Ruby Dixon writes—even her shopping list.

This book is one of my favourites because it has a fat heroine! LOVE LOVE LOVE. And I know that a lot of people are going to hate that Hannah doesn’t immediately go with what the resonance once, but I felt like it just makes sense. Hannah is someone who has to be control of everything.

And now this khui is telling her she needs to fuck some guy

It was a little rough getting started but..

I really loved the book when they reach the garden and Hannah and J'shel start getting closer and closer it just got better and better but the one thing I don't understand is and which I would really like to ask the author get her opinion on this.. if the old Sky Claw is going to be such a huge problem for them why don't they just get Ashtar to kill the dern thing??? He is a freaking fire breathing Dragon so unless I'm misunderstanding and this thing is

Absolutely a five star addition to the series.

Hannah is so flawed that I could hardly stand her. She seems whiny and bossy. I felt a giant relief wash over me as soon as she got away from everyone and started figuring out who she really was.
J’shel is too sweet for words and an awesome mate for Hannah.

They both grow into an amazing couple slowly. I loved that she is having a hard time coping with this new reality. It makes more sense to have at least some characters that just can’t adjust well.

I can understand why people didn't like Hannah. She's bossy and loud, but she's one of the characters I sympathized with the most. Yes she was being selfish by only thinking of her own sadness, but no one really was there for her. (Well J'Shel was later).

“H’nah?” My name is so soft on his lips that I almost miss it. I turn to look at him, fascinated by the way he says it, like it’s half swallowed. “Yes?” “What words are allowed?” He glances at the ceiling, then looks over at me. I blink at him, trying to follow. “What do you mean?” “When we were alone on the beach,” he whispers, his gaze locked on my face with a stunning intensity that makes my cootie hum louder. “You said that I spoke of inappropriate things. I want to know what words are allowed.” 0 likes
