This collection of 4+1 stories in the Dragonkin series is a lot of fun. Each story is well contained, and slowly builds a wider world where there are tribes of humans and groups of dragons who like and hate each other on alternate Tuesdays. Lots of fights, sex, and snark. Note that these are not strictly in chronological order, which can be confusing for a moment. See the author's website for clarification.

Second book down: Dragons are horny. Who knew.
Fun enough to read around the prurience. Setting aside for when stupid and silly are needed
First book down. So far it's uncomplicated, tongue-in-wherever porn that gets the beats right (NPI) and gives a damn about the wrapping. Legit amusing and affecting in the spaces between. Fortunately or unfortunately, it's right up my alley (NPI) in the pseudo-satirical trappings of sword-and-sorcery-and-dragons tale. And I love dragons (NPI).
I have a problem constantly reading like I used to but this went down really very smoothly (NPI). 3 stars for me means potential and hope to see improvement, and will keep with it.
I'd never have tried it had I seen the cover of the first standalone novel. FYI.

Oh yes, this I like! Wickedly entertaining banter, a sassy heroine who gives zero frocks, and an enticingly hot dragon...
I must say, I'm disappointed I hadn't found this series sooner! I'm in for an awful lot of fun!
Annwyl’s story is one of sibling rivalry gone wrong. And yet, her brother is not our focus...nope. My focus was on the super hot knight and her loveable dragon. Seems Annwyl can have everytjing she ever wanted, she only needs to take it!

Feisty female and an arrogant dragon...where have I heard that before?! I can assure you that despite it sounding similar Talaith and Briec are no repeat of Annwyl and Fearghus. Their trials and tribulations are unique and definitely an adventure. Don't worry though, because your need for Annwyl and Fearghus updates is met and then some. Enjoy the bark, bite, and burn these two stir up in each other and their innocent readers.
What A Dragon Should Know 5 stars
I say this too often but when I am reduced to a puddle of tears and snot- I have yo tell everyone!!! What A Dragon Should Know gave me an Beast of a headache from all my blubbering. Not the dainty sniffle Gwenvael releases, but a snot pouring sobfest that would make most Dragons, men, and the ecen the Beast uneasy. Aiken kills us with this story and it's diabolical knife to the chest. It wouldn't be so bad but it was clearly a serrated blade with a hook and she twisted it like a broken door knob before removing it...leaving me flayed open and oozing organs, Annwyl style! The Beast and our Handsome Gwenvael make an epic match! They are definitely the troublemakers, breakers, and instigators. Long live The Beast!

Keita the Viper gives us a not so coy look and flounces all over our preconceived thoughts about the little princess. She picks the "man" most aggravated at her in all existence on her journey! In What A Dragon Should Know, I was panting for these two to be next and G.A. Aiken did not disappoint! Keita and her lightning are sparking up the pages and firing each other up while the plot thickens...

G.A. Aiken gives us a glimpse of life in the Cadwaladr Clan with Addolgar’s whirlwind romance. He may not be the brightest dragon in the land but Addolgar knows what he wants...eventually. (snickers uncontrollably) The Mountain will have his warrior.

Excellent series.
This is the first dragon series by G. A. Aiken I have read. I love it. The characters are interesting, memorable and hilarious😍😂. The remind me of a combination of C. M. Owens’ The Wild One’s series, R. L. Matthewson’s Neighbor from Hell series, and with a sprinkle of Pippa Grant series characters. I cannot chose a fav character as they are all wonderful and unique. The plot line and arcs are easy to follow without being dry or trite. I bought this bundle and am about to start the next bundle. I can’t wait!

my go to for cheering up
I’m not gonna say that this is the greatest literature of the 20th or 21st century, but I will say I have read the series from beginning to end once a year since I first came across “Dragon, Actually.”
It’s beautifully and simply written, well edited, and it makes me laugh every single time I read it. I enjoy the Snark and the beautiful characterizations of the individuals as they navigate the complications of their world and species.
Most of all, I love that I can re-read these, and still laugh every single time!

Outrageously fun
I originally picked up one of these books in paperback long ago and couldn't put it down. It's a saga of extreme absurdity and passionate love. The characters are strong and well-developed and continue to grow through the series. Reading the books in the order the author meant them to be in adds depth to all of the characters and the story arc. I highly recommend them.

Since I have always been partial to dragons no series could be better
For me than this! A great combination of humour, romance, sex, and
fun. I find it interesting to find out all about each type of Dragon and learn all of their different personal idiosyncrasies.

Enjoyable read
The main reason I like this series is seeing how the women conquer the males. Although the males are dragons and very strong and very powerful, the women, whether human or dragon or witch or warrior are not the least bit cowed by the males. Usually their interactions have me laughing out loud.

Great collection
The first 4 Dragonkin novels and 2 novellas are included in this collection, which was a wonderful way to read them to my husband. Steamy, snarky and strange are the best description of these works.

One of my favorite series
The humor, action, suspense, love, adventure, and justice show up time and time again in this series. So wonderfully written, I love coming back to this series when I need a pick me up. Definitely a must read.

A fun read from a fun author
This 4 book series was written in a refreshing lighthearted prose which included a very graphic depiction of the sexual side of dragons and humans alike. It was a fun read!
