An interesting attempt to apply Freud to the interpretation of history. I ultimately wasn’t convinced by the psychohistorical approach but the material remains compelling throughout, even if the writing is a bit dry.
I especially recommend the chapters on the psychosexual dynamics among Nazi youth & in grad school.
