This one started kinda slow for me Jeannie is spying on her boss Jack and then she tells her good friend Kelly and Kelly comes up with a genius plan or so she thought. When Jacks aunt Marby decides she's gonna live with them while she has some work done on her house. The fakeness starts to wear off and lines begin to blur and it gets a little dramatic. Jake is actually super genuine and affectionate toward Kelly which was a shock but I gotta say it was worth the read. Can they get over

Kelly has never been the strong, forward thinking woman her friend Jennie is. Until the day she sees her dreams possibly slipping away. Then she does something no one expected, including herself. But when an arrangement turns into so much more it hits both Kelly and her new husband Jack hard! Their new life has an expiration date and neither one is looking forward to that at all. But something dark is lurking underneath the blanket of newfound happiness.

I laughed so much and then I cringed,

An awesome story. I love strangers to lovers trope boos. All characters are wonderfully created. The plot ran smoothly, and surprised me near the end. Good job. Look forward to reading more of the Sutton books.

I'm a bit newer to the awesome that makes up Lori Ryan, so The Billionaire Deal is only my second book by her, but I can say without a doubt, I'm ALL IN BABY! This is the story of CEO Jack Sutton, who has brought the family business to next level of success, but also has an issue with one member of the family trying to oust him. He can't come up with a loophole to keep his aunt away, and finally, it looks like he's going to have to get married like his mother stipulated in the will, for him to ...more

*I received this wonderful ARC from @givememorebooks and the author in exchange for an honest review*

What a way to start a new series! Amazing read! Lori Ryan is a new-to-me author that I’m glad I stumbled upon.

The story starts with Jack, CEO of Sutton Capital. Sure he’s a billionaire, but as the saying goes “More money more problems” right? As is Jacks case. What’s his deal? Well, his pesky aunt

I read this book some time ago when the title was Legal Ease. I honestly didn't see any major differences, but as I mentioned, it was years ago.

The book pulled me in from the very beginning. I liked the office scene at the start of the book when Jack saw Kelly for the first time. I liked both of their characters and thought they interacted really well. They were sweet, funny, and witty. I also liked that Kelly wasn't just after getting as much from Jack as she could, and that Jack was sweet,

I am not a fan of millionaire/billionaire stories but since I am a huge fan of the author, I knew I had to give this one a try. Not surprisingly , she delivered a very good story.
The book centers around CEO Jack Sutton and Kelly Bradley. She’s just been accepted into the Yale School of Law. But with the joy, comes the sadness. No way will she be able to finance her schooling.
He’s a CEO of the family company, who might just lose his position if his aunt and his deceased Mother’s will, have any

The Billionaire Deal is book 1 in the Sutton Billionaires series by Lori Ryan. I read the shorter version of this story years ago as the Sutton Capital series. Love it then and love this extended version even more!!

Jack Sutton, CEO of his family’s company Sutton Capital has to find a wife before his 35th birthday in a few days or his will lose control of the company per his mother’s will. Problem is where will he find a woman to marry on short notice,

This is a new edition of the Sutton Capital book ‘Legal Ease’. The author added about seven thousand words to the book and re-titled it The Billionaire Deal. I know I read the original book a couple of years ago but I don’t remember it so I am not sure where the additions were made. But since the newest version is excellent, I don’t think it matters.
This is the story of Jack and Kelly. CEO Jack has to marry before his 35th birthday or he may lose control of his business which is a large venture

What nerve! Jack needs a wife in order to circumvent his mother’s will. Kelly needs money to finish her schooling. A marriage of convenience is just what they need. However, you know what they say about the best laid plans of mice & men! It rarely finishes as planned!

I enjoyed the characters in this story. Jack has developed a group that is as close as brothers. They support him in what ever he needs. Jack starts out appearing as a snobbish rich guy but as you get to know his character &

Jack Sutton needs a wife by his thirty-fifth birthday or possibly lose control of Sutton Capital. Since he is not even dating someone, that is a problem. When a woman he doesn’t know arrives at his office and introduces herself as his fiancée, he is obviously confused. Who is this woman? Kelly Bradley has been accepted to Yale Law, but the tuition amount is way beyond her means. Her best friend tells her of Jack’s need for a wife and she decides to take a chance and offer her hand in marriage ...more

Fake marriage/marriage of convenience is one of my favorite tropes and I really enjoyed Jack and Kelly’s story. Theirs begins as a opportune arrangement and grows into genuine affection. But as they’re beginning to find their happiness something tries to tear them apart. Gah, I didn’t think I’d be so invested in this story, but I was glued to every word. Jack turns out to be such a sweetheart. He had me in swoons with how good he is to Kelly and had me busting out the pom-poms to cheer them on.

Lori Ryan is redoing the beginning of the Sutton Capitol Series adding more to a book and a series I love.

This first book is Jack Sutton, he's a control freak about to lose his empire because of a stipulation in his mother's will. He needs to be married by his thirty fifth birthday or he loses control of his company to his aunt.

An overheard conversation leads to a solution, but Jack has no idea it's about to happen, the ensuing meeting with his aunt, cousin Cole and his 'fiancé' blindsides him

I really enjoy starting a book at the start of a series and this was a great start to the Sutton Billionaires Series. I loved Jack Sutton and Kelly Bradley and of course, Jennie the mastermind behind bringing these two together. I liked meeting everyone who’ll we will get to know better in future books in this series. I must say I’m glad that Aunt Mabry came around with a lot of help from Chad, I’m hoping she can keep her new nicer attitude going forward. I liked watching the relationship ...more

This book has it all - Love, family, friendship, romance, drama, angst, mystery, suspense, action. I loved the instant connection Kelly and Jack had, but it quickly turns to more. They both fulfill a need they didn't realize they needed or wanted. Kelly was a breath of fresh air to Jack, much different than what he was used to. And Jack proved to be sweet, genuine, affectionate - more than his reputation let on. I loved their normality, along with the second plot of the book that took a serious ...more

Some quick action at the end of this one!
A marriage-of-convenience is what Jack needs all because of his mother’s will. Money for school is what Kelly needs. So this tale is about how these two make a bargain that is beneficial to them both. Little did they know that there was danger on the horizon. With a bit of a mystery and engaging characters, you will be drawn into this piece. I enjoyed it a great deal but now I am pins and needles how is Andrew’s grandmother? If you are looking for a good

This is a slight rewrite of the original story and for me it is still an amazing book, just with a little more added! Jack and Kelly are such a great couple, they come together in a totally unique way but are jut perfect for each other. Jacks aunt drove me insane but his friends were just brilliant. The little added drama adds a great layer and makes it a far deeper story than some others with a similar plot of billionaire and hired wife etc.

The Billionaire Deal by Lori Ryan is the story of Kelly Bradley and Jack Sutton.
Kelly just accomplish something extraordinary...she was excepted into Yale School of Law. But the problem is that she won't be able to afford it unless she comes up with a way to earn that money. Jack is being stronghold into fulfilled his mother will where he is to be married to keep what he place in the family business. So he just needs a temporary wife to fit that need without the hassle of a real relationship.

Wow, this was such a fun and sexy read. I laughed at how Kelly meets Jack, coming to his rescue with a sticky note. Loved their chemistry. There was a twist that kept me on edge. Who was really in the black sedan that seemed to be following her? Will Jack get a chance to let her know he loves her? Would she stay past the year they agreed upon? It’s a very heartwarming ending. Loved the sense of family, though I thought Jack was too nice regarding his Aunt but thankfully it’s a great ending. I ...more

Billionaire stories are not really my favorite trope, but this one was good. Jack needs a wife, fast, to keep control of his company. Kelly needs money to pay for law school. Yep, they get married. The plan is to stay married for a year, and Jack’s aunt moves in to ensure the marriage is real. Let the fun begin... Author Lori Ryan writes wonderful Romantic Suspense, and this book does not disappoint. Human trafficking, kidnapping, and chemistry all play a part in this one. I really enjoyed the ...more

I just really liked this book. While the plotline was fairly standard, Lori Ryan created genuinely likeable characters. I loved it when Kelly Bradley was able to knock Jack Sutton off his game by making him an offer that he couldn't refuse. He gets a wife ans saves his company. What happens next is surprising to both of them and not what they counted on. There's some suspense and danger, a meddling relative, supportive friends and family and good old fashioned falling in love that rounds out the ...more

Jack is CEO of Sutton Capital but due to the terms of his parents will if he does not marry by age 35 his aunt Mabry gets enough extra shares to help vote him out and insert her son into his position. Enter Kelly into his office posing as his fiancée. The two enter into a marriage of convenience when she requests tuition for 3 years of law school. She will marry him for 1 year at which time they will divorce. As expected nothing turns out as planned. A nice fun story with a feel good feeling.

The story has pain, suspense and heartbreak.

This is Kelly and Jack's story. Jack needs something but so does Kelly. Kelly makes a proposition to Jack and he agrees. They never thought that they would spend so much time together that they would start to fall but when Kelly is threatened Jack knows he'll do anything to keep her.

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I recommend this book.

It is not a new storyline but one that delivers well in this book. You definitely get to see the attraction grow and see that these two should have a future together.

They have great chemistry. I liked how he treated her with respect. She was very honest with him and trying to just have a chance at continuing her education. She didn't want to take advantage of him. Her growing feelings scare her.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

The Billionaire Deal is a new and expanded version of Legal Ease of the Sutton Capital series. This started out a little slow for me but picked up once Kelly and Jack strike up their deal. Jack and Kelly have an instant connection/attraction and it only grows over time. I enjoyed watching their relationship transform. This is not only told in Kelly's and Jack's POV but also a few of the supporting character's as well. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the Sutton Billionaires series.
