Rate this book
For those of us that know that nature is There, but don't quite know what to do about it, here is a book that charms, delights, and invites by telling how to learn to love a swamp, how to attract many varieties of birds to your doorstep and how to recognize them once they've arrived, how to raise moths in your own bedroom, how to keep an indoor garden prospering, how best to provision a feeder, how to get a deer every time (to watch, not shoot), how to make sense of field guides, how to offer children a close-up view of the home life of birds, and much more.
