A lovely story with a twist on a traditional tale aimed at quite a young age. Children are able to learn about the theme forgiveness and how this can make them feel if they don’t forgive and forget.

There is also a page at the end of the book to help children talk about the concept of forgiveness and questions to generate talking points.
It also suggests making an acrostic poem for the word forgiveness about the events in the story and key words or phrases that fit with forgiveness.
