What’s Your Sign? is a fun, light-hearted, enemies-to-lovers, romantic comedy and a truly enjoyable quick read! Lila Monroe never fails with her fun and sexy rom-coms, with the perfect balance of humor, heat, and plot twists.

This book features an office romance between an up and coming journalist, Natalie, and the new CEO, Justin. After a steamy encounter in their office building’s elevator with a hot stranger, Natalie soon discovers that the same stranger she was locking lips with not 5 minutes prior, is her new boss. Tensions rise between the two as they butt heads over what should happen and what’s actually going to happen with the newspaper. But the more time they spend together, and the more sexual tension that builds with every barb and banter thrown at each other, these two quickly see that they each want what’s best for the company…and realize that the stars have aligned perfectly with one another.

I really liked this book. Both characters endured their own set of work problems while trying to navigate their new “relationship”. As much as they seemed to be an ‘opposites attract’ type couple, they’re more similar than they truly want to admit. Natalie and Justin’s chemistry explodes off the pages from chapter one and continues to build throughout the story line. Their whole employee/employer dynamic screams ‘complicated’, but it works legitimately well for the plot of the story.

Lila Monroe is the queen of romantic comedies! If you love laugh-out-loud, sassy, and sexy romances, then look no further…you won’t be disappointed.

3.5 Aries stars!

Another fun read in Lila Monroe’s Cupids series. This one was a strangers-to-enemies-to-lovers office romance.

Natalie and Justin have one of those meet-cutes that you only read about. Two strangers, trapped in an elevator, who end up sharing one hot and steamy kiss. Once they are rescued Natalie discovers that Justin is her new boss at the Gazette newspaper.

I enjoyed watching their push and pull relationship. At first Natalie only sees Justin as the spoiled rich kid who’s only there to tear apart and sell her beloved newspaper. As they start to work together and she realizes that he’s trying hard to come out from under his father’s thumb and actually save the company they begin to spend more and more time together…becoming closer and closer.

“I know, all that fate and soulmate crap never rang true to me in the past, but something about Natalie and me just clicks.”

The only thing that I didn’t really enjoy about the book is

This was another book that gave me all the good rom-com feels. Not as great as the first book in the series but still quite enjoyable. On to the next!

Natalie works for The Gazette and like a lot of newspapers it faces a lot of challenges in this digital age. The paper has recently been sold and the staff are awaiting the fate of what comes with that. When Natalie steps into the lift up to the office on announcement day, her day goes from bad to worse when the lift stalls, then completely stops mid ride. However, Natalie is not alone on that lift.

Justin Rockworth has been tasked with taking on his father’s latest acquisition, The Gazette, to see if it is worth saving and if not, he has to dismantle it and sell off what he can. The morning of his arrival he gets temporarily stuck in an elevator. The silver lining to this is the cute girl in there with him. They go from general conversation to some heated kissing, which comes to a halt when the lift begins moving again.

Natalie cannot believe what just happened in that elevator and when she meets Justin in his professional capacity, her new boss, she is completely gobsmacked. She is determined to show him that the beloved paper she has worked so hard for is worth saving. There is also the small issue of the attraction they feel towards each other.

Natalie’s passion for the newspaper seems to be contagious and instead of dismantling it, Justin seems hell bent on saving it. This goes completely against his father’s wishes but he really thinks he could turn a profit for him. After all, according to his daily horoscope, which he seems to take inspiration, he just needs to have faith and keep believing in his decisions.

Little does know is that he is being subtly manipulated by Natalie, who is secretly writing the horoscopes whilst the regular writer is on holiday. Things seem to be going really well between Justin & Natalie and things are getting serious but what will happen when he finds out the real author of those words of wisdom?

This was another fun read from Lila, she writes fantastic romantic comedy and this story was another laugh out loud reading experience.

4.5 Star Review of What’s Your Sign? by Lila Monroe

Lila Monroe had me from chapter one in this fun, quirky and entertaining read about Natalie and Justin.

Every time I read a book from this author I
I think I have a new favourite and here I am thinking it again.

This book centres around an office romance, which appears to be written in the stars. Justin has been tasked by his father with determining whether The Gazette is a viable business or if it should be dismantled. While Natalie, is filling in and writing the horoscopes of which Justin seems to follow.

What will happen when he discovers that the horoscopes he follows are written by Natalie? Will he forgive her? as bothJustin and Natalie want to save The Gazette but are working at cross purposes.

I loved Natalie and Justin, both separately and particularly together. There was something about these two that got to me. They were so easy to like and relate to and it made for a great read.

There were quite a few laugh out loud moments and the banter between them was witty.

Lila Monroe is an author who knocks romantic comedy books out of the park. Her books are, sweet, spicy, romantic and so funny that you cannot help but fall in love with her characters and her stories. I never fail to smile when I read a Lila Monroe book.

I had an amazing time reading this book. "What's Your Sign?" was a lovely, enjoyable, funny read.
I'm a sucker for a good office romance and the way this story starts made me swoon and fan myself right away.

I liked both the main characters, our heroine doesn't shy away from difficulty and she stands up for what she believes in, and our hero is so humble and he has a good work ethic even if he came from a rich and family. Natalie, is a young reporter for The Gazette, Justin, is the journal's new CEO, sent to cut off the burdens and the costs. They have a great chemistry and complicity at work place and outside.
Will Natalie succeed to save her job and that of her collegues? And what is she willing to do in order to save it? Will they have their happy ending? Or their future is bound up with the fate of the struggling newspaper?
Find out the answers to these questions reading this story as soon as possible.

I'm looking forward to Lila Monroe next book.

Natalie is working her dream job at the Gazette. Unfortunately, the new CEO Justin has been tasked with dismantling the paper. Natalie discovers Justin enjoys the Gazette's astrology column and the current writing has gone AWOL. Natalie decides to take over the column and use it to nudge Justin in the right direction to save the paper.

This was a cute, light, and fun read. If you are looking for something quick and sweet to read, then What’s Your Sign will fit the bill.

4.5 SMOOCHES!

I’ve read the majority of Lila Monroe’s romantic comedies, and I’ve enjoyed every single one of them. Her light-hearted, easy-reading romances never fail to entertain me and make me smile. Monroe perfectly balances the steam in her stories with fun plots, full of humor but without heavy angst or needless drama. Her writing is vivid and descriptive, and she peppers interesting details into her imaginative storylines full of endearing, likable characters surrounding a couple chasing their happily ever after in a sexy romance.

What’s Your Sign? is the second book in her Cupids series. A workplace romance, the heroine, Natalie, and the hero, Justin—who, unbeknownst to her at the time, is her new boss—have one heck of a steamy meet-cute in the elevator on his first day. Justin is at The Gazette, the newspaper his family’s company bought, to make some tough decisions. Natalie loves the paper and her job, and when an opportunity help the stars align to save the paper lands in her lap, she runs with it.

The more time they spend together, the more their chemistry sizzles. This couple was so perfect together, and I was rooting for them from the start. Filled with witty, flirty banter and enough heat to launch a rocket, Natalie and Justin’s relationship quickly shifts from the professional to passionate. It isn’t long, though, before Natalie realizes that her job isn’t the only thing she could lose once Justin figures out she’s been pulling his astrological strings.

Full of humor, heart and heat, What’s Your Sign? was fun, fiery and full of feels! An absolute pleasure to read from cover-to-cover, What’s Your Sign? by Lila Monroe gets 4.5 smooches from me!

Oh I loved this story sooo much!! Natalie and Justin's story kept me entertained and glued to the book, even when I was supposed to be working. Don't tell the boss!!

I felt so connected to Natalie and how she tries to solve problems, take care of everyone and can be impetuous at times that I really put myself into her "role". And Justin just grabbed me from the get-go. He was flirty but was business-like but also so much more real than his "profits only" father. Which I think that Justin was doing a pretty good job trying to keep his father out of his newspaper.

This story is light-hearted but also deals with deeper issues. So you laugh, think and just truly enjoy the read.

What’s Your Sign is book #2 in Lila Monroe’s Cupid’s Series. This is a super cute office romantic comedy. If you want light, fun and flirty this is your book! Natalie is a hard working up and coming journalist. She meets Justin and has a pretty steamy lip lock in an elevator only to later find out he is the new CEO of the company she’s working for. She later finds out her job could be in jeopardy AND the fun times begin! The two have some moments of push and pull and they definitely clashed at times but more than that their chemistry was instant and steamy and the whole story had a bit of an enemies to lovers vibe. Natalie makes a decision to write horoscopes for the paper when the usual writer goes missing and this sets off a chain reaction of events that I didn’t know how would turn out. There is light angst and a ton of laughs that had me addicted from beginning to end.

When Natalie is stuck on an elevator with a gorgeous guy, they end up having a hot smooch. Fun and easy until she finds out the smoocher is her new boss...

If you are in the mood for a fun and witty office romance, then I highly suggest you download a copy of What's Your Sign? Natalie and Justin are such a great couple, navigating an office romance with wit and sass, all while Natalie shines. I think she was my favorite part of this whole story and made it stand out from the pack of rom-coms that fall onto my Kindle every day. Justin was perhaps a bit boring, but Natalie's intelligence and wit more than made up for his lack of pizzazz. All in all, a fun and sexy romance with just the right balance of rom and com.

Readers can count on author Lila Monroe to bring some lightness and laughter into their day.  Her latest novella, What's Your Sign?, is a hilarious office romance.  This book takes off with an adorably awkward meeting and it gets better with every page.

What's Your Sign features Natalie, an energetic and feisty journalist at The Gazette newspaper.  Even though the industry is sagging, she loves her job and her coworkers.  Her dedication to saving the newspaper is admirable, and the lengths she'll go are uproarious.  Justin, who is the sent in to dismantle the newspaper organization, is secretly hoping to save the paper and the employees.  As the last hired, he should fire Natalie, but her infectious enthusiasm wins him over.

These two characters make a great team.  The banter is fun and their joking around with each other is hilarious.  Ms. Monroe has again created a couple of characters who feel real and had me rooting for their success.  The antagonism over the potential office shutdown eventually turns into a romance as Natalie and Justin work together to save the paper. Naturally, there are some hurdles to overcome, but that provides more laughs than angst.  Between the missing astrologist, the aging actress next door, and the fatherly matchmaking the fun never stops. What's Your Sign? is a charming, quick read that left me hoping for more stories about the secondary characters.

What I appreciate the most about Lila Monroe’s romantic comedies is that she takes an idea for a story and makes it her own, adding little nuances and quirks to it and its characters and in her newest release, What’s Your Sign, the spin she takes on the office romance trope is an intriguing one because there’s a bit of deception on the part of the heroine and regardless of how altruistic her motives are, going about things in the way that she does may help keep The Gazette stay in business, but it might also destroy what’s been building between the hero and the heroine, given what Justin was tasked to do with his father’s latest acquisition and how Natalie’s daily horoscope entry persuades Justin to go in the opposite direction his dad had wanted.

Natalie and Justin’s meet-cute sparks the kind of connection that any man and woman would want to see where it goes, but there are extenuating circumstances that they don’t initially know about, and once they do, it not only makes their entanglement a bit problematic but it also leads Natalie down a path that may save her job/career but it also might ruin anything she had hoped to have with her elevator hottie.

Like Monroe’s other romcoms, Natalie and Justin’s story is a humorous, steamy, and witty read - one where its characters exchange witty barbs and lustful looks and a passion for each other as well as their careers that, hopefully, will allow the stars to align and love to last even after the last horoscope is read.

I do love an office romance...and although the situation that leads to these two main characters meeting I by no means new & was rather predictable, I absolutely loved it! Just what I needed after a few heavier books - an easy to read, fun filled, light hearted, rom-com! It ticked all the boxes and I was able to devour it from start to finish.

When Natalie's newspaper that she writes for as a journalist, gets sold to a big corporate company, she fears for the future of the newspaper she loves. It's not just her that potential job losses would affect, the entire newspaper is at risk from these money grabbing, bigwigs.

Justin works for said giant company, The Rockford Group, and it has been tasked to him to come into the Gazette and work out what needs doing. Justin is determined to succeed, but with family ups and downs, pressure from others, being immediately assumed to be the 'baddie', not forgetting the distraction of Natalie, his time ahead will not be easy!

This was a really enjoyable read with some brilliant twists and surprises. I loved the storyline and I loved the characters, Would definitely recommend.

What's Your Sign is the second installment of the Cupids series and it's about Natalie Martinelli a staff writer at the New York Gazette and Justin Rockford.

The plot is simple: the newspaper was bought by the Rockford Group and Natalie along with Justin were trying to save it, each one in their own way. The chemistry between them was strong from the beginning and soon they ended up doing the dirty, multiple times. The dramatic part was towards the end where one of them found out about the other ones lie.

It's a cute and funny romance with a few hot love scenes and many hidden moral and life lessons. I loved the characters, especially Natalie she was such a strongly independent and feisty woman who wasn't afraid to stand up for herself or others. I liked Justin as well he wasn't the usual rich asshole playboy, he was sweet and caring.

I enjoyed reading this book, I highly recommend it and I will rate it with 4/5 stars.

December 20th last year, Danish publisher Gyldendal published Minnie Darke's book "Star-Crossed".
I thought the synopsis sounded familiar and went hunting on my kindle to see if I already had the book. I didn´t, but found an another book whose synopsis sounded familiar.

I haven't been lucky enough to read Minnie Darke's book yet, but if you love astrology and romance, "What's Your Sign" by Lila Monroe is just the book for you.

This book was a pleasure and easy to read.
I especially liked the playful language kept in a cheerful, flirty and fun tone.
The story was sweet and romantic, and I wanted more when the last page was turned.
I will no doubt read more from this author. In fact, I have already pre-ordered the next book in this series, which is about another character in this book. I can´t wait for January 28!

Star-crossed lovers. The beautiful tragic stories that seem to always be too good to be true.
What if you could change your fate? Make the stars work for you? Natalie works for The
Gazette, a newspaper that is slowly falling into obsoletion as the world is moving more towards
a digital age. A guardian angels has swooped in to save the dying company, and Natalie has no
idea what to expect of her new world. When her first day with the new owner, she is hoping to
give off a good first impression. That impression did not include getting stuck in the elevator.
Luckily she isn’t alone in this moment of fear. How quickly they went from strangers trying to
offer each other comfort to wrapped up in each other’s arms, passionately kissing when the
elevator begins to move again.

Justin Rockwell has no idea what to make of his father’s most recent acquisition, The Gazette.
The fate of this company lies in his hand. He will be the one who will determine if the
company has any salvageable qualities to it, or if they should cut their losses and sell what they
can to make their deal worthwhile. Justin’s day goes from bad to worse when he upon setting
foot in the building, he gets stuck in the elevator. The only bright side to this small bump in the
road is that there is a gorgeous mystery girl also stuck in there with him. Out of the elevator
and into the real world, Justin and Natalie get a shock when they learn who they just kissed.
Can Natalie’s passion for journalism and the newspaper convince Justin to save The Gazette?
I think that this concept is so fun. I’ve always found the star-crossed lovers trope to be a story
filled with tension, lust, pain and inevitable heartbreak. Monroe does grab you right from the
start considering there is a steamy make-out session to kick the whole novel off. The story is
face-paced and keeps the reader intrigued from the start. The manipulation factor is innocent
enough that most of what comes from Natalie’s actions is funny and laughable. Nothing
drastic happens that it would cause harm to the characters. The story moves between Natalie
and Justin’s point of view which I found to fully capture the whole story. The reader understands
Natalie’s thoughts in what she wrote, and then gets to see how Justin interpreters them.

I’d give this book 5 out of 5 stars. Justin Rockwell is being added to my list of book boyfriends
and I’m not ashamed. He’s sweet and compassionate, wanting to do what’s best for the people
he works with. He doesn’t live up to the mean and rude CEO that his father wants him to be. It’s
simple to see how Natalie fell for him because I think every reader will do so as well. A light
heart read that will have you laughing from start to finish, What’s your sign is perfect for all
those horoscope obsessed readers out there.
