I was very interested in this book, since my gg grandfather rode with Morgan on his great raid into Ohio as a teenager. Good book.

Decent little primer on Morgan and his Civil War service. Originally a part of the Kentucky Bicentennial Encyclopedic collection, it is more an introduction than anything. Far more detailed works are available.

Good information, but if interested be sure to read "In the Season of the Wild Rose" by Clara Rising.
