What an impressive cover! An absolutely stunning fantasy book! Gripping from the beginning, it develops with a fine pace, introducing us to the various characters with different backgrounds who will come together to form a team like no other. With a wonderful world building, a mesmerizing magic, the revelation of an ancient evil thought dead.. the storyline builds up tempo gradually, with intensity. The spells described are incredibly amazing and mostly spiritual in the make, focusing in one’s i ...more

I really liked this story. The characters were a blast and both fun to like the good guys and dislike the bad guys. I really liked the mix of magic and adventure as Percel leads his crew of newbies into the the dungeons and ends up trying to save the day. Watching Percel form his crew was an absolute hoot. I laughed through most of the book and loved the tangents and random craziness that appeared. Well worth reading as I was hooked from the beginning and could not put it down. Loved the secrets ...more

Her team prepared to back her up with their own skillsets. What she sensed was a little human boy, in the flesh and not a spirit, waiting for t ...more

An entertaining read that made me laugh. Great adventure, magic, monsters, and twists. Fun.

I volunteered to read an ARC copy of this book. This is my honest opinion.

I ordered this book from Amazon because it was free for Kindle. I spent at least 20 years of my life immersed in Dungeons & Dragons and even now at the age of 63 I still like to reread the modules and the Forgotten Realms, Ravenloft novels.

Imagine my surprise when I found a new book written about dungeons. Well, free is free as the saying goes. After reading the two hardcover books I bought recently, I decided I wanted something light to read. This seemed to fit the bill perfectly.
