I only picked this upfor Agnes Repplier and I definitely would not bother with it again.

The only stories I liked were:

Agnes Repplier ~ Sin

Dorothy Parker ~ Standard of Living

Marjorie Worthington ~ Hunger

Overall, a rather paltry offering as an anthology that is centered on women's friendships. I did not at all care for the introductions and the assumptions made about the authoresses and their lives.
