I started this book 4 years ago when I first started my business and I didn't really grasp the value of it so I put it back on the shelf after a few chapters. I'm further along in my business now and I've found this book to make a whole lot more sense now that I have a clearer vision and financial goal. While there are many categories of topics that can increase or decrease a business' value in the potential buyer's eyes, the authors do a great job of helping the entrepreneur zoom out and see the big picture goals but also going into each of those areas sequentially.

I'll be revisiting this book a little further down the road, but being able to see what I'm driving towards is a huge help.
