Here's volume three of Digital Art Masters, compiled by 3D Total. There are 60 artists included, each showing how their image was created. This is 10 additional artists more than Digital Art Masters volume 2.
The book doesn't focus on any specific software, but the frequently used software are 3D Max, Maya and Photoshop. The art techniques used by the artists can be easily achieved using similar software.
Each artist talks about his working process, on techniques, challenges and inspiration behind each piece. Topics range from mundane things like choosing canvas size to technical talk like setting up shaders and bump maps. This is a work flow process book.
