I am very glad I didn't have high expectations going into this. As it was, it was still very disappointing.
This is short, but it felt like it took way longer than it should have. It picked up when the sex scenes started but the first half of the book was just about Wesley and Mallory. Which, fine, that is how she gets connected to the three of them, but it really felt stilted and entirely unlikely with their conversations. And even that is an understatement. Lots of coincidences, familial, behavioral and otherwise happening all around.
The "magic" seemed too forced. It was all too forced - too scripted. It was a great job for consent and understanding here. I liked the relationship Andrew and Wesley already had set up.
The ending? Cute enough. But I did not like the time jump. Definitely would have liked more explanation from the timeframes. Also, didn't really care too much. Maybe this would have been better if it had been longer, though, and not so confined...
This is called Christmas Trio but, really, the only Christmas-y thing about it is that it takes place during that time of year (and I guess it makes getting to know each other more convenient).

I applaud this author for stepping outside her box and writing something completely different. I liked certain elements but I missed certain things that I love about this author. I didn't get the chance to dig into the story of connect with the characters the way that I wanted. This was a shock to me because I love this author. Perhaps, if this had been a full length book I would have had the chance to get invested.

This was a short quick read that I liked. This was also my first time reading this author. When Wesley Heart who is a world famous singer comes into the bar Mallory Cate works in it becomes a night she won't forget. Along with his boyfriend Andrew who is a movie star the have one hot night. This book was pretty good I just wished it was longer and had more backstory content. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

Really liked this author's writing style, have just downloaded the Enigma series on the back of this book. This is a lovely slow build up to an incredible threesome which we love eh C !! A very sexy read with an unexpected ending ...scrummy!!

Loved the plot and steamy scenes.
Wish there would have been more of their together (non-sexy) time to build their relationship, but that's b/c I liked plot line so much I wanted more details. But I liked them all together and the boys' protectiveness!

I am a fan of celebrity romances and this did fit the bill. It was super quick and I liked the premise but it was too quick and I was wanting more from this triad.
In the beginning I was a bit confused how the whole story started as it felt like it started in the middle of a movie but once got my bearings I was on board.
Wesley Heart rock star is in a relationship with Andrew Pearce Hollywood heartthrob. Then Wesley finds himself in a bar in the middle of no where and finds Mallory tough as nails bar owner.
We then find out Wesley and Andrew are both pansexual though Andrew has never been with a woman before. Then Wesley finds the spark and convinces both Andrew and Mallory to give the trio a try. The steam was good once they all connected but I wanted more of them so was sad it was too quick.

Oh my! What a fantastic story! This is a great M/M/F tale. Holy Hotness it sizzling steamy goodness. When Wesley Heart a world known singer stumbles into her saloon. Mallory Cate is taken on the ride of her life! Along with his boyfriend Andrew who is a silver screen god. What will happen? Read and find out! Shandi Boyes has really done a great job on this story. Christmas Trio: A MMF Short Story by Shandi Boyes is the first book by this author that I have read an I really enjoyed this story of Wesley, Andrew and Mallory. An interesting and intriguing arrangement, not to mention super hot! I enjoy ménage, though I lean toward the MFM, this one was thrilling in it’s own right because of the dynamics of these characters.
Overall, a fun read with a bit of holiday cheer and a promising HEA too.

A Sizzling🔥Hot🔥Romance!!
I loved everything about this book. The plot, the characters, the editing, the writting
Wesley the Alpha made the sex that much more smoking hot.
M/M is one of my favorite genres. I absolutely loved this book, not only because of the genre but it is very well written with likable characters. The chemistry between all three characters is smoking hot the sex will leave you dripping wet 😂💧

very descriptive
It is a Christmas short, so do not expect it to be realistic. A lot happens under, over, besides the bed sheets, with just enough background to understand the dynamics between the different characters. There is only one POV, the woman’s, so I did miss the thoughts of the two men, especially of Andrew’s. But it was entertaining enough, to spend little less than an hour in front of the fire place, dreaming.

This is the first time I’ve read this author or a MMF. I’ve read ménage and reverse harems before but not this. I don’t know what this author normally writes but for her to go outside her comfort zone and come up with this...it was great !! For celebrities to mix with a bar owner (essentially a nobody) and want it forever is amazing. Maybe next time the author will write a novel vs a novella as I wanted more from this steamy trio.

An actor, a pop star and a barkeep equals lots of fun.
Wesley is the pop star, Andrew is the actor, and Mallory is the barkeep. I absolutely love Mallory! That girl is spunky and outrageously out spoken. When we meet her, she has her shotgun pointed at a mob of groupies that was stalking Wesley. Her antics and sarcasm had me laughing. I enjoyed that break in my day.

An easy to read, steamy little Christmas novella. Life becomes habitual and so mundane that you don’t know what’s missing until you meet musician Wesley Heart. Why on earth he’s in my saloon, getting all friendly and cosy with me, I’ll never know. I’m just glad he did, then he takes me to his hotel and introduces his boyfriend. I was given a proposal that this minx just couldn’t refuse.

Hard to follow
I was glad it was just a short story. It was hard to follow the conversation from Mallory. I get the author wanted to put a texas slang I there but she fail in that attempt and making it hard to read or follow. If language would have been better it might have been easier to get into it

This was a wonderful story that starts around Christmas, but the holiday is not the focus. Singer, Wesley comes into Mallory's bar and there is an instant attraction, but Mallory believes Wesley is gay. He has been with actor, Andrew and she doesn't believe in coming between them. Later she finds out they are both pansexual and they both want her to join them....permanently.

It's that time of year and I just fancied a quick, hot, Christmas story. I got the quick and the hot (with a healthy dose of humor) but really it didn't have a Christmas flavor to it at all. Although the story was okay I did feel a little cheated and wondered if the author called it Christmas Trio just to sell a few more copies at this time of year.

At first I didn't know if I was going to like this book because of the fmc. I was pleasantly surprised! The relationship between the three of them was unique and did I mention smoking hot?! I hope this author writes more books like this in the future because WOW!

MMF but not really
I liked the story but I expected more of the real MMF parts. Apparently they happened but it was more of a not detailed memory, just it like 'oh it happened'. I was really disappointed because other scenes were wel written in detail.

This was a novella (only about fifty pages on kindle) which I liked okay. It was a freebie. It’s not really Christmasy at all. Basically just a far fetched premise for MMF steam. 🤷🏼♀️
