The Game Never Ends by Zaire Crown is book two in his The Game series, follow-up to Games Women Play. Though part of a series, it reads well as a standalone.

Tuesday Knight, former Detroit hood hustler, now lives in the lap of luxury in an affluent Hollywood suburb, as Tabitha King. She’s a mother of two and wife to the former drug kingpin now known as Marcus King. They’re living and loving big in their new legit life, until the past comes back with a vengeance. Is Tuesday going to be forced to return to her hood persona?

Zaire Crown has created a bit of magic in this continuation to his urban saga. His characters are strong, vibrant and believable. The urban scenery is utilized to it’s advantage. The dialogue is vivid and has enough humor to occasionally ease the tense interplay. The plot is a contemporary romance melded with urban warfare and a conspiracy theory. This is a story of betrayal, murder, revenge and greed that has you rooting for the bad guys. Or are they the good guys? The ending is shocking and expertly sets up for future installments. There is some explicit content, but it’s totally appropriate for the story. I thoroughly enjoyed The Game Never Ends. I rate it 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it to everyone who enjoys multicultural and/or urban fiction.

My thanks to Kensington Books and NetGalley for the opportunity to read an advance copy of this book. However, the opinions expressed in this review are 100% mine and mine alone.

The Game Never Ends by Zaire Crown was a very great breakout urban fiction novel for her readers!! I was quickly captivated by this novel. I faced many emotions while reading this book. My maternal side cried out at so many points in this book but it showed the residual damage of the street life.

Urban fiction has always been filled with gut wrenching scenes and this book did not fell me in that endeavor. Seeing Tuesday and Marcus attempt at walking away for the street life was commendable....so we thought but the street definitely have a way of pulling you back in.

Some of the scenes were a little too fictional for an fictional book for me but overall it was a really good read!! I look forward to Tuesday's next challenge with "The Game that Never Ends!"

I have to admit that although I cringe a hood stories with raunchy sex scenes, this page turner had me on the edge of my seat, with all the twists and turns and extreme action. I am eager to read The Games Women Play and more from Zaire!

I especially loved the the Play on Caine and Able and Marcus Vs King etc .. I hope others enjoy this book as much as I did! I deducted one star because of many unanswered queries and some of the rushed details glossed over by seductive scenes meant to distract the reader. I won't ruin this review with spoilers so I will let others find those holes themselves. Even still I devoured this book in no time

Marcus and Tuesday's marriage was unconventional. While she thought their marriage was safe, Tuesday learned she didn't know her husband at all. This was supposed to be their new life after starting over.
She made her share of mistakes, but they did not compare to what he did to his family. It's bad enough he has gone back to his old ways, but to involve his child is insane.

I had some doubts in the beginning, but after proceeding forward, I'm left wanting to know what finally happens.

There were some shocking and sad moments.

Married to a former kingpin and living under a new identify, Tuesday thinks all is well. But...someone want the newly built empire as their own.

From the days on the pole to living a beautiful home and having the latest designer threads, Tuesday is up against an epic endgame, as she fights to keep all that is dear to her.

I loved The Game Never Ends. It was fast-paced, engaging, and suspenseful. Brimming with an urban, gritty, and raw plot, the pace was addicting.

Highly recommended to all urban fiction fans!

But when an old acquaintance comes along demanding a piece of their legit pie. Marcus makes a decision that changes the course of their lives.
