We are now to the fourth Kringle sister who must find a husband before Christmas in Lucy’s McConnell’s adorable Marrying Miss Kringle series, or else Christmas magic will be in jeopardy (in this book, the North Pole is melting!) Only two Kringle sisters are still “single Kringles” (Robyn and Stella—who I can’t wait to read about) and they take Robyn on a dating show to see if they can match her with Mr. Right. Unfortunately, Robyn uses Christmas magic and quickly discovers all the potential Mr. Rights are Mr. Wrongs and outs them on TV (to excellent ratings—this was one of my favorite scenes.) However, Gabe, the security guard for the show, has a heart of gold, and has been struggling with raising his younger brother as both of them were in and out of foster care growing up. Robyn still has to get past the “fake dating” the show wants to put her through. This is a cute series if you enjoy lots of Christmas and a cute romance!
Robyn may be the stoic oldest sister but there’s a heart of marshmallow beneath that tough exterior. Gabe and his brother Nick are in desperate need for that spark that will finally turn them into a family in more than simply blood. Will Robyn be that elusive something they’re missing? And can these young men fill her heart and shore up the North Pole’s fluctuating Christmas spirit? I think this may be going to be my reaction to the whole series: “awe! That was just so sweet.” I thought Robyn and Gabe were pretty much perfect together, even though they kept trying to resist the pull to one another. I loved watching these two families pull together and I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for the last ‘Single Kringle’
A delightful, clean, and wholesome romance. Once again, Christmas Magic demands one of the unmarried Kringle sisters find true love. Robyn is the target in more than one way. She angered an unstable criminal during her first exposure on a dating show. She is in so much danger she is assigned a bodyguard and protector. A lot of contestants later, Robyn settles on her love yet he feels too unworthy. The end, while predictable in some manners, is wonderfully, quite unpredictable.
This clean, magical Christmas romance was a delight to read! Christmas magic is waning and the Kringles home, stables & work shop are melting at an alarming rate. In order to rectify it, one of the last 2 unmarried Kringles, Robyn & Stella, must marry before Christmas Eve. Robyn has been chosen to be the one. Can she find her true love before Christmas disappears forever? Of course she does but the path to true love is fraught with danger, a man who feels unworthy of her and an orphan teen who wants a real family. Lucy McConnell has such a way with story telling that will have you believing in Christmas magic!
I love the premise of this story. Christmas is at stake unless a daughter gets married to keep the magic intact.
Poor Robyn. She's been through so much. Lost her boyfriend. Lost out on being Santa. And home is melting. Enter the dating show to find true love and get married by Christmas Eve. We meet all the family and while following Robyn's story pick up bits and pieces of the other sisters stories. It got me excited to read the rest of the series.
Gabe and Robyn's story begins when Stella and Robyn come to the studio for Thirty Minute Mach. Gabe is Security and thinks Robyn is Sketchy. Stella talked her into finding a husband on this reality dating show. Robyn gets each of the men to reveal the truth about themselves. One even threaten to kill her if she tells anyone the truth about him. The show gets her a safe house and Gabe as her security guard. my twist and turns inside when Santa's daughter need a husband by Christmas Eve! Fun, Sad, Romantic and Christmas Magic!!!
Another installment in the Marrying Miss Kringle series. This one had a much more serious element to it even though the main focus was the romance. The intrigue was a catalyst to allow the love interests to spend more time together. It just got a little more serious than I anticipated. Still the love story is sweet and dramatic. I didn't much care for Robyn in the earlier books so I was happy to find her quite likable in this book. I'm looking forward to Stella's story.
This is a good addition to the Christmas series. It is fun with just the right amount of magical excitement. Robyn is the sister looking for love and a wedding before Christmas in this installment. When Greg, the security guard, is assigned to keep her safe when she is threatened, she feels the special magic of love. The problem is that he is not a believer. Will she be able to save Christmas and the North Pole?
I had a free copy of this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. Robyn is the daughter to marry before Christmas this year, but she doesn’t have a boyfriend, so she goes on a TV dating show, but her Santa sense tells her when folks are lying so the contestants are each knocked off before she goes on a date with them. She’d like to date the security guard who is protecting her. A great story!
I want to savor these books because I know I'm running out of Kringles, but I love them and end up binge reading them. Getting to truly know and understand Robyn and her heart and gifting was so special. The way she and her family almost immediately adopted Gabe and his brother was truly heartwarming. The dating game show was an interesting twist, as was the ending. Perfect story for Christmas.
Robyn is the oldest Kringle sister and has no marriage prospects in sight. Lux signs her up for a television show to help find her a husband.
When she falls for a security guard, everything falls apart because he can't give her the love she deserves. When he gets shot saving her life, it looks like Christmas is saved.... or is it? ~
Robyn’s character is not the typical romance book heroine, and Gabe was what she needed. I’m not a fan of reality show themes in romance books, but the author put an interesting twist on this one, and there wasn’t any of the typical stuff that comes with that theme. All in all, it was an enjoyable read.
Another wonderful installment of this series. I really like reading about Robyn because she was the one sister I hadn’t really felt connected to in the other books. Having her own book really made me appreciate her character even more.
Awesome addition to the series. Gabe and Nick will make an amazing family with Robyn. Can't wait for the last story in the series. I would recommend this story to any reader that enjoys clean Christmas romances.
The authors has made such a great Christmas series. I have loved each book. The characters and all their differences is fantastic a great afternoon read.
I absolutely loved this series. It is the perfect series to pick up in December. Each book tells the story of one of Santa’s daughters and her search for love. The author has added in so many details about the North Pole. The details totally get you into the Christmas spirit. I also love how different each sister is and how their stories are unique.
It's finally time for the eldest Kringle to find her true love--on a television game show. Unfortunately, she'd more attracted to the studio security guard than to any of the contestants they've selected for her. Gabe is too busy parenting his brother to make time for love or Christmas, but is drawn to Robyn regardless. His bother Nick is troubled and worried about finding a true home. The characters are endearing and it's so much fun to read the dialogue between Robyn and Gabe. He's so steady, cute and loyal. I liked seeing Robyn finally comfortable in her place, but wouldn't have minded seeing a little more of her struggle over losing the position of Santa she'd been groomed for. The jarring notes of the book came from editing, timing, and the antagonist Kyon. There were some missing letters and extra words--enough to be noticable, but not enough to ruin the story. The timeline was hard to follow because it felt like it took place in a week when the story and dialogue were telling me it was actually three weeks. The worst part was Kyon--he was more plot device than character, which is unusual for McConnell. I still don't understand his motivations for wanting Robyn dead--especially in such a public way. He's escaped justice for the murders he allegedly committed, but I don't understand why Robyn was really a threat to that. But aside from the one low note that was Kyon, I really enjoyed the book and found the same Christmas-happiness I always get when I read the Kringle novels. I love the joy that comes from reading the books--and the desire to share that loving joy with others.
Each Christmas Robyn's sisters have been able to save the North Pole by marrying their true love before Christmas. This year it's Robyn's turn, but she hasn't has much luck in the romance department lately. Her sister sets her up on a dating show. Robyn doesn't connect with any of the contestants but she died have sparks with the security guard, Gabe. Gabe liked Robyn, too, but feels like he's out of her league. Will they be able to overcome their fears of love and save the North Pole by Christmas? I really like this series about the Kringle sisters. Stella is the book sister. I'm looking forward to her story.I hope it comes before next Christmas.
I enjoyed reading Robyn's story. She's a fun character with her compulsive need to help people by handing out pastries, cocoa, & office supplies to the crew of the dating show (I want one of those Santa purses his daughters carry, by the way😉). I think this was a fun book all around. Great storyline, engaging characters, Christmas magic suspense, and a sweet romance... all very well-written. Couldn't have asked for more. I highly recommend this book.
It supposed to be her first but she still held out hope for her to find her true love and marry before Christmas. She was having such a hard time finding her true love but a dating game show? It was hilarious watching her go through all the contestants and by asking them questions, showed their true colors. The one guy watching out for her was Gabe and Robyn had definitely noticed him. This book was a great ending to a great series. Loved all the characters.
I love these stories!! They are so much fun. This one was a bit different, near deaths are not much fun. For a minute there it all looks hopeless. Unbelief is such a killer. Thank you for another great read. Can't wait for the next one. So far, have read and enjoyed them all.
Robyn was the eldest daughter of Santa. It was her turn to marry, even though she thought she should have been first. Her sister comes up with a wacky idea to find her a husband. Gabe a security guard was enchanted with Robyn the first time he saw her. Can he work up the nerve to go after her? Another fantastic book in the series.
What lengths would you go to in order to save Christmas? Would you get married in 30 days? Be a contestant on TV? Come along with Robyn Kringle as she tries to save Christmas. Tons of action, and suspense wrapped up in this thriller filled with heros, crazy villains, and plenty if Christmas cheer! I highly recommend this book! Happy Reading!
I love this series! I wanted to read this one at Christmas but I was too busy and didn’t have the chance now I am down with shingles and it was the perfect distraction for me. I loved Robyn’s story. I was kinda bummed there wasn’t more of an epilogue I wanted to know how the castle changed for them. But I loved it all the same and will be sad when this series concludes.
The latest book in the Kringle series is as magical as the rest. Christmas magic is fun and how the author makes it “real” is always a surprise. Give it a try- can be read alone but best in order- start with Ginger!
The crazy, fun spin on Christmas magic is amazing. The Kringle Family is quirky, magical, and adorable. This book is just as amazing as the rest and Stella’s story will be an amazing conclusion next year.
Although the end result is the same for all the sisters, get married by Christmas Eve, their stories are unique, entertaining and have great characters. I highly recommend this series.
Those Kringle sisters sure have a hard time finding their happily ever after! This time it's Robyn searching for her true love and she goes on a dating show to find him. Funny and sweet romance.
