From the moment Malachi was first mentioned in Say It Ain't So, I've wanted his story. Here was this brooding, powerful, broken man who was once a POW along with his friends, returned to a world he didn't quite fit into anymore. I needed to know him. And with this book, LLV brought this character to life in such spectacular ways.

Sierra and Malachi knew each other for years. It all started with a pen pal assignment in her English class. A voice from home that reached out to connect with a sol

Aaahhhh I can't believe there is only one more book in the series, I'm not ready, I need more. Malachi has definitely been the one I was most looking forward to and Lani didn't disappoint. Because Sierra was perfect for him.

From the minute I picked this up I couldn't put it down, I read it in one sitting (sorry, not sorry fam). The story and characters were just that good, it completely sucked me in and I had to know everything I could find out about them both. And see more of Grans crazy shenan

Malachi and Sierra were a good match from the beginning. I loved their origin and how their relationship grew. I’d been anticipating Malachi’s story for a while and felt LLV did a good job of fleshing him out. Their drama was largely internal and it worked well with Malachi’s backstory. Sierra was a caring heroine and matched our hero in her demeanor. There wasn’t as much humor or action as there typically is in a LLV read but I still quite enjoyed it.

Nobody Knows is the 11th book in Lani Lynn Vale’s KPD SWAT Generation 2.0 Series. I loved Malachi and Sierra's story. It is a unique story line with sweet and steamy writing. Sierra begins writing to Malachi in her high school english class through a pen pal soldier program. They immediately connected and is she is gutted when the letters stop not knowing what happened to him. She feared the worst but never really knew. Years later she receives a letter from him and they connect again b

Sierra's just a kid, a teenager, when she starts writing to Gabriel, a soldier deployed overseas. They write back and forth for years, becoming so much to each other. And then one day the letters stop coming and Sierra just knew in her heart that meant something was seriously wrong.

Gabriel's reality while deployed was harsh and brutal, but Sierra's letters brought him a semblance of home, some kind of light. She had come to mean so much t

4 Star Review Nobody Knows (Swat Next Generation 2.0 #11) by Lani Lynn Vale

Nobody Knows is the latest instalment in the Swat Next Generation series and this book had me invested from the first to the last chapter. This is Malachi and Sierra’s story and from start to finish Lani Lynn Vale wove a story that drew me in and kept me hooked until the end.

The blurb drew me in when I first read it and was an interesting take on a pen-pal relationship. I think it resonated with me because I had a pen p

The connections in this one are what interested me. I loved how Sierra and Malachi knew each other and didn't at the same time. I kept waiting for both of them to realize it and when they did it was great! So was the little nugget of info that Malachi laid down about activities with his friend Nathan, I knew how that would end up and I loved it, couldn't wait for it to come out. I could have done without the punk kid, who was pure evil with what he did and I feel for poor Zach. I would have made ...more

Holy crow! So much happened in this second to last book in the SWAT Generation 2.0 series!!

There were medical emergencies, fights with parents & other family members, shared heartfelt letters, an unfortunate incarceration, a hit & run investigation, a delightful sperm mix-up, ‘Final Destination sh*t’… *takes a deep breath* Don’t think you can put this book down to make dinner for your family because you WON’T & you CAN’T!

Malachi & Sierra were great together. I loved how their relationship start

I have wanted Malachi’s story.
What happened to him?
Where will he end up?
And I’m glad I got it.

Sierra is a strong-willed woman. She does what she wants, when she wants.
And she has decided she wants a child.
Even if she is doing it on her own.

Malachi is kind of lost.
He’s got a good job and good friends.
But is this what he really wants to do?

Sierra and Malachi end up coming together in the beginning of the book because they decided to pretend to be together because she is pregnant.

Nobody Knows is Book #11 in SWAT Next Generation 2.0 by Lani Lynn Vale. This is Malachi /Gabriel and Sierra’s story and wowza! what a story it is! Sierra started writing to Malachi while in high school and he was deployed overseas. It was part of a pen pal program that Sierra kept up until the letters just stopped coming from him...then several years later, the letters start back up.
Malachi is new to town after being a POW and he is getting reacquainted to life on the outside. Sierra is dealing

Lani Lynn Vale is a master with her words, a manipulator of hearts, and y'all, what. a. book. What. A. Journey. Nobody Knows is the eleventh book, a standalone, in the SWAT Generation 2.0 series and ugh, I think Sierra and Malachi might just be my new favorite LLV couple to date.

Pen pals in the start to something more, something so much deeper. Malachi and Sierra will put you through quite the paces but y'all, what they give, so very worth it.

I have been waiting for Malachi’s story for a long time and Lani Lynn Vale made it worth the wait. Nobody Knows is nothing like I was expecting but everything I love in a romance! It’s a sweet romance with a little drama, many twists, and the right amount of heat.

Sierra is definitely a quirky, hilarious LLV heroine with a family who are a bit nosey. Malachi, manages to be sweet and caring in spite of all he has been through. Secondary character of note is Grans she is awesome and actua

Nobody Knows started with the letters—I so love when all that chapters offers is letters and nothing at all. (And that was a sarcasm.)—but later on, the letters got mixed in with the actual story and started to enjoying them much, much more.

I just loved this book so fucking much.

There has never been a point where this author hasn't gone above and beyond my expectations for a story. It's why she is my favourite. I don't say it to kiss ass or be biased it's just a fact for me. She has a unique style of writting that I've loved since way back 2013ish. We all have them kind of author's right? The ones we blindly follow and trust impeccably because you know they never fail you. that's her for me. I have purchased EVERY book she's releas

Okay, this book blew me away! I mean there was so many things I felt during this particular one. First of all, I have been waiting for Malachi's story for a while. He was once a POW along with his friends. One friend was mistaken for him when he was found and when Malachi was actually found and rescued he came back a broken man. One who isn't sure where he fits into the world any longer.

This story could have been so sad and so broken but I loved that Lani Lynn Vale gave us a story that allows us

5 They’re Perfect for Each Other Stars!!!

As this series has progressed this year, we’ve gotten glimpses of Malachi but they’ve really been surface only in that it’s just not talked about what he went through while he was a POA. And Sierra has snippets in a couple of books although we got to know her a little bit more in her brother Sammy’s book. But in this book we get all the fabulousness that is Malachi and Sierra.

Their relationship started innocently enough and seeing their friendship bui

Unbeknownst to them, Sierra and Malachi’s story started many years ago when a high school student and a military pen pal grew closer to one another with every letter . . . until those letters stopped without a word for more than two and a half years.

During those two and a half years, Malachi had been a tortured POW, and Sierra had become a nurse in the NICU. Now, they are both In the same town without realizing it, and the letters begin again. It’s one of the few things keeping Malachi hanging o

I have wanted to read Malachi’s story since he was introduced. And this story didn’t disappoint. I enjoyed reading his story from start to finish.
I loved that we got to read on how they knew each other. And getting to read their letters they wrote.

OMG! I absolutely loved this story from beginning to end. The story was simply perfect! I have to say that I smiled throughout the entire story.

When she was a teenager Sierra began exchanging letters with Malachi, a solider who was serving overseas, and what started out as an obligation turned into a friendship. When the letters ended she was devastated as she knew he wouldn’t stop corresponding without a reason but she was even more surprised when the letters began a few years later.

Malachi’s experiences have left him emotionally scarred as even though he started a new life and has found a supportive group of friends and is working for

Awe! It was so cute. There was some not so cute moments, moments where my heart ached for these characters but I know that LLV wouldn’t wound me too bad. Malachi was everything I hoped he would be. He was just sweet to Sierra. He was gruff with everyone else but with her he could be open. Sierra was so strong. Everything that she went though in this book was at times hard to read, but she pulled up her big girl panties and just did what she had to do.

The banter between the characters was great.

Malachi and Sierra were pen-pals when he was in the Army and she was assigned the project her Junior year during her English class. They formed a friendship that lasted past her assignment date. When she didn't hear from Malachi for a couple of years, she had a feeling something bad had happened to him. Fast forward to the present and they find themselves in contact again.

In typical LLV style, there is more going on that what appears at first. It seemed a bit far-fetched (to say the least) that

Loved this! These stories are easy to read, intriguing, heartwarming, sexy and always surprising.

"A flaming hot man that I knew that I should stay away from."

Sierra started exchanging letters with Gabriel, a deployed soldier, when she was still in high school and carried on after she left. Until, one day, the letters suddenly stopped arriving. She never forgot him. Two years later, her life is about to change dramatically, and she finally receives a new letter from Gabriel. Imagine her surprise
