Too biblical

I was surprised I did not enjoy this book as I anticipated. I love faith based reads and really was excited to read the laws for success coming from a Christian background. However, the writing style didn’t line up. It was nice that it felt somewhat conversational, but there were too many short stories and random references that didn’t go with the flow of the biblical teachings. I enjoyed the Bible verses and Bible stories mentioned. Unfortunately, there were so few of them it felt more like personal and political talk. Which some may like, but it really made it hard for me to get into. As short and small as this book was, it took me forever to finish it. I only read pages at a time, it didn’t hook me like I thought it would.

Ten Laws for Success is an encouraging, enlightening, and inspiring book. I enjoyed reading this book and if you work the principles based on the Biblical scriptures, you will succeed in life.
