Secrets, Lies, Sexy Guys and Spies.

This was a good story and super sexy. It was pretty quick read at 159 pages, but not so short as to be missing any story points. I didn’t think I would like some of the intimate scenes since the blurb mentions that Sebastian Stone introduces Vanessa Lang into steamy encounters in public places. However, they are very hot and they are sort of semi-public, but I found them extremely entertaining. I suppose all steamy encounters in public places are really

I’ve been reading a mile a minute this month and have totally forgotten to review as I go on a lot of books, so here goes …

The entire time I was reading this story I was happy. Happy because another new-to-me author exceeded by expectations. Happy because even though this story is short; it is not lacking. Could there be more development in areas? Sure, but the story is not lacking. Let me repeat lol not lacking. I loved Vanessa and Sebastian both from the moment they hit the page. Their story

Start to finish, this book is full of witty remarks and laugh-out-loud moments. The main character, Vanessa, is smart and sensitive, yet she doesn't take herself too seriously. She's dealing with the loss of someone important to her while supervising a mother who has a troubling compulsion. When Vanessa accepts a job at Stone Corp, San Francisco's most coveted investment company, she has no way of knowing how much romance and intrigue await her. As the story progressed, I grew more attached to ...more

I like the concept of this book, the romance wasn't forced, the chemistry was there and the writing style was great, if a had a problem with this book it would be my usual one, this book was short so I didn't get the development that a wanted but other than that it was a great and enjoyable read.
Dily - Little Love.
I really liked the concept of this book, and the characters were intriguing. I loved Vanessa and Sebastian together. However, I was hoping for more of a gradual connection between Vanessa and Sebastian, perhaps more of a personal insight to them as individuals.
I found the initial meeting, and deal between Vanessa and officer Herouvim odd. I feel as though there could’ve been more of an explanation as to how Herouvim came to find out about Vanessas new place of employment, and more insight into

Well, I have to admit, this one had me at hello. The moment the two main characters bump into each other in the first pages I was hooked. I freely admit that men with emerald eyes and raven hair are my kryptonite. Then later finding out he had one of my favourite names too...well…clearly destined to become my latest fictional crush. And he did not disappoint!

Etched in Stone is written well and flows nicely. It captured my attention and made me want to know what came next. There are also plenty of naughty moments that will definitely hold your attention.

Sebastian, himself, is one heck of a dirty talker and I could love him on this alone. I loved the corny banter between him and Vanessa. It was cute and so them.

With that being said however, I found the relationship between Vanessa and Sebastian rushed. The fall into love for them is not gradual, it’s

A debut novel, Etched in Stone, was a quick and fun read. At 159 pages long, the story moves quickly but steadily. The meet cute made me both cringe and giggle. I loved the puns and one-liners. Vanessa and Sebastian were likable and relatable, as were most of the characters. The relationship was evenly paced, sweet, and held just the right amount of steam for the length of the book. The secondary characters were fleshed out well enough to add depth to the story and allow for the “showing” of ...more

Great hook! Wow I really need to hang out in the change rooms a little more often!!!

And a fab read. Vanessa has landed a new job with a total hottie but she has also landed into a big mess thanks to her mother.

Etched in Stone had everything that I want in a contemporary romance. Action, intrigue, racy bits, sweet romance and over the top drama!
Thoroughly enjoyed it and looking forward to the next (I see its a series).

This book was funny and heartbreaking all at the same time. Vanessa is sweet and has a taste for bad puns which seems to make her a great fit for Sebastian and his bad but funny puns. This book had me laughing and wanting to finish as soon as I could to find out how it ends. Vanessa has been through so much and she gets lost along the way between what she wants and what she feels she has to do. I have received a free copy of this book for an honest review.

Etched in Stone by Liv Arnold is the perfect pallet cleanser after reading a dark romance or ugly cry book. It is a short and sweet office erotic rom-com with a bit of drama to help keep you entertained. Our MC is Vanessa who just graduated and ready to enter the world of adulting. Vanessa, you should have gone to school longer! Don’t venture out into the adulting world yet! No, JK, Vanessa is a selfless character that likes to help everyone and seems to be the type that anyone can open up to. ...more

The prologue provides a great help of how this story is about to flow. However, the great parts are on the details inside. An unforgettable romance is

This is a cute little romance of the 50SOG ilk. Vanessa Lang is a new graduate planning to use her skills in Investment Banking. She incidentally (or not) has a mother with a penchant for shoplifting when she's stressed.
When Vanessa bumps into a hotty in the change rooms of a store near her new place of employment, she has no idea who he is. But there's an immediate buzz that is swamped by Vanessa's embarrassment. Excellent meet cute.

There are things that I truly enjoyed about this book and some that just didn't jive with me the way I'd hoped (though it's more personal complaints than complaints that will resonate with everyone).

What I really liked: the banter between the characters, the natural sounding dialogue, and Arnold's way of writing in general. I actually laughed at some of the witty comments that characters made to one another and I loved that the

Vanessa’s developed a habit of running into her boss in varying stages of undress; not exactly the good impression she wanted to create when she began her dream job with his company. Given she’s beginning her career on a secret mission to destroy his livelihood to save her mother, things are about to get a lot messier.

She’s already forming meaningful friendships with two of her fellow workers, her mother’s driving her crazy, and before she knows what’s hit her, Sebastian is driving her wild with

When I read novels such as Etched in Stone, the 50 Shades of Gray trilogy, or even the sweet, not steamy hallmark movies, I need to immediately suspend some belief. Indulgent erotica romances have to have everything work in their favor, that is just how it is. Put away the fact that our adorable main character has a klepto mother who is a handful, JUST graduating college, has already interviewed for her dream job that has a too young too perfect boss at its helm, and said business, Stone Corp, ...more
