Rate this book
College Algebra provides students who need a solid understanding of algebra with an excellent start. It encourages student understanding of algebra through the use of modelling techniques and real-data applications. Although it is optional, the use of technology in the text is carefully integrated throughout. The 4th edition continues in this vein with completely updated data and a new student CD-ROM packaged with every text. Highlights of this fourth edition - Updated! Chapter Openers and Chapter Projects - Section Openers now include a set of learning objectives for each section - Chapter P has been streamlined and moved to the appendix (Appendix A) - Real Data Application examples have been updated or replaced with new applications - Technology Boxes rewritten in order to be more generic in the third edition - Exercise Sets Changes include new (or additional) skill exercises and updated applications - Chapter Summaries have been rewritten to link the section objectives to the Review Exercises

I can't wait until I'm done with this class- just one more chapter test, a few homework assignments, and the final- and I will be done with math classes for the rest of my life! (probably).

Seriously, I'm writing a review for a College Algebra book? I hated algebra but if you have to take it, this book isn't too painful in explaining it to us haters.
