Wow!!! Trixie Silbertale has done it again by bringing another fantastic addition to the Mitzy Moon Series! I didn’t think it was possible for this series to get even more addicting & fun but it did.😍 I love everything about this series but the characters truly make this story shine.🎆 I love Pyewacket & Ghostma and how they bring a unique charm to the series. I also swoon over Erik!💖 #bookboyfriend I definitely can’t forget about the main character whom I can relate to in so many ways and I just love her sassy, snarky, & clumsy self. The story captures your attention from the first page and won’t let up until your at the end craving for the next book! The ending made me so happy and I really can’t wait!! I highly recommend this book and series to anyone looking for a great read that will leave you smiling and full of laughter.❤

Once again Mitzy is on a quest for the truth to a murder in her town to save someone she loves and this time it might end up being her own life that needs saved if she gets too close to the truth! A fire, a murder, a broken leg and a massive snow storm are all on the agenda in this book and you won't want to miss one entertaining minute of it as the audiobook once again does not disappoint! The narrator really helps bring the characters to life and give each a unique personality that will have you laughing along with! The relationships being built among the characters is getting deeper all the time as well so you won't want to miss this book at all! If you haven't started this series yet, then you definitely need to get on it as you're missing out on the fun! So far, I've enjoyed the first 4 books via audiobook and hope that there are more!

Trixie Silvertale has really caught her groove now, I truly love this series, and it's characters there is something so likeable about Mitzy Moon and the motley crew in Pin Cherry Harbor, her dad Jacob and Ghost Ma, Isadora Duncan (her deceased grandmother who with the help of the wonderful Alchemist/Lawyer Silas is now living as a ghost in the home she left for Mitzy on her death) Odell Johnson, Isadora's first husband and owner of Myrtle's Diner (Mitzy's go to place to eat!) and of course Robin Pyewacket Goodfellow the opinionated Caracal that Mitzy inherited along with Isadora's Bookshop and fortune.
When the building next to Mitzy is burnt to the ground, and a body found inside she is worries, but when Sheriff Eric ties the building to her dad, then all bets are off! Using her growing powers of clairvoyance she inserts herself into the investigation, much to Erics dismay and instruction! Will she find the killer before the Sheriff and how will she explain knowing the things she does? But Mitzy will not allow her father to be fingered for a crime he didn't do!

This is Mitzy's most exciting adventure yet, (even if it does include high stakes scrabble, who new!!)

This book is so good, this is proper edge of the seat stuff! The mystery flows well, there are clues and red herrings a plenty, and though there is supernatural elements to the storyline it does not rely on them like some books do in this genre. The who dunnit is exceptionally well thought out, from beginning to end.
The characters are well developed now I have come to really love Mitzy, she may give off a hard edge and snark but inside her vulnerability from her past, having lost her mum at a young age and believing that she was an orphan, and growing up in care, comes through. She is now slowly coming to see all of these people in Pin Harbor as her family and if anyone messes with her family well then, they mess with Mitzy!
I would love to learn more about Twiggy and how it is she works for Mitzy for free, I don't think I have seen Mitzy put in a days work at either the bookshop or the museum she owns, I would also like to know more about the printing museum attached to the bookshop, it is mentioned but never really expanded on.

This is book 4 in the series and if this is the first time you have come across the Mitzy Moon series, I highly recommend starting at book 1 Fries and Alibis, I promise you won't regret it!

This series is such a surprise for me. When I read the first book, I wasn’t so sure about Mitzy. But every book has been solid! This book is no different, except to endear Mitzy to me even more!
Mitzy starts out a troubled girl, a bit rough around the edges. Foster care will do that to you. But now that she is settling in to her inheritance, has found her family and friends, she is overcoming her childhood. I love this series so much! Every book shows positive growth in Mitzy. Her love for her family reminds those of us who have been lucky, just how lucky we are. For those of us with family that left us yearning for love, well, she reminds us that family can be who you want it to be and it’s never too late to acquire one. Her romantic life seems to be getting a boost. Though that might get tricky as there may be two fellers in the running. I enjoy this storyline more than I should for a cozy mystery. The mystery. Ah, the mystery! Very well done. As with each of the books, the mystery is completed by the end of the book. I really found this mystery to be interesting. I like how it played out. I don’t want to say much about it so your enjoyment isn’t ruined. Though I do want to talk about it. Ah, the problem of a good book! Go. Read the book. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I chose to read this book after receiving a free e-copy from the author. All opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased. I read Fries & Alibis, Tattoos & Clues, and Wings & Broken Things, the first three books in this series, and I really enjoyed them, so I was happy to read this book when it was available.

Mitzy Moon seems to attract trouble. With her psychic gifts, she’s good at figuring out mysteries and is usually one step ahead of the sheriff. Unfortunately, being one step ahead often puts her in danger.

Mitzy finally has a family since she inherited her grandmother’s bookstore. She’s getting to know Grams in her ghostly form and is finally getting to know her father. The more Mitzy Moon books I read, the more I enjoy the characters. Mitzy is clumsy, smart, and hilarious. Grams is a force of nature and continues to learn more about being a ghost. The two truly love each other already. Mitzy’s dad, Jacob, has made mistakes in the past but Mitzy is thrilled to have him in her life, and they’re getting to know each other.

When the building next to the bookstore goes up in fire, Gram’s friend and Mitzy’s lawyer and mentor, Silas, ends up in the hospital. Then a body is found in the rubble, and Jacob is the number one suspect. Of course, Mitzy is determined to clear her father to the exasperation of the sexy sheriff. Luckily, he is beginning to get used to Mitzy interfering and even helping with cases. He does have to be on his toes, though, because she’s always getting herself into dangerous situations.

These books are quick and fun reads. Each book builds on the last ones and they’ve become must-reads for me. I definitely recommend Sparks & Landmarks, as well as the other books in the series. I can’t wait for the next Mitzy Moon mystery!

What can I say but that these cozy mystery cases are really addictive and so much fun to read as they are filled with a lot of humour and sardonic wit, and a touch of romance. Mitzy Moon is at it once again, she seems to be a magnet for trouble and this time trouble hits right next door to her beloved bookshop. Arson was not on the cards for Mitzy but this added to a break-in at her shop, and a sheriff who is pointing accusing fingers at her dad, make her take up her detective skills and her psychic powers to prove her father innocent. She tries as usual to do this on her own and continues to struggle with her dangerous seeking for clues even when she is on crutches and is risking her very own life. Having once been an orphan she was not ready to lose her newly found father Jacob, or her inherited bookshop or her beloved and interfering ghost ma Isadora, so she literally fights with tooth and claw, and is once again saved by literally her tooth and claw side-kick, the beautiful sentient caracal Pyewacket who came with the shop. These whodunnit mysteries set in Pie Cherry Harbour, are similar to the great Agatha Christy's works but with a snarky, lusty heroine thrown in the mix, so how can a reader resist?

Another fun mystery in the series. I enjoyed investigating along with Mitzy and watching her, broken leg and all, figure out who the guilty party was. What I like more, however, is the growing relationship between Mitzy and her dad and how they are getting to know each other after all this time. Add in the humor with her grandmother and her potential love interests – I’m not a fan of love triangles but this hasn’t quite gotten there yet – and there’s just so many things that keep me coming back to this series. Looking forward to the next.

How many ways can I entice those of you that haven’t read a book of Trixie’s to give it a read? You find warmth, laughter, some romance and family for a orphan girl who was barely making a living before fate changed her fortunes.

I love her books and am her biggest fan but I’m sure all her fans have the same opinion. You must really give her first book Fries and Alibis a read so you can read all her books because believe me you will not want to stop! Before you know it you will have finished this book as well and will be anxiously awaiting the next book like the rest of us!

Trixie is such an accomplished writer. The humor is to die for and you’ll find yourself smiling and chuckling at the antics of Mitzy, Ghost Grams, Twiggy and the ever loving Pyewacket! Of course I can’t leave out the poor long suffering Sheriff Harper! They will all become your best friends in Pin Cherry Harbor.

Mitzy is immersed in trying to solve some shady dealings at the Bingo hall and a murder as well. Just another day for her but she finds herself somewhat hampered by snow and crutches which make it a little difficult to get around in the winter time!

I love these Mitzy Moon books! I love everything about them from good old reliable Silas, my favorite ghost grandma, sweet Odell, the too hot to
Hand sheriff Erick and of course you can’t forget snarky Twiggy the employee who doesn’t want money and is always there with a comment. Our is an adorable pet and is always in the right place at the right time to look out for Mitzy I love that she’s so protective of her dad and visa versa! Nothing better than an orphan finding out she has family! The town of Pin Cherry Harbor is an ideal setting in near Canada. The weather is like another character in the book! It sounds like the perfect place to live.
In this one the building next door is on fire and a body is found inside. The sheriff automatically assumes that Jacob did it. So Mitzy goes ahead to prove how mistaken he is. I love that Erich is finally giving in to Mitzy. With Valentines Day approaching things are heating up. I loved the original storyline and the twists and turns. I also love that things were put right and the real criminals were caught and the “innocent “ cleared. I look forward to reading the next book in the series!

It’s Valentine’s Day, but the weather is horrible out. Mitzy was hoping to have a Valentine's date, but it seems someone else has something else in mind. Mitzy’s father is once again being framed for something he didn’t do, Mitzy has to help solve the murder before she loses her father again. Once again very entertaining story and great characters. Mitzy’s grandmother’s ghost is learning how she can help Mitzy in the human world so she is becoming a bigger presence in the plot-lines.

I listened to the audio version of this book. The narrator makes the book leap off the pages. I really enjoyed this way she brings the characters to life.

All thoughts and opinions are my own, and in no way, I have been influenced by anyone.

Can this books keep getting better? Yes they can.

I'm totally hooked on Mitzy Moon and all the characters in Pin Cherry Harbor. The author has created a fictional place which has come to life.
As usual, trouble is never far away and when the building next door to Mitzy is up in flames while she sleeps, things get a little too hot! A body is found in the charred remains and things aren't looking good for Jacob. The young sleuth's father is the prime suspect in what turns out to be the murder of a local man.
Nothing is as it seems as Miss Moon finds herself in all sorts of peril trying to clear her dad's name while never quite being able to reveal all her sources.
Sizzling away in the background, be it on a simmering pot is the Sheriff working along the same lines as the sleuth with her paranormal aides.
Another cracking story which is a must read with great plots and an unfolding back story.

What a great book!

I have come to really love the characters of this series. Mitzy of course, with her tough-as-nails attitude but with her big heart. Ghost-ma who remains such a favorite of mine. Pyewacket, the caracal, who plays a very important role, and whose powers are developing. I just love Pye! Silas who becomes more and more dear to me. Twiggy with her cackles. And Odell - gotta love Odell; I love no-nonsense people. Oh and I almost forgot Dad! The ex-con, which makes some people automatically suspicious. This is a great series and I am so glad I discovered it. This one would work fine as a standalone; the mystery stand on its own perfectly and the personal details are well explained (but not too long for series-readers).

In this book, the first case Mitzy has to solve is a case of cheating at bingo. Bingo? Yes, bingo! Of course there’s more, way more. A big fire next door, an evacuation - but what about Grams?! She’s tied to the bookstore! A fast-paced, breathtakingly suspenseful, surprising mystery that was clever and full of humor. Mitzy still has so much to learn - like people skills lol. I was so immersed in the story, that I actually thought about how I’d still have to shovel snow - in the book there’s a lot of snow, but here none. None! That’s how real it felt! Great book!!!

Mitzy Moon is a series about an orphan early twenty something who suddenly finds herself with a doting dad, ghost granny, giant cat, clairvoyant ability and a host of friendships she never dreamed possible. Shortly after finding out she is an heiress who is the proud new owner of a bookstore, she moves to Pin Cherry Harbor and begins her life as a klutzy super sleuth who gets on the nerves of the local sheriff.

In Sparks and Landmarks, Mitzy sets out to solve the mystery of the bingo fraudster for her employee Twiggy, and she winds up front in center of a blaze beside her bookstore and with her trusted scooby sidekicks (ghost granny, alchemist Silas, twiggy and caracal) sets out to prove to the town her dear old dad didn’t do it.

Before I received this ARC, I actually had the first book in this series, Fries and Alibis in my Kindle to reads. The premise of the series seemed like it was right up my alley. I am happy to report, that it definitely was. While this read did take a bit for me to get into, most likely due to not having read the previous books in the series, I would definitely read it again. This is one of those series that is the perfect combination of humor, mystery, romance, and the supernatural.

Mitzy is the type of character you wish was your best friend. Ms. Silvertale weaves a wonderful world in Pin Cherry Harbor, one full of wonderful characters you can’t wait to meet. I am all ready amped to travel back in the next Mitzy Moon Mystery.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Mitzy has settled well into life in Pin Cherry Harbor. Learning to drive in the snow (you use a Jeep for that, not a classic convertible!), checking out the hot sheriff, and wondering where her new beau is traveling. Not to mention learning that BINGO can be awfully competitive!
When the vacant building next to her bookstore goes up in flames, Mitzy has a vision of a dead body, but whose? This fire hits a little too close to home for Mitzy as her Ghost-ma is 'trapped' in the bookstore, which could have caught fire as well. As usual, Mitzy can't stop herself from investigating, especially once her dad becomes a person of interest.
I am really enjoying this new series. All of the characters (and they really are characters) in the book are well developed. I can't wait to see what's up next in Pin Cherry Harbor!

Once you try this series your hooked.
I love these Mitzy Moon books! I am completely hooked! I anxiously await the release of each new book in this fun, heartwarming series. Sparks and Landmarks is an amazing book. I have come to really love the characters of this series. The story telling keeps getting better with each book. I cannot wait to see how things in Pin Cherry Harbor in a small town 400 miles north of everywhere continue to develop. The story telling keeps getting better with each book. I have enjoyed getting to see how all the characters are growing and becoming entangled in each other's lives. So much action in this book. Very fast paced and funny, I simply loved this book. I couldn't put it down. I can’t wait for the next one, I’ve already preordered it.

In Sparks and Landmarks, the 4th book in the Mitzy Moon series, Mitzy is again faced with a threat to her newly found family when a fire burns down the building next to the Bell, Book and Candle (her recently inherited bookstore). When a body is found in the rubble, her father becomes the prime suspect in murder and arson. Mitzy’s emerging paranormal powers are called into action and a great fast-paced story follows. This is my favorite book so far in this series! I love the snarky orphan turned heiress Mitzy, and all the other characters: her ghost-ma; her lawyer/alchemist, Silas; her dad; and all the others. I can’t wait for the next book!

This is the 4th book in the series and I've read them all; I do believe they would all work as stand-alones, though. I enjoyed this well-written, charming book--the mysteries are fun and the characters are hilarious. Mitsy Moon is the main character, and she's likable and bright as she learns more about her powers and how to use them. This is great escapism and even timely, since Valentine's Day is part of the setting. I definitely recommend this fun series. I was provided an arc of the book, but these opinions are my own.

Another fun book following Mitzy. I have to say that her and the Sheriff's relationship should be further along by now on book 4. It is fun to watch Mitzy's powers become more. This time around Mitzy try and saves her dad from being accused of murder. Between her luck, magic and insight she helps the Sheriff crack the case. Though she does get herself in trouble as always.

I have enjoyed this entire series thus far, and this book is no exception.

I felt that this book really allowed the reader to see the connection and love Mitzy shared with her family, which helps the reader relate to her on a deeper level. I also enjoyed the overall plot of the book because I found it was, yet again, interesting and fresh. Every time I read one of the books in this series, I feel like I am reading something that hasn't been done before. That is exciting in itself because sometimes things can be overplayed and leave you longing for more. Although I would say I want more from this series, it is not because it is lacking in anything it is because I want more to read!

I think this book and series are developing in a way that keeps the reader entertained and laughing. I love the mix of humor throughout, and with the deeper attachments to the characters forming, I think this series just keeps getting better and better.

I loved Sparks and Landmarks! The storytelling was fast-paced and exciting; the characters continue to grow into multifaceted, interesting people; Pin Cherry Harbor is still a charming setting; and the mystery kept me on my toes.
Sparks and Landmarks gives readers plenty of time with the winsome, eccentric, and entirely loveable supporting cast of characters: Ghost-ma, Pyewacket, Silas, and Sheriff Eric are particularly delightful. It was fun to see Mitzy have more interactions with Twiggy and Odell, as well. Mitzy's dad has a meaty role in the story - I love their dynamic and always want to see what will happen next with them.
The mystery that lands in Mitzy's lap starts with arson and very nearly becomes murder. The stakes are high for Mitzy because her dad is the number one suspect. She knows he is innocent - proving it is difficult and dangerous - especially when she has to rely on Ghost-ma and Pyewacket to help her save the day.

En brand, en död kropp, underground-spel. Det är några av sakerna som avhandlas i denna del i serien. Det är dessutom Alla Hjärtans dag mitt i alltihop.

Mysig, spännande och rolig som alltid.

Ms. Silvertale has provided her readers with another delightful cozy mystery. Mitzy and the gang (I love Ghostma) are back investing a murder after the building next to the bookstore is burned down and a body is found inside. Who is it and why was he murdered? It looks as if Mitzy's father will go back to prison for the crime he didn't commit. Or did he? Mitzi's clumsiness gives her an advantage when she falls, literally, into a clue and she receives several visions. I am looking forward to the next book in this series....especially what looks to be the advancing romance between her and the handsome Erick.

I am so enjoying this series and this book is no disappointment. Mitzy wakes to find the building next to hers is on fire. Apparently there was someone inside the building when it burns to the ground. Mitzy's father becomes a suspect and of course Mitzy sets out to prove his innocence. Along the way she breaks her ankle and at the same time makes important discoveries. She can't let her father go down for something he didn't do.

2020 bk 211. It's Valentine's Day - but all of that is forgotten when the building next door burns to the ground and Mitzy senses a body, but whose. A burglar in a bookstore doesn't steal, but rather brings the clue to whose body - but also a world of problems for Mitzy and her family. Mitzy comes more to terms with her powers and begins to use them more effectively in this, the 4th book in the series. Pin Cherry continues to be a delightful town filled with amazing characters.
