Simple rhymes and bold illustration enhance this delightful tale about two children and their exciting day spent playing in the snow. 25,000 first printing.
Used this book during our Winter week in Pre-K. It was read with another book of the same name. We did a comparison of the books and everyone agreed that they liked this book better. The illustrations were more cartoony for the children and they liked the way the words sounded. " go go kick up snow, snowflakes cold flakes blow blow blow"
This is now on my list of books to use for the Winter theme for future years.
A very easy read for a younger child. This book only has a few words on each page and they could read them easily. It has very realistic pictures that the children could relate to, if they have ever played in the snow.
