I enjoyed this book thoroughly. All of the Super Rabbit Boy books have been pretty solid, but this one introducing time travel really started some interesting conversations between me and my 3- and 5-year-olds. It's already meta, what with the majority of the narrative being a video game in the frame of two young kids in the "real world". I tell my children about this every time we read, and emphasize the correlations between the two worlds, but I'm not sure if it's really getting through. In this book, adding the time travel, it's a very entertaining read on many levels, for many different age groups. As far as literary value... I don't know. It's very entertaining and engaging, with funny characters, and a lesson is learned. Me and my girls are reading more than we ever have before since we starting reading these!

This is the first one in the serious that I just think wasn't great. A little confusing for my kids as well as over the top, without flowing well together.

Review from my seven-year-old
“ I like the video game theme in this book, and I like bunnies, which makes it the perfect book for me! I want to read more books in the series”

So - I'm not sure why, but my 5 year old was convince this was going to be the least favorite of the three books we got from the Easter Bunny - but it was not. It's probably the favorite.

Super Rabbit boy is going back in time to save himself when he was a baby and preserve his super powers. The various King Vikings and Super Rabbit Boys are amazing. The illustrations are fabulous. We all LOVED this book. Thanks Easter Bunny!

This was the first chapter book my six-year-old Calvin has read to me. This book came out around when the newest Dog Man book came out, so Calvin got this one, and his older brother got the Dog Man book. I've read most if not all of the super Rabbit Boy books, and this one had some neat elements that I enjoyed. So thankful for this series for my video-game-loving boys!

2025 - read again, this time to my 3yo son Chance. Kind of odd with all the versions of Super Rabbit Boy and King Viking.
