Siblings Fritz and Franny have fun trying all the rides at the amusement park in this early reader!
Get ready to ride! Fox siblings Fritz and Franny -- and their faithful dog, Fred -- are spending the day at the amusement park. After sizing up the tallest, fastest, and loudest rides they can find, these foxes come together on the perfect coaster.

The Acorn books are always a hit with my students and this one will continue that trend. It is straightforward and relatable -- kids want to go on the fastest, tallest, "best" roller coaster, until they get close to it and realize that maybe that's not the "best" roller coaster for them. And the illustrations communicate the excitement and anxiety really well, which will make it even easier for early readers to understand. As a reader, it also does a great job introducing comparative and superlative adjectives. Will definitely be adding it to my shelves.
Thank you to Edelweiss+ and the publisher for providing a digital copy. All opinions are my own.
This cleverly written tale stars three members of the Fox family: Brother and sister Fritz and Franny. Plus there's Fred, their adorable dog.
Since this cast of characters is going to spending a whole day at an amusement park, guess what?
Of course! They're figuring out which rides will be the tallest, the fastest, the loudest rides they can find. Moving toward the climax of the story, suspense builds. Trepidation grows.
Have you ever been to an amusement park, Goodreaders? Then, like me, you'll be able to identify with what happens next.
I've been there. No wonder I'm giving this book FIVE STARS.

Wow. What a fun ride! I love following Fritz and Franny as they learn that bigger isn't always better (and neither is faster and louder).
This is going to be such a fun hit for beginning readers and is full of lots of repetition to encourage independent reading. Fun illustrations are going to help pull this one into a must-have series for library shelves.
Fritz and Franny and Fred go to the amusement park. Fritz and Franny can't agree which ride to go on, until they find the fastest, tallest, loudest ride. But is that ride really what they want to go on?
There are a lot of superlatives in this one, which might make it a good book for kids studying those words. It's a nice easy read, graphic novel picture book that will resonate with lots of kids who think they want to go on a ride at a park until they get to the front of the line.
Fritz and Franny are at an amusement park! They take their dog Fred to find the fastest, tallest, and loudest ride. While waiting in line for the roller coaster, they start to debate if Fred will like the ride....
The Fox Tails series is cute and I hope my library will purchase the next one when it is released!
Fritz and Franny get in line for the biggest and fastest ride at the amusement park. They stay there until they realize they don't want to go on the biggest and fastest ride. They go around the amusement park until they find the ride that is just right for them.
