The Mother of all RPG Comedies! At Shiraaase's request, Masato, his party, and-of course-his mother have journeyed to Maman Village. There, they learn that a demon known as the Queen of the Night is demanding a human sacrifice from the townspeople and offer to help in the hopes of getting a rewa?-er, out of the goodness of their hearts. But before they go demon-slaying, will they be able to soak their troubles away in a mixed-bathing hot spring...?!
Beware the Queen of the Night for she is a Mom-ath challenge!
After the trial of a forest designed to confuse anyone that enters it (reminds me of the Legend of Zelda) has been passed it is only a little longer before everyone will find themselves at Maman village where Shirase sent them for a quest. Funny how she shows up in wierd places and more often then not is dead as she is discovered. Sh is like the Kenny (from Southpark) of this w orld thanks to the continued help of our valiant party saving her time and again.
Once in town we get the deets on the quest they have been sent here for and to Wise's annoyance she seems to know something that she doesn't want to talk about. Throw in a mixed hot spring scene where poor Masato must endure teasing and death threats if he dare stare at any young flesh (save for his mother because he of course has seen her breast as a child.) I swear this manga is kinda nuts how it skirts the line between ecchi and hentai but it also has a feel good message about the miracles which are moms.
This is such a fun series. I'm really enjoying it.
The Mom is absolutely adorable. Porta is also adorable as the little-sister type. The mage, she's pompous, but endearing, too. The son is slowly starting to take extra care to be nice to his Mother. He's not ready to admit it, but I think he's secretly glad his Mother is there. And now, the evil demon! But she's got a secret... one the mage is desperate not to reveal. If you are looking for a fun, silly, light isekai story, give this one a try.
