B is for Breathe, C is for Cat pose, and D is for Downward dog in this beautiful ABC book designed to teach very young children the basic concepts of yoga.
Baby Loves is a new range of giftable preschool ABC books that taps into the trends that matter. Stunningly illustrated with a cut-to-white aesthetic, each pocket-sized book is a perfect introduction to a key topic for babies.
An alphabet book of yoga poses and terms. I loved the diverse kids and the bright illustrations. This is clearly not for babies though! (Both in the fact that babies are not learning the alphabet and the poses are for older kids as shown in the illustrations none of which are babies!)
I didn't know that this picture book of teaching ABC with cute illustrations would be this ***erm*** cute!
I love the diversity in the illustrations as well as the balanced used of both light and dark colours accordingly.
This picture book doesn't teach how to teach kids to do actual Yoga but this book introduces well the different poses to kids (and to the adults reading the book with the kids too!).
Love it! I can just flip through the pages whenever I need a lift-me-up anytime!
Thank you, author and the publisher, for the advance reading copy.
Cute book to introduce your toddler to yoga poses and the alphabet. Very clean beautiful illustrations. Wonderful addition to your toddler’s bookshelf.
*Thanks to Quarto Publishing Group – Frances Lincoln Children’s Books and NetGalley for this Ebook in exchange for my honest review
I love reading illustrated books and this is short but so cute.
It has different names of yoga poses in alphabetical order. All the illustrations are wonderful and beautiful, at the same time they are explanatory of how to do well the pertinent yoga pose.
I believe that is an interesting book to teach kids the alphabet as well as yoga simultaneously.
I want to express my gratitude to Netgalley and Frances Lincoln Children's Books to give me the chance to read and review this illustrated book.
Review to be added to Amazon UK and US on 25th May 2021 – publication day!
I love reading the different ABC books that are coming out and this one is a fun book that looks at Baby Yoga!
It is a quick book that will give a little introduction to toddlers on the different yoga poses and the alphabet – the book doesn’t show babies, or toddlers how to do yoga but does show the more common poses – great for an adult like me too that had no clue on most of them!
A fun and colourful read with some lovely illustrations – 4 stars from me for this one!
What a charming and thoughtful little board book idea! For parents who do yoga, this would be a perfect little board book to add to your home library. It beautifully introduces children to simple poses and yoga terms in a really cute way. Illustrations are playful and celebrate diversity. The book doesn't set out to instruct young ones on how to do you but merely introduces the "look and feel" of it. To that end, I don't feel this book would work for a family not already versed in yoga.
**Note: I was given a review copy of this book by Quarto Kids. Opinions are my own.
*I received this book from NetGalley in return for a honest review*
This was such a sweet beautiful way to combine yoga and the abc's. I love the diversity in the people (and animals) shown through the book and how it shows the yoga poses that relate to the letters of the alphabet. I love that you can use this book to help teach the abc's and do movement, yoga, and mindfulness at the same time. Very sweet book.
Thank you NetGalley and Frances Lincoln Children's Books for the digital advance reading copy of this book.
This one was cute, the authors had to get creative with the Q and X positions. I love the illustrations and how most of the outfits match the pose name when possible.
I think kids will have fun trying to get into the poses as parents/teachers read the book.
My daughter and I loved this children's book which shows children doing different yoga poses which match with the letters of the alphabet. It is a fun book, with beautiful, bright graphics. We really enjoyed it.
Many thanks to the author, publisher and netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is a really cute book to introduce yoga to your little ones. The illustrations are adorable and the poses are all poses that a little one could actually do. Very cute and informative book.
Well, I didn’t know most of these poses, so Parker and learned a lot. I’m completely impressed there is an ABC book’s work of them, alone! We’ll try some of these after nap time 💤
