This contemporary romance was a joy to read! From the first page, I was drawn in by the free-spirited protagonist, Callie's, authenticity and relatability. Even when she finds herself struggling through challenging circumstances, she manages to stay true to herself. I loved that. I also loved the cast of supporting characters. If only we could all have such a loving social safety net to rely on through the good times and the tough. This book has romance, fun flirtations, drama, and some heart-wr ...more

I LOVED this book! I recieved an ARC from the author, but had to wait until I was done with another book to start reading this. I’m honestly sad I waited. This book kept me interested all the way through and I loved the author’s writing style. I was actually disappointed when the book was finished.

While I loved the story line, I’m hoping to see a continuation of this book to see where she takes the characters! Such a quick read and such a light read that it can be finished in a day or two easil

I loved the fact that this book was written by flight attendants, you could definitely tell, I love the details about the lifestyle.
Andrew was so sweet, And Callie was relatable in the best way possible this book was definitely a pleasant surprise
Callie Schneider is a flight attendant, homebased in San Francisco, California and a free spirit. During a layover in Palm Beach, Florida she has a one night stand with Andrew that results in an unexpected issue.

The story in written in first person point of view with Callie being the only viewpoint. I would have loved to have gotten Andrew's point of view too. I hesitate between 3 and 4 stars but I am going with 4 because it was nicely written and I did enjoy it. But I did have issues. I feel th

I loved the details about being a flight attendant. Made me want to be one.

Callie is an independent woman. She stands by her convictions. I enjoyed her friendships and her carefree spirit.

Andrew is a pretty perfect and thoughtful man. I’m glad he was sweet and respected her decisions from the beginning.

The first chapter drew me in with Cal’s unexpected surprise. Cal’s letters were so beautiful. A lovely and relatable novel.

Being a flight attendant myself, I loved how real this book is! If you ever wanted to know what the life a flight attendant is like, you need to pick up this book! The cities, the layovers, having a christmas sandwich alone in your hotel room on christmas day. I hear you sister! United by wings! The last row made me laugh, so true!

Callie is a flight attendant, while on a layover Callie has a one night stand with a handsome local which results in her getting pregnant. Being a flight attendant and

"Flight Path" by Lisa Wilkes was such a joy to read! I don't even know how to express all of my emotions because this is like a low-key emotional roller coaster! From reading the very first chapter, I just knew this was going to be a great book, and I was absolutely excited!

The protagonist of this lovely story is Callie Schneider. She is a flight attendant, but also a gifted writer. Callie's love interest is the sweet,

An original story with a feeling of authenticity to the characters that is instantly appealing.
Callie is a flight attendant living a free spirited lifestyle. A rendezvous in Florida changes everything, prompting her to reassess what is most important in her life.
She makes being a flight attendant sound so awesome that I kind of wanted to be one for 5 minutes, but then I remembered I am terrified of flying and after about an hour onboard I really want to step out for some air!
Andrew is solid Go

“Flight Path”—Lisa Wilkes [4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️]
This book is Wilkes’ first published novel and was just released on January 29th. I was not sure what to expect with this story but it told quite the interesting tale of Callie Schneider, a flight attendant, traveling all over the country, living life on her own terms—that is, until she meets Andrew on her Florida layover. Her one night stand seems like a great idea at the time, but a relationship is the last thing shes thinking about. An unexpected s

This book is a fun look at the life of a flight attendant, with some unique insights that you can only get from someone who has lived it. Unfortunately, the writing felt clunky, contrived and the dialogue felt unnatural. I don’t know anyone who uses “girl” in reference to their friends that much, or who says “yes” instead of “yeah” every single time. It felt like written dialogue, versus lived dialogue.

I had quite a few moral disagreements that definitely made some sections difficult to read, b

I got this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book lacked so many things! :( I feel terrible for writing quite a negative review but I really didn't like the story at all.

The story follows a flight attendant through out her work, friendship and love interest.

First thing that bothered me so much was the fact that everyone agreed with the main character, that no one questioned her, that she got along with everyone, and that everything fell right in place at the same exact mo

Have you ever wanted to be a flight attendant?? ✈️ I have to admit I’ve had this dream many many times! 😍
I love how Lisa Wilkes has used her experience has a flight attendant to write her book The Flight Path! This book does have a couple steamy moments, but there is much more depth to this story than I expected! ❤️
I love her easy writing style, you’re able to jump right into the story and adore the main character (who I kept assuming was similar to the author). Callie Schneider is a true Califo

In Flight Path we have a chance to meet Callie, a flight attendant. Her life is moving in high speed and constantly. One night she meets Andrew and her life will change course.

I liked the closer look to a flight attendant's life and to all the difficulties this job can have.
In the book there are certain letter which I found quite moving.

As for the characters, I thought that Callie was a bit immature, I didn't understand the reason behind some of her actions and I didn't connect with her. But

This is a wonderful book that had me captivated. I couldn’t put it down.
Callie just wants her books published, that is her dream. She’s working as a flight attendant and she lives in San Francisco, California. On one of her layovers in Florida, she meets Anderson a wild night of partying and drinking. They have a night of great sex and she leaves without a word.
Callie later learns that she’s pregnant. Not sure what to do, she gets in touch with Andrew and she’s shocked when he wants the baby.

This book was a happy surprise! I honestly didn’t know what to expect with this book but it let me on my toes and guessing the whole way through. It shows that Callie’s life isn’t going the way she had planned for it to go and how she deals with everything. She is trying to make the best out of a situation she never planned on being in. This may have ended up being the best thing to have ever happened to her even though not everything turned out how she had thought it would.

I really liked this book. I loved Callie and Andrew, though I wish we could see more of their relationship in the future. It was such a quick read and I enjoyed it so much. It was so good, but it did leave me wanting more. I would have liked to see more of a dynamic between Callie and her family. Or learn a little more about Andrew. Either way, I didn't put it down until it was done. I received a copy of this book through Voracious Readers in exchange for an honest review. ...more

*Copy received from author in exchange for an honest review*

Flight Path is the first book I’ve read by new author Lisa Wilkes. This book is a refreshing contemporary romance that was an enjoyable read. Callie is the female lead and is carefree and living her best life, however, one-night changes everything. Andrew is the love interest of Callie and is sweet, caring and loyal. I found their chemistry more of a slow burn then an intense attraction but thorough

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley and the publisher. All opinions are my own. I enjoyed the look at the life of a flight attendant through this story, however, this book wasn't a win for me, unfortunately. Callie, the main character, found herself in what many would find to be an unfortunate situation. While I applaud her for making this situation work, I found some of what followed to be kind of unrealistic, in my opinion. I just had a hard time keeping myself engaged with the story ...more
