I use this to identify birds better, to understand more about them and just as general reference besides learning more about them!

While a lot of the bird lore was new and interesting, Ogburn's fiction-writing penchant made for some pretty purple prose when describing birds and nature. Still, I liked the idea of a lifelong "adventure" of loving birds--I'd have to say that's true in my case, too!
