What happens when you fall? You scrape your knee or elbow right? You don't end up in the past, trapped in some sort of time travel game? You best friend doesn't fade away infinity war style? You don't find yourself falling for a pirate instead? You don't become best friends with Marie Antoinette? You don't almost get executed by Cleopatra? No? How strange. Maybe the book I picked up was just really, really weird, because I tripped and ended up falling into the book I was reading. Try not to be a klutz like me. Try not to fall into your book. It will bring you so much heartache, you won't even be able to breathe. It will make you feel like a queen and then rip your heart out and set it on fire. Enjoy reading this one though. I doubt you'll fall into it, but you never know...

For a first time author I think this book is great. Even more so that they are only 14! I wish I had the same self-discipline at that age. I did find that the book has a lot of formatting and grammatical issues. They take attention away from the story a bit so I think that and writing craft in general needs to be focused on. I also thought that some of the characters dialogue and actions were inappropriate for their ages. It just didn't sit well. I think the ages need to be revised maybe?

I really enjoyed some of the devices used, like the chronicling of the friendships from kindergarten and up. I think the relationships were portrayed well.
I think this has masses of potential as a fantasy book and I enjoyed that part of it. It should be made into a series.

This book is written by my 14 year old daughter, and although some may think that I cannot be objective, I still must say that it is excellent for a first book, and for someone at that age.
It's a fantasy about two teenage girls and friends who discovered a magic book and fell into it. It will take you through time travel, and you will meet few historical figures. The book kept my full attention till the end when I read it first time (yes, she did not allow me to read it until it was finished), and the ending is very unexpected and interesting. I read it in one go, and can warmly recommend it, especially to 9-15 age groups and teenagers. Bravo Lea! Can't wait for your next book.

My nine year old really liked this book. I think that it is great that it was written by someone close to her age, and that helped her to relate to the characters. She is normally a very picky reader, but she rates this one a 4.9 out of 5. She took off .1 point due to a little bit of foul language.

I had high hopes for this book. I'm impressed with anyone who can throw down 150 pages, let alone someone who's only 14 years old! There was an amazing amount of plot here. The ideas beind this could have filled out a 4 or 5 book series, I think.

I'm really hoping that I'm just too old to follow this and my kids will get behind this book. There's a lot of language that makes me edgey about letting my kids read it, but maybe when they're another couple years older...

Again, I love the idea behind this book, but I just wish the execution had been a bit more... organized, I guess.

The potential from this book is amazing especially as it's such a young author. There was a few formatting issues with the Kindle read regardless it was a good read. The ages of the characters felt older than explained, once I got into the story I really began to enjoy it.
