2 Stars maybe feels too mean- there is alot that does work here when it works (fragilité fragile got me) but boy do I hate art about consuming art (so take this all with a grain of salt.) Feels like a case of too much and too little at the same time- very one note by the end.

That said Im sure this ate in the 70s and Im SURE theres a high school absolutely rocking a lightly censored version of this somewhere.

Review: So this is another play that I feel is kinda hard to summarize. There's a whole load of characters all in this museum at an exhibit and there's a ton of people who really don't understand how an art exhibit works and are completely disrespectful and that's about it. Maybe the author is trying to say something in relation to art in that way but I didn't really get it. It was just kinda too weird for me.

As its title suggests, "Museum" is a living exhibition of its transient characters. Although photography is expressly prohibited, the colors of each character, some softer some louder, are captured for the audience to admire or dismiss as unworthy of attention. "Museum" avoids answers and embraces the unknowable nature of Art. Art undeniably appears throughout the play, but exactly where and what it is, the characters and audience must decide for themselves.

I'd forgotten that I saw this in California--it contains the memorable line "une fragilité FRAGILE!" An amusing afternoon at the museum raises a lot of questions about art and museums without offering any answers. It could be fun to do, but doesn't really have the depth of language I look for in projects.
