New York Times bestselling author Chantal Fernando returns to the Knights of Fury series with her most complicated hero yet. He may be the epitome of cool, but this MC President isn’t called Temper for nothing…

"If you love MC story lines with danger, intrigue, and a steamy yet sweet romance, you need to get your hands on Temper ." – Fresh Fiction

Every year, the hot, tatted biker comes into Abbie’s bar, orders whiskey, and asks her out. Every year, Abbie turns him down. After all, dating a man that goes by Temper seems like a really bad idea, no matter how attracted she is to him.

But this year is different. Abbie’s different. Older, wiser, and tired of being stuck behind the bar in a sleepy town. This year, she’s ready for whatever adventure the sexy but sweet biker has in store for her.

Or so she thinks…until an elegant candlelit dinner ends with a dead body.

Now, Abbie finds herself on the ride of her life, whisked away to the big city in Temper’s protective custody. She should be scared but—despite his nickname—it’s clear the last thing Temper would ever do is hurt a hair on her head. And when danger catches up with them, Abbie soon realizes that holding tight to her man while straddling a Harley may be the safest place of all.

Temper is the third book in the Knights of Fury series but it can be read as a standalone. It was quite the enjoyable read.

Temper has been coming into the bar owned by Abbie's mother for years when he travels through with his MC. Each time he visits he asks her out and each time Abbie says no because of the age gap and her sheltered family life. Finally she says yes...what could possibly go wrong? Temper plans the most romantic date that you wouldn't believe a MC president would even know how to do and by the end of the night she finds herself taken unwillingly to his home in Los Angeles.

This is not the typical MC romance. The ones I have recently read have been so dark and bordering on sociological/psychological abuse of the hero onto the heroine. I enjoy a good MC but prefer mine to be closer to the Kristen Ashley's Chaos series where you have a rough around the edges type alpha but has a soft side when dealing with his lady love. This is that type of romance.

I really enjoyed the development of Temper and Abbie's romance. As the president of the MC Temper is a strong alpha male but he has a softer side which comes across when he interacts with Abbie. Abbie is much younger than Temper and she has led a reclusive type life but she really flourishes with him and the MC family.

This was a fast read and it kept me entertained and glued to the pages. It had constant action with twists and turns. There was passion between Temper and Abbie but I wished there had been more. I could see the attraction but I wished it were expressed more.

This is my first book by Chantal Fernando but it will not be my last. I definitely will read the first two books of the series and I recommend this to my fellow MC romance fans that like a man a little rough around the edges.

Temper is book three in the Knights of Fury series by Chantal Fernando. This is my very first book by Chantal. This is a MC, age gap romance. It can easily be read as a stand alone even though it’s part of a series. I have not read any of the previous books and had no difficulty at all. I first noticed the cover of this book which made me take a second look. But what really drew me in was the blurb. I was definitely intrigued and am so glad I decided to take a chance on this.

Abigail (Abbie) Redmond is twenty eight years old, lives with her mom and younger sister, and works at their family owned bar, Franks. Abbie had to drop out of college and put her own dreams on hold due to her mother’s health issues.

pretty female bartender - Google Search

Abbie first met the swoony biker five years ago the first time he came into her bar. Over the years, he shows up a couple of times a year, stays for a drink, and always asks her out. She always says no. It’s obvious he’s older than her but more than that, going out with a biker is definitely not a good idea. That’s what her mother keeps telling her anyway. But this time when he comes in, she wants to say yes. She’s tired of being cautious. She’s attracted to him and he to her. It’s one night, one date. What could go wrong?!

Temper is forty two years old and is president of the Knights of Fury MC just outside of Los Angeles. He’s been trying to convince Abbie to go out with him for five years. Tonight is finally his big chance. So he plans the perfect date. Only things don’t quite end the way he might have hoped. They end with Abbie thrown into the back seat of the car and racing back to LA to his home.

“Being fearful of life is only barely living, and sometimes the gamble is worth it.”

The reason for going to LA might have been unpleasant, but once she’s there, away from her stifling, overbearing mom, Abbie starts to gain confidence. She was like a bird spreading her wings and learning to fly. That spark that had been between she and Temper from the first time they met, grew into so much more. Temper, the feared president of a MC club was a caring, sweet, attentive man to her. He was everything she could have wanted.

“Taking a chance on Temper is the best thing I ever did.”

When you finally meet that someone with whom even your wildest of dreams line up. Don’t let that someone go...

Not only does their feelings grow for each other, Abbie feels like she fits in here, she makes friends, she feels needed, she feels stronger. But Abbie and Temper and the rest of the club are in for a few surprises. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with all the little twists and turns this took. I might have even “gasped” a time or two!

This was such an enjoyable read. I do enjoy MC romance but haven’t read all that many. Some of the ones I have read, though, are dark. This wasn’t. I loved seeing Temper’s soft side, and Abbie was the perfect match for him. This was sweet, sexy, and a bit suspenseful. I’m so glad I decided to read this.

This was a nice read... very entertaining. If I don't get to read an MC book every now and then, I get really cranky and Chantal Fernando is definitely one of my go-to MC authors ;)

need my fix gif - Google Zoeken

This book can be read as a stand-alone, though I find reading them in order does make the reading more pleasurable, because of all the side-characters.

This time around we get Temper's story, the president of the Knights of Fury MC. I always enjoy the president's books a tad bit more...they are just that tad bit more alpha :P

Abbie was also a wonderful character and the age gap trope was the lovely sprinkle on top.

couple motorcycle - Google Zoeken

For me, this book was the perfect blend of fun, action, suspense, and romance. I had a wonderful time reading it and I am curious to see what's next.

Temper by Chantal Fernando is the third novel in the Knights of Fury series; however, I believe it can be safely read as a standalone. The couples from the previous books feature heavily in this installment, so reading those would be helpful. I decided to accept this book for review purposes because I found the synopsis intriguing. I didn’t know what to expect seeing that the author was new to me, but it turned out to be entertaining.

Twice per year for the past five years, Temper would visit the bar where Abbie works and ask her out. However, each time she says no. Finally, in the fifth year she accepted his offer. The date turned out better than she expected, but near to the end danger came knocking and Abbie’s world would turn upside down.

Temper is the president of Knights of Fury motorcycle club. He gained the nickname Temper due to his tendency to fly of the handle. His members we would see a different side to him and they had Abbie to thank for it. She brought out his softer side, which amazed everyone.

Abbie is sweet tempered and almost everyone loved her. One could understand Temper’s attraction towards her. I admired how adapted even though the circumstances were less than ideal. She was the epitome of the quote, ‘when life gives you lemons you make lemonade’. Despite her sweetness, she proved to be fierce when it came to protecting those she loved.

This being a biker romance, one would expect a dark and gritty story. Instead, the author treated readers to a sweet and heart-warming story. I appreciated the camaraderie between the members of the club and it was a joy to watch the way they embraced Abbie into their fold.

The romance though sweet had a hint of spiciness to it. I loved watching Abbie and Temper grow as a couple.

The suspense arc amped up the excitement. The events surrounding this aspect of the story led to some interesting revelations.

Conclusion/Recommendation
Temper delivered a sweet, heart-warming romance with some suspenseful moments and a few twists and turns that would keep readers engaged.

Temper is the third book in Chantal Fernando's Knights of Fury series and brings us to the now President of the MC, Temper. For years he's flirted with Abbie every time he's at her mother's bar, and he asks her out over and over again. She always turns him down, not wanting to take a chance with a biker. But now her life is in need of some excitement after dropping out of college to take care of her mother and running the bar on her own, so she says yes. What starts out as a fantastic date though quickly turns into a murder scene, her own kidnapping, and being thrust into a world she doesn't know how to navigate.

I seriously loved Temper from the very beginning of this book. He was so charming I couldn't help but smile and he planned the perfect date. It wasn't something you would expect from some badass biker and that just made it all the more amazing. I really liked seeing him with Abbie and how cute they were together. And she honestly surprised me as a character. She didn't let the fact that she was thrown into the MC life so fast and drastically kill her spirit and she could still be super feisty at times, which I loved. She and Temper were just great together and they had me captivated from start to finish.

Temper is definitely a recommended read for all MC lovers, but if you haven't read this author before I recommend any of her books. Chantal Fernando is one of my favorite MC authors and with every book I read from her I just fall more and more in love with her writing.

Abbie feels stuck after withdrawing from college to take care of her mother and the family bar. So, when Temper, the president of a MC asks her out for a date, she accepts wanting to live a little. This is a surprise to Temper since for the last five years Abbie has refused his offer, so he’s not about to pass up this chance and endeavors to make a special night of it. Abbie feels swept off her feet right until the very end when hell breaks loose.

Temper
was a pretty tame MC romance, which I appreciated because I’m not a fan of the really gritty ones, and the romance was relatively angst free. I liked the age gap between Temper and Abbie, it seemed to work for them. I was also happy she fit in well with Temper’s Club members and significant others. The drama with club was a little far-fetched but entertaining even so.

Temper has been asking Abbie out every time he sees her for the last five years. She finally says yes. They have an amazing date until she witnesses a shooting, and then gets kidnapped. She forgives Temper, and they get busy between the sheets and fall in love along the way to find out who is trying to hurt the MC. I loved seeing the previous couples, plus learning more about other members of the MC. I can't decide if I want the next book to be Chains or Crow.

📚 Series:  Yes, 3rd. But can be read as a standalone.
📚 Genre: Contemporary Romance.
📚 POV:  First.
📚 Cliffhanger: No.

⚠ Content Warnings:  Violence. Drugs. Parent-child conflict. Age gap.
⚠ Read if: you love MC romances.

Temper is the third book of the Knights of Fury series and I had a good time reading it. Despite having no idea what the two earlier books were about, I was able to get a good grasp of the story and appreciate the solid set of support characters, mainly the two pairs of leads of the earlier books.

This book features a couple with an age gap. Abbie is a bartender who is visited by Temper, an MC president, about once or twice in a year. He keeps on attempting to ask her out -- until the day comes that she felt like saying yes.

This book oozed tension and chemistry between the two main characters that it was actually hard to let go of the book. Plus, there is also the action, adventure, and mystery aspect that brings thrill to the table.

The writing style is very attractive and I cannot deny enjoying this fun ride!

I have to admit reading the first two books would make me understand the story flow better. So, I feel like picking them up some time in the future.

Temper was the third book in Chantal Fernando’s Knights of Fury series.

Temper was the MC’s President. Through his travels, he would pass through a small town a few times a year. He frequented a family run bar and asked the bartender out every year. Every year she turned him down. This happened for five years, until this year when she accepted.

Abbie was the daughter of the bar’s owner. Her mother ran it but had been sick so Abbie quit school and took over temporarily until her mother could grab the reins again. She needed a break and the big, gorgeous, scary biker could offer that with one date. Until the date took an unexpected turn.

Fernando took us through a suspenseful plot while unraveling the relationship between Abbie and Temper and meshing it with the MC. Part of the plot was a continuation of the previous books while simultaneously new events were introduced. It was interesting but also a tad slow. And it got a little weird, but that’s part of fiction, so it can pass, but there were some gaps that were left wide open - and I’m still confused on how it was relevant. I wanted more depth and detail.

In the end, It wasn’t my favorite of Fernando’s writings, but it will be for others. I’m invested so curious to see where Fernando takes the series next. Onward and upward.

This was a fun read. Which is a little strange to write down considering this is an MC romance, but it really was. I found myself grinning more often than not and being more than happy to get lost in Abbie and Temper’s unique journey to their HEA.

I loved Abbie and Temper. Abbie is all kinds of sweet and sassy, even when she’s feeling all kinds of awkward. I loved watching her truly come into her own and really take charge of what she wanted her future to look like. Temper surprised me, but in a good way. He is all kinds of alpha, he has to be as Prez, but I loved getting to know the heart of the man beneath the title and seeing just how golden his heart was.

Their journey to their HEA was all kinds of fun. It is a strange mix of slow burn/insta, no gonna lie, but it worked for me considering all that was tossed their way in a short amount of time. but I loved their bantering and didn’t play any mind games with each other. The angst was low, which I appreciated considering all that was going on around them, and I really liked how everything worked out for them in the end.

This was a fun read, on the lighter side of the spectrum than the majority of the MC romances I tend to read, but it had enough grit to keep things interesting. And speaking of interesting...talk about holy plot twist Batman! I did NOT see that one coming at all, but it definitely kicked things up a notch. And as for the supporting cast of characters. I loved catching up with Saint and Skyler, I some how missed Renegade’s book, but will be diving in as soon as possible, but loved Renny and Izzy. But the two that peaked my interest the most were Crow and Chains and I’m crossing my toes they get their own HEA’s down the road.

I have been looking forward to Temper’s book since the beginning. I enjoyed the dynamic between him and Abbie. She was the soft to his MC President hard. Plenty of action and plot twists in this one - but don’t worry you get your MC version of a HEA.

I received an arc of this book.

I don't really know where to start with this one on what our thoughts are other than saying that although we didn't hate it we didn't love it either.

For us as a whole we really enjoyed the characters with their camaraderie and their love and loyalty to one another and we loved that most of them had really great personalities that made them engaging because characters like Skylar were a hoot.

I liked Temper and Abbie but, here again didn't love them.I loved the fact that we saw a different side of Temper when he was with Abbie and we loved how easily Abbie fit right into the club and won over the men and women of the club so easily as they had her back and she theirs.

For me Temper and Abbie lacked chemistry and passion and this story lacked a whole lot of heat.I have no problem with a slow burning romance but, you couldn't even call this that because their so called love affair was just getting started and boom their already in love.Temper and Abbie made a cute couple and we loved seeing Abbie's personal growth with being in a different environment and even making new friends and even with Temper's influence but, there was no burn between this couple at least for me and where was all Temper's so called alpha-ness ? hummmm

"I didn't feel it or see it !"

Overall this story was slow and boring and a bit confusing or you could so had "no rhyme or reason with certain parts of the story" because the story started out one way and that is how this couple ended up together with a situation gone a rhy.At one point its unclear of who has a beef with the club is it another MC or someone else?As the story progresses the story goes in a whole other direction for a bit but, is still connected to the original plot in some way but ,with a whole lot of surprises turning up in the mix but, I am left with a bunch of unanswered questions and a bunch of why's ?

Certain things just didn't make sense....

This story is part of a ongoing plot of vengeance or payback or what ever you want to call it that spills over into this book and for someone like me just coming in their is certain previous background which is important to the mindset of certain characters in this book so my suggestion for other readers is to read the series in order first.

"These men are the definition of shades of gray. Men you want on your side, not against you. They have no boundaries or limits. They are good and bad."

Um...Temper, yes, he has one. But, that doesn't define him. He's also very patient. He'd have to be because he's been asking Abbie out for years and he hasn't given up. They were instantly attracted to each other, so maybe it was insta-lust, but their age difference kept the embers smoldering rather than bursting into flame. But now that she's finally said yes, better keep your fire extinguisher nearby. You wouldn't want your reading device to melt before you get to the even better parts. 😉

While each book in the Knight of Fury series features a different couple that doesn't mean the behind-the-scenes club business doesn't continue from book-to-book. The author does a great job of keeping the suspense alive and makes her readers work for it. I can't tell you how much I enjoy that part of her writing. And...the awesome and colorful support characters...and the HOT sex...and the sweet that comes out of the badass bikers when they fall for the right woman...sigh. 🖤

I won't give away the goods, you need the excitement that comes with the unknown and the fun of guessing and being surprised. But, I can tell you to expect the unexpected. I'm looking forward to spending more time with this fierce and funny family as the series progresses. The line forms here...

This was a great addition to the series. Abbie and Temper have chemistry in spades. Add in typical MC drama--action, suspense, blood shed---Just an all around great read.

Temper has held a candle for Abbie for many years. When she finally says yes, the two start an adventure neither of them saw coming. Some secrets are revealed. Romance ensues. Steamy moments that will blow you away! Overall great MC book.

Loved seeing the previous couples. Can't wait to see who comes next!

Temper and Abbie have a cute backstory that drew me in immediately. He is a biker passing through town once or twice a year. She is a bartender in her family's bar. Each time Temper passes through, he asks Abbie out and she says no. Until 5 years go by and she finally says yes. Its adorable! The date is very swoon worthy, but the ending changes Abbie's life forever.

Abbie is a great heroine. She had to put her dreams of law school on hold after her mom has a stroke. She stepped up, took over the bar, and ensured her younger sister didn't have to miss out on college. She is a giver, for sure. Temper is the president of the MC and he has great heart that Abbie gets to see over the years. He cried for the last prez, he remembers events in Abbie's life, and he isn't a manwhore. Overall, both are great characters.

I felt like Abbie was a little "too" ok with Temper's actions at times. I mean, he kidnapped her-tied her up and everything. But, aside from that, I enjoyed the story! There is plenty of danger and action to keep the plot moving, and lots of romance between Abbie and Temper!

Temper has been asking Abbie out for years, every time he rolls through her small town. But she always says no. Then one time she finally says yes. And then a date happens. A date that's going along well until something happens and suddenly he's taking Abbie. Both for her protection (so he says) and for his MC's protection.

Will this be Abbie's chance to finally escape her stifling life, or will it just reinforce all the reasons Abbie had turned Temper down for 5 years?

As MC romances go, this one is fairly even keeled. It's not too heavy or gritty, and not too light, but it is entertaining and I loved Temper and Abbie together. He may be a big, bad MC prez on the outside, but with Abbie he's positively a teddy bear. The action is pretty fast paced, and the suspense was pitched at the right intensity and the secondary characters (the MC brothers, Abbie's sister and her new found father) are all just as interesting as Abbie and Temper. I haven't read any of the other stories in this series, but after having fallen in love with the the men (and women) of the Knights of Fury club, you can bet I will be reading them all now.

*I received this book as a gift in exchange for my honest opinion.

WOW!!! I mean....HOLY MOTHER OF....WHAT?!!!!! What an epic way to end this series. At least, I'm gonna assume it's the end until I hear otherwise. Just....WOW!!!

First let me start by mentioning that under no circumstances are you to read this without reading BOTH of the other books in this series first. This is NOT a standalone and shouldn't be treated as such.

Ok, now that that's out of the way....

Where do I begin?!!! Temper. My. Man. How incredibly fitting that he's the Pres of the MC. After years as Hammer's right hand man, stepping in to his shoes was hard, but worth the challenges. Especially when he was able to visit a certain bar a few times a year on his runs. Why? Because that's the place he laid eyes on the most beautiful woman he's ever seen. And never gave up asking...

Abbie is my new favorite heroine. Why? Because she's 100% BADASS!!!! Yep. She's put her personal life on hold to not only take care of her mother after having a stroke, but managing and running the family bar. The same family bar that she's had the pleasure of seeing Temper and the other Knights of Fury men come and go over the years. And each and every time she's turned Temper down for a date. That is until today. Why? Who knows...but it's sure to be a bumpy ride!!!

You guys!!! This is literally just the first few chapters!!!! The chemistry between Temper and Abbie is not only hot, but dangerously close to essential. They are SOOOO good for each other and everyone sees it. But that doesn't mean that the poo doesn't hit the fan in this book. Nope. Buckle up because Georgia isn't done and there are more than enough twists and turns to literally leave your mouth hanging open, yelling, "NO WAAAAY!!!".

If this truly is the last in the series, I'm very sad. But I also know that this author will wow us with another outstanding book/series soon! <3

Ms Fernando is one of the few MC genre authors that I still read, and I am never disappointed

Temper and Abbie's story is one of long time crushes, and of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

But the consequences are more than either of them could ask for.

Temper is all kinds of lolvely, and you can't help but fall for him along with Abbie.

I loved getting back into the clubhouse, loved getting more of Saint and Rennie and their lovely ladies, and I can't wait for more of the series.

I have to stop reading this author when she writes an MC book. Again these were the politest, nicest, cleanest MC that I have ever read about. It started out great then went all roses and flowers. I skipped around some because it was just so boring and blah, didn’t miss a thing! The relationship between Temper and Abbie was so not there. The author wanted to play the age game, but that didn’t even pull me in. No chemistry or wanting them on every page. The plot was so contrived and went on and on. The “bad guy” wasn’t even bad and was taken care of in one chapter. The dialogue was so juvenile too “so cute” was used so much.

If you want to read a fairy tale MC story this is for you. If you like the grit and reality MC not for you.

Chantal Fernando ended the Knights Of Fury series with a bang! She saved the best for last and trust me when I say, Temper is the best!!! I have been waiting for this book since the beginning of this series, and even though I didn't have to wait too long, the wait was still a killer!

Let it be known, if you haven't yet read Saint or Renegade, you may want to read those books before diving into this one. Yes, Temper's story can technically be read as a standalone. However, these stories are interconnected within one another and some scenes with a chick named Georgia may have you scratching your head wondering what the hell is going on.

Temper is the president of the Knights of Fury MC, basically meaning he has the weight of the world on his shoulders and the safety of his club always on his mind. He didn't ask for the job but unknowing circumstances and the death of his MC President rested the gavel at his feet. If being president of an MC chapter has done anything, it's hardened Temper more than what he was.

But for the past five years he's find a sense of peace in a bar out of state staring into a pair of amber colored eyes. Abbie is his solace and he'll do everything in his power to make her his. Even if it means tying her up and kidnapping her....

I can say this with an honest heart, Temper's story was nothing like I was expecting it. It was so much more!!! Throughout this whole series I loved watching Temper transition from a man with a chip on his shoulder and a shield around his heart to a man who wanted and craved the love of one woman with amber eyes standing behind a bar.

My heart bonded with Abbie right away. Abbie's a woman who shield's her heart from the unknown. She lives her life for others, spending her time taking care of her mother and watching her sister live out her dreams. She's never really done anything for herself and the one thing she did do she ended up giving up for a bit to take care of her mom. So when Temper walks into her bar she decides at the last minute to let her shield down and do something for herself. She finally says yes to a date with Temper....

I'm not even going to lie, I freaking swooned when it came to Temper! This man is everything! He's a protector, he's sweet and he's undeniably sexy as sin. I couldn't get enough.

But what I loved the most, Temper and Abbie are a match made in heaven! She's the calm to his storm. They both would do everything in their power to protect the other, even if it means putting themselves in the crossfire. Their connection and their chemistry is off the chains. Scorching hot and sugary sweet all at the same time.

Overall, I can now say, Temper is one of my favorite novels by Chantal Fernando. I not only loved the heat and loved the passion, I also loved the adrenaline and the suspense that was pumping through this novel. If I wasn't a fan before Temper, which I totally was, I'm a fan now! I'm blown away!!!

I've put off reading this because I knew once I finished I'd be gutted and waiting for the next would feel like a lifetime away. I left it aslong as possible and now here I am having read it .. gutted it's over and wanting the next one now!.

Tempers story had me grabby hands wanting needing him since reading Renegade.

I honestly had absolutely no clue what to expect from his story. I mean he's the president so one would assume like every other mc pres he would be a total hard ass. That's normally how it goes right?.

Temper is a patient man. For 5 years he's made the same stop at the same small town to the same family owned bar to ask the same women out on a date. For 4 years she's politely declined his date invitation and he's accepted those knock backs like a gentleman but on the fifth year everything changed. This year Abbie knew in her bones that resisting Tempers invitation to dinner wouldn't be possible because she wanted him despite her moms opinions. But it was different this year because instead of asking her out he told her to take herself out and well Abbie didn't expect that nor did she accept he'd given up after all this time trying.

Let's just say that that one date changed her entire life in a whole lotta ways.

Temper was not who I thought he'd be. For the most part he was not his namesake. He had the patience of a Saint and a sweet caring nature that made for a deadly combination to women. He sat in that grey area of good people doing bad things for good reasons and or good people that sometimes do bad things but that doesn't necessarily make them a bad egg. He totally contradicted what I originally thought and I'm not even mad about it. Whilst many mistakes where made alone the way... there wasn't a time in which he done them to hurt or upset Abbie and that I can get behind.

Abbie was the queen of sweet and understanding. Despite the circumstances she found herself in and obviously after getting over the immediate displeasure of everything that happened.. she was almost to kind and level headed about everything. That was just who she was. She had my respect from the beginning but I fell in love with her when she never took her emotions on the situation out on any of the girls or their guys. Now don't mistake her gentle nature for her being a push over because that women handled every situation thrown her way like a pro. In fact she kicked ass better that the guys and I'm all for that girl power.

Temper and Abbie story was absolutely a little unconventional but hey this is a mc story and they never go smooth sailing. I honestly could not have paired two characters together more perfectly. Everything about them just made sense and fit in the most perfect way. The chemistry and connection was there from the beginning but as their story progressed I could really feel how much they felt for one another. They had depth and substance. That raw real palpable emotion that only grows in strength. Despite their many obstacles they always had each other's backs first and even when emotions were very conflicted them and their family were the priority.

The story itself wasn't massively action packed or super angsty but it did have a suspenseful element. Like always with this author and her crazy world of characters nothing is really ever all it seems. Secrets and lies are revealed, tensions are high.. bonds are forming in many different ways between characters. It's a little rollercoaster but it's also not overwhelming. It's sweet and funny and at times shocking. You'll feel all the feels and fall in love with all the crazy characters and their hilariously dysfunctional shenanigans.

Like I said this author loves to slip in a few surprises and colour me shookith at certain revelations. I was fucking SHOOK. I loved it so much.

Chantal never disappoints. I love that her characters are both likeable and relatable. I love that it's not all cute fluff and holds some substance but it's also not overwhelmingly drama filled. It's not your typical mc.. but it's so fucking good I devoured it and now I want more. Like now. Please.

Also... Temper holds a special place in my heart. That man is everything and then some and I want him. He's mine.

He came to her bar and asked her out twice a year for five years, she finally said yes and all hell broke loose. I've had my eye on Chantal Fernando's books for a while and finally took the plunge. It was a good time and I will definitely want more.

Temper is the third in the Knights of Fury series. It read easily as my first book, but it did have a series arc plot that seemed to culminate in this story and the previous couples were strong players in this one. I would definitely recommend starting with Saint and then Renegade first.

Abbie's been working her family bar out on the desert in a small town between Vegas and LA since she was old enough to help out. Her biggest goal was to finish college and get out of town to see the world, but her mom's stroke got her off track for her dream and she'll probably be keeping bar forever. The only bright spot is the sexy tatted biker who has been stopping into the bar a couple times a year for the last five years. Each time Temper asks her out, she says no and they go on to catch up on their lives.

Except this time, Abbie doesn't want to say no and wants to let her hair down for a little while before getting back to family duty. A date with the much older Temper where he gets creative and gives her the best night of her life and she can relish the sizzle of attraction between them before he heads back on the road.

Only, it doesn't end with that scorching kiss, but gunfire and Abbie's staid life is upended. She gets an unwanted glimpse into the darker world of the man who stars in her dreams. She wanted to get out of town and see the world. She wanted to play with fire and is she now about to get burned? Someone's after the Knights of Fury and Abbie is caught in the crossfire. Secrets come to light and things heat up with Temper. Dare she take the risk?

I enjoyed this first person narrative told by Abbie, the slightly naive, but level-headed woman who grew up small town and never got the chance to leave. She had a sweet nature, but there was also steel in her spine so that she might be all new to the MC world, but she's no pushover. This is a biker romance and there are a bunch of alpha guys, but Abbie doesn't get lost in the shuffle and gets the chance to get in on the action.

I loved the way she and Temper had been building a friendship over those years she put him off and they felt ready when they finally got their opportunity. He made a mistake, but owned it and he was so patient and good with Abbie. The age gap was mentioned and considered, but not dwelt on. I was glad because there was plenty of other conflict to keep the book lively and moving.

There was a nice suspense element with who was coming after the club and attacking them which brought some good action and excitement especially with the big climax scene.

This is a biker romance, but it wasn't dark or gritty. There is a sweetness in the friendships especially among the gals and there is a heartwarming feel of family among the club members. The romance had some spice, but it was also very sweet the way Temper courted her. He was commanding without being a jerk and Abbie had good spirit, but wasn't stubborn at the wrong times. Great couple!

All around this was an engaging book and I want to go back for the two previous ones while eagerly awaiting the rest of the series. I think this series would make a good starting point for those who want to try out biker romances and is also a good match for those who prefer the more moderate biker element.

My thanks to Carina Press for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was book 3 in the "Knights of Fury" . This was a really good book Abbie works at her families bar in a small town in Nevada Temper has being going to the bar for years he ask her out but she always turns him down this year when he ask her she says yes. This was a really good read they had a good date until Temper gets a call from one of the knights and takes her with him when they are attacked and Renny kills one of the attackers and Temper kidnaps her. The Knights have a lot going on someone is coming after them again. Abbie makes the best of her time in California by going site seeing she is also dealing with her mother who is overprotective of her 28 year old daughter. When they learn that a drug kingpin is asking about the MC Abbie finds out that the man is her father and they also learn that Georgia who is Skylar's mother is the one behind the attacks. When kidnap Dee the knights go to get him only to have Temper taken and Abbie isn't having it and they go to get him with Abbie shooting her the real shock is that Georgia's husband Neville is the kingpin Grayson who is Abbie's father is the same person. This was a good read Abbie is good for Temper and he for her when she goes home she faces her mother and decides that she is ready to leave the nest. This book was well written and the narration was good this book had no errors in grammar or spelling.

Temper by Chantal Fernando
Knights of Fury #3

Looking for a tame biker romance without explicit violence? This book might be for you. It is NOT your typical biker romance but a rather sweet story of an ongoing annual request for a date when Temper rolls through town and that request has always been turned down by abbie...until...one day Temper comes into Abbie’s bar and says he might not ask her out this year, she decides that would NOT be good thing at all and so they do go out on their first date...finally.

The date is splendid till it is not and then her life changes dramatically. Given a chance to leave her town, state, controlling mother and a life that was not the one she chose she spreads her wings, meets new people. Does the tourist thing and gets to know Temper better.

Of course there is a bad guy to thwart, some surprises, twists and turns with the expected HEA.

What I liked:
* Temper: rugged, mature, commanding but with a tender heart
* Abbie: a woman who needs change and is willing to take a chance with Temper
* The Knights of Fury and their women
* Learning the back stories of both main characters
* The thwarting of the bad guy
* That there is a HEA for the two
* The potential for more stories in the series

What I didn’t like:
* The overly tame nature of this not so gritty MC romance
* The way Abbie moved from mouse to wannabe Wonder Woman
* Abbie’s mother

Did I like this book? Yes, as a romance
Did I like this book as an MC Romance? Not as much as others I have read
Would I read more in this series? Maybe

Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin-Carina for the ARC – This is my honest review.

A very enjoyable read. This was my first by this author.
I’ve every intention of going back and read the first two books in the set.
Just shows they can be read as a standalone without any background info.

I found the characters were believable and intriguing, and the storyline very addictive, it was hard to put down.

Loved both Temper , a big softy, at least with his lady, and Abbie were very much made for each other.
He discovering he has a softer edge, she that she’s as tough as they come when needed.

Together they are a formidable team.
Great book and recommended reading.

I received an Arc copy of this book and chose to post this review

So this one is about the President of the MC - Temper - and the woman who he has been asking out on a date twice a year for the last 5 years. She finally said yes! Too bad she sees something she shouldn’t have seen. Perhaps it was for the best though.
Abbie is a small town lady who wants to see more of the world but feels her mother needs her help so she never leaves. Good thing Temper helps her break free.

4.5 Stars
I might have given this one 5 stars if the ending hadnt seemed to abrupt to me. But overall, I did enjoy this one and I do recommend it.

This is the third book in the series. Temper's book, hence the name. I had always liked him and not that I didn't but he was softer so not like I would expect an MC President to be. And Abby yeah no I could not see her as his love interest and even though the author tried to make her seem badass along the way it didn't work for me. I was glad to read about the previous couples and glad that they finally got to have some type of conclusion with Georgia, but again the whole Gray/Nevin situation was just to contrived for me..So sometimes like this authors work, and sometimes it does work like this one.

rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..netgalley..voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions.

Abbie isn't one for asking for things, “I’m going out with Skylar and Izzy on Saturday night,” I say, deciding to tell him not ask him..." Temper is a very protective man, “what’s wrong?” I hear Temper ask, panic in his tone. He comes over and pulls me away from Crow, lifting me up in his arms. “What happened?” he asks Crow, his voice now laced with fury. “I left her here with you for a few hours and she’s effin’ crying?” I liked this book, I loved Temper.
