This box set is for mature 18+ readers and is a #WhyChoose romance which contains all four books in the Finding Their Muse series. Please note this series contains tough subject matter including, PTSD, drug abuse, and self harm. Of course, with all my stories there is a HEA, it might just take a while to get there! This boxset also contains the opening chapters of Delinquent, book one in the Academy of Misfits trilogy featuring Asia, aka Alicia who appears in the final book Symphony:
Steps: This book was so good. It’s really different in that all of the characters have many sides and personality traits that keep you on your toes. Obviously, with the ending I know something big is coming but I feel like there’s another character that is big trouble. I hope on book two, we get to see how all of their darkness comes together. Very excited for book two.
Strokes: Oh man!! This book has sucked me in deeper. I love every broken bit of these four souls. I need them. I also need them to take care of that evil, old lady, but, I’ll try to be patient. I loved Anton and Rose. Can’t wait for the next pieces of them to fall into place.
Strings: Oh. My. God. I have so many feelings after this book. This was so brilliant, heartbreaking, intense... I loved it. So many truths and revelations. Rose’s confessions, poor Erik and his reliving his pain, heartbreak, and torture. I felt like I was right there with them. I was worried that Rose’s breakthrough would be rushed but, it was perfect and realistic. I somehow felt even more connected to Anton. I think he just has a piece of my heart. I’m a bit broken over the end. Just when you feel like there’s hope, they all let trauma close them off again. I’m ready for the symphony coming next.
Symphony: So much perfection in this book and series! This book touches on every loose end and gives us everything we need. These characters have my heart and I’m so glad for how their story ends. I also like the touches of the other series by this author. I’ll miss these lovely people.
Merged review:
I absolutely love this series!

"Our kind of fairy-tale doesn’t exist. This is real life, it’s messy, it’s brutal, it hurts."
"To truly live you must feel everything; pain, regret, fear, rage, sadness, joy, love."
How true are these two lines from this wonderfully dark, emotional, brutal series full of pain, love and healing. I've loved it from start to finish. It's really not for the faint hearted, there are a host of potential triggers including PTSD, suicide and abuse, but I felt the author treated it all with respect and care. I absolutely recommend it if you can look past the brokenness of Rose, Ivan, Anton and Erik and see their strength and beautiful souls underneath the armour and defences. It's a hard fought journey for all of them and I had no idea to start with how they would all fit together with such differing needs. It just worked and the final book Symphony tied it all together perfectly. Loved it!
I read the the duet The Dancer and the Masks. It is exquisite and definitely a very twisted dark, very dark romance. This is more of a Gothic mystery novel and I'm not as into them. It's a reverse Harem but although what sex there is is very hot its more of sex with three different lovers. However, it's well written and it's got that dark mystery gothic style novel that is rare . The character development is very well written and not rushed. I think it could have been a three part series but it's still written well. However the title is deceiving and on her lists of books to read this was her first. I guess after reading The Dancer and the Masks , which also was a dark reverse harem this just was a bit of a disappointment. I am going to read more of these connected books and Bea is an amazing writer.
TITLE: Finding Their Muse: The Complete Series GENRE: Contemporary Romance AUTHOR: Bea Paige TROPE: Dark, Why-Choose Romance TYPE: Series (Boxed Set) POV: Multiple POV MY RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5
Finding Their Muse is the story of Rose, Ivan, Anton & Erik, each of whom is broken in some way. I had not heard much about this series beforehand, but I wanted to follow the author's suggestion and read it before the Academy of Stardom Series. I am glad I did; I found it to be the right combination of angst, spice and suspense. I will admit to a very late night because I was engrossed in the storyline. The characters are likeable, and even though Rose is broken, I still see strength in her. I am giving a rating of 4 / 5 Stars.
This is one of the best series RH contemporary I have read. If you like a dark and damaged tale then this is the read for you. The characters are gritty, broken, flawed, and amazing. The plot offers just enough intrigue and action to keep everything moving along nicely. The evocative, gothic setting provides the perfect backdrop. This is the first I have read by this author but definitely won’t the the last. The writing is skilled and creative. I only hate that I let it languish on my TBR for too long. The steam factor is on point as well 🔥❤️
Book 1 released late 2018, books 2, 3, 4 released early 2019, this bookset released late 2019, I started Steps when it released, but I put Strokes, Strings & Sympathy on my TBR. When Finding their Muse bookset released, I decided enough waiting & read this dark contemporary series, boy, was this an exciting journey with twists & turns with Rose, Ivan, Anton & Erik!
However, I do have a question that is nagging me ever since I finished reading is, why on earth did Ms Hadley hire Rose?
This is one of the best reverse harem novel I have read.. everything about this book is perfect, the plot is absolutely interesting, the characters are very unique and the way their relationship molds with the darkness inside them is amazing...just loved it...surely gonna read other books from the author.
So many stories, in an attempt at realism toss a bit of sadness or pain into a story, like spicing pasta and calling it a full meal. This story is so flavored with loss and tragedy that the characters realness is a banquet for the heart and mind. It has triggers, know yourself. It also has such soul searing triumph and love
This series was simply amazing!! I enjoyed watching all the characters evolve into whole people and overcoming pasts hurts and slights. Love really can fix things and they prove this!! Definitely recommend this series!!
I am so pleased I got the complete series as it made moving from one book to the next so much easier and less waiting. I have loved seeing each character grow and transform throughout the series. Truly amazing and highly recommend.
Great series with complex characters who are flawed and have problems who get together and slowly help each other start to heal. The storyline is very well written and is full of emotion.
Totally gripping, Love how the author combines Ballet Art and Music in this book. Just when you think you know what is happening, there is a twist that you do not see coming. Absolute page turner
A dark, powerful, emotional, delicious, thrilling series, one not to be missed
These books are so incredible. I forgot to breathe, had tears in my eyes, gasped out loud, all things that I don't often do while reading. This series moved me like none other that I have ever read. The four main characters are all broken, their inner darkness consuming them, and they do not see any hope in their future of ever becoming whole again. Then the three men, Ivan, Anton and Erik find the one woman who could heal them, but can Rose herself ever be healed? Love and loss have dogged all of them, shaped them into the broken, drifting, emotionally battered people that they now are, surviving but not living. The men could love Rose unconditionally but she feels incapable of love, unworthy and unwilling to let anyone in. This is not just a story of past darkness and dangers, and present healing and love. There are twists and turns, with villainy at each corner. Nothing is as it seems, and every fresh revelation was completely unexpected. Mysteries, past and present, wrapped in an all-consuming love story. Compelling reading, from the first line of the first book to the last line of the fourth book. If you have ever wished for a series that you can become obsessed with, that will haunt your dreams, give you immense highs and desperate lows, worm its way into your heart and take up residence, this is it. Bea is a phenomenal writer and her work only goes from strength to strength. Over the course of the four books, the story and characters gripped me, body, mind, heart and soul. I felt every emotion, every breath, every heartbeat, as if they were my own. Rose, Ivan, Anton and Erik will stay with me for a long time.
This is the first series I read by this author and I fell in love with her writing. She has a way of capturing you and keeping you lost in the world of these books. They are full of twists and turns, heartache, Darkness, and most of all love. If you haven't read this story and I suggest you do it's one that you won't forget for a while to come. The author has a way about writing these characters that make you feel you've known them your whole life and also you can feel every emotion they feel. The main female character is amazing but how she is with each of the men in the story being that the three of them have given up hope on a better future than what they've been dealing with due to the Past troubles they've been through is captivating. Its definitely a series you dont want to miss out in. I can't wait to see what is in the future from Bea
Reread some months after my initial read and some things stick out. Without the focus on what comes next the melodramatic delivery really sticks out. It's really over the top. Second is a pet peeve of mine, the use of orbs in reference to eyes. Seriously, they're eyeballs and have irises not some otherworldly mystery floating in their head. Still a good story.
