The only thing this bunch would be interested in seeing stripping is a mummy. And only so that they could properly analyze it and date the corpse to the right Pharaonic era.
Not a fan of raisins, uh? … They’re the worst invention ever made Why would someone in their right mind take nice grapes and turn them into shriveled down dead droppings set free into the world to ruin all the best foods?

My favorite part about these characters... Archie is sexy as hell but a cuddly bear at heart. And Summer, it's weird to say this, but I loved her because she's flawed. She's committed the capital sin, and yet, I couldn't help loving her and wanting to finally bring a HEA for her. ...more
Summer and Archie meet during a one week Napa wedding, between wine tastings and rehearsal dinners they become fast friends.
Summer is her sister's bridesmaid and she really needs a friend because almost every guest hate her after her past mistake. Archie is the perfect companion to make her forget everything else but him.
I've really enjoyed their journey. They are nothing alike. Archie just stay in the present, never thinking about the future, unlike him Summer thinks a lot about the future an
You May Kiss the Bridesmaid was sweet and sizzling romcom that revolved around Summer and Archie’s love story. It was about forgiveness, moving on in life leaving the past mistakes behind, overcoming the commitment phobia, friendship, family, and love.
All characters were developed, realistic and fun to read. Romance between Summer and Archie was hot and steamy. I enjoyed their di ...more

Cute chick lit cover! Yes please! And written by Camilla Isley? You’re damn right I’m reading this one! I read A Sudden Crush a few years ago, and I loved it! So, I got super excited to read another one of her books.
WHAT I LIKED
Relatable and likable characters. Summer made a really selfish, horrible mistake in her past, and she has beat herself up about it ever since. Even though some people have forgiven her, others ha ...more
This though can easily be read as standalone, I've read the whole series and didn't know that much about Archie and Summer before reading this book, and certainly not as well as I do now.
What is clear though is that they have chemistry that is off the charts, and from their first meeting I was almost needing a fa ...more

This was really the perfect escapists romcom. It starts out as a pact for a wedding fling just for fun and hot nights and quickly feeling begin to develop, and family gets in the way, and friends, and the past, and I loved every single minute of it.
Summer Knowles messed up big. Some time ago, she believed herself in love with her best childhood friend’s boyfriend and slept with him. Ostracized by her friends and judged by her family, she had to keep living with the guilt.
To make matters worse, her twin sister Summer was having a one-week destination wedding, and she would have to face all her former friends, including the one she cheated. She was terrified by the prospec ...more
Summer is persona non grata at her own twin sisters Napa week long wedding, after 'the mistake' she has been ostracized by all her friends and even her own mother. But Summer is determined to plaster on a smile and bare through all the snide remarks in order to make her sisters dream wedding come true. All she has to so is fly under the radar and mind her own business and this week shoul ...more
Archie, the male character in this book, You May Kiss The Bridesmaid, by Camilla Isley, has caught my attention with his cheekiness, his beard, his bedside manner, his foot massages and his interest in yoga. I now can't stop replacing Summer Knowles, the female character, with myself in my head. This is an occupational hazard for romance book bloggers like myself. Crushes on fictional characters can take days to recover from.
Summer is dreading her twin sisters wedding. It means seeing people she hasn't seen for a long time after the disastrous mistake she made with her private life. All she wants to do is get through the next seven days without any confrontation to ruin her sisters expertly planned big day.

Camilla Isley really transports the reader into a glamorous world perfect to escape to for a few hours. I felt whisked away to Napa and fully indulged in the yoga, the food and the luxury hotel surroundings whilst reading.

Summer messed up big time and she is staying away from men for a while. Once her twin sister, Winter's wedding is over, and she can get away from the angry stares and hurtful remarks from the people she used to call friends, she can hopefully start to move on with her life. Who knew she would find a kindred spirit in the oh, so cocky and sexy best man, Archibald "Archie" Hill? He's the only thing that's k ...more

I absolutely loved finding out what happened to her twin sister, Summer. Well what happened is that she met Archie! The week before Winter's wedding is an ordeal for Summer who has to face a lot of her ex- friends after an ill-judged affair. All she wants to do is hide away but that never seems to be an option. Archie has personality in spades and a reputation which goes before him. What they can't deny is the sizzling chemistry wh ...more
Although I mention ‘series’ these books are written so they can be read as standalones, it definitely includes enough backstory to be informative to new readers whilst not overdoing it for those of us that have read them.

Summer is not exciting to be attending her twin sisters wedding. After "The mistake" years ago that resulted in everyone in the wedding party hate her. That's the consequence of having an affair with your best friends boyfriend. She would give anything not to go to the wedding. She needs a distraction. Even if that includes the charmer and bad boy Archie. One week of fun, no strings attached that will get them through this wedding. No problem, right?

I really started to like Summer despite The Mistake. She ultimately seemed like a good person who shouldn’t be judged only based on her worst mistake.
I also liked Archie, ever since the previous book, so I’m glad I got to know him better, too.

After making a huge mistake, Summer comes back, holding her head down. However an unexpected romance sparks between her and the groom’s best friend.

This is a sweet and mostly clean romantic comedy that takes place at a destination wedding in Napa. The unlikely couple who is the focus of the story is the best man and the bride's twin sister. It is a pretty tight group of friends, but this is the first time these two have met. It is a pretty crazy ride. It travels a very enjoyable road to a rather expected ending. It was a fun book to read. I received this ARC book for free from Story Origin and this is my honest review ...more
