Sweet and steamy! Camilla Isley has fast become a must-read author of mine. Her stories are packed with delightful characters, gorgeous settings, clever banter, and sizzling chemistry. ThisIs the sixth book in the”First Comes Love” series, but it can absolutely be enjoyed as a standalone. Although reading the fourth and fifth book will definitely get you in the mood for this book. Additionally both of those books were really good! We met Winter and Logan in the last book and now they are gettin ...more

A wedding, a handsome best man, a pact for seven nights of no-strings-attached fun... What could go wrong?

Available now wherever books are sold...

My favorite part about these characters... Archie is sexy as hell but a cuddly bear at heart. And Summer, it's weird to say this, but I loved her because she's flawed. She's committed the capital sin, and yet, I couldn't help loving her and wanting to finally bring a HEA for her.
Twins Summer and Winter Knowles used to be the closest of friends, until Summer made a mistake that estranged her from her family who don't seem able to forget or forgive her. Now Winter is getting married and Summer is expected to attend and be a bridesmaid, but Summer is dreading the condemning looks, nasty comments and being ostracised by her former friends. She understands why it will happen, but still dreads the entire experience though she knows she has to support her twin. What makes it w ...more

Summer and Archie meet during a one week Napa wedding, between wine tastings and rehearsal dinners they become fast friends.
Summer is her sister's bridesmaid and she really needs a friend because almost every guest hate her after her past mistake. Archie is the perfect companion to make her forget everything else but him.

I've really enjoyed their journey. They are nothing alike. Archie just stay in the present, never thinking about the future, unlike him Summer thinks a lot about the future an

You May Kiss the Bridesmaid was sweet and sizzling romcom that revolved around Summer and Archie’s love story. It was about forgiveness, moving on in life leaving the past mistakes behind, overcoming the commitment phobia, friendship, family, and love.

All characters were developed, realistic and fun to read. Romance between Summer and Archie was hot and steamy. I enjoyed their di

Where has this series been? How am I just now reading it? Fortunately it is one you don’t have to start at the beginning, but now I need to go back and read at least the two that are very directly related to this story, and probably I’ll need to go all the way back to the beginning of this series as well. I think that I’ve found a new author to fangirl over! This story was hilarious and such a page-turner!

Yes Archie was the usual commitment-phobe male love interest that you see so often in both

Cute chick lit cover! Yes please! And written by Camilla Isley? You’re damn right I’m reading this one! I read A Sudden Crush a few years ago, and I loved it! So, I got super excited to read another one of her books.

Relatable and likable characters. Summer made a really selfish, horrible mistake in her past, and she has beat herself up about it ever since. Even though some people have forgiven her, others ha

Having met Archie in the previous book and Summer has been referenced at least in the previous two books in the series, it is wonderful to finally have them staring in their own story.

This though can easily be read as standalone, I've read the whole series and didn't know that much about Archie and Summer before reading this book, and certainly not as well as I do now.

What is clear though is that they have chemistry that is off the charts, and from their first meeting I was almost needing a fa

So I was lucky enough to read From Thailand with Love earlier this year, and was excited when I discovered that You May Kiss The Bridesmaid was due to be released as the next in the series. As you know, I love a series where we get to revisit characters, but I also love learning more about characters we have only briefly met. In You May Kiss The Bridesmaid we get to finally meet Summer Knowles, twin sister of Winter. We already know that Winter and Summers relationship has been fragile, so she i ...more

Summer isn't exactly looking forward to her sister's wedding. Her past has made her a social pariah and to be fair she has a lot going on in her private life anyway. She has sworn off men for good, maybe for a while at least. Until she meets the best man that is, then all bets are off when it comes to having a good time.

Archie thinks the groom is the luckiest guy in the world to be marrying the girl of his dreams. He is even a tad jealous, so a little distraction during the wedding week is exact

Super cute end to the series! I loved it! Not sure if I liked it even more because it brought back so many characters from past books or if I just really loved the chemistry of Archie and Summer- but it was super cute!!

Want the next one!!!
Perfect destination wedding, check!
Handsome best man with a bad reputation, check!
Single bridesmaid in distress, check!

This was really the perfect escapists romcom. It starts out as a pact for a wedding fling just for fun and hot nights and quickly feeling begin to develop, and family gets in the way, and friends, and the past, and I loved every single minute of it.
Summer messed up big, but life is about to give her a second chance.

Summer Knowles messed up big. Some time ago, she believed herself in love with her best childhood friend’s boyfriend and slept with him. Ostracized by her friends and judged by her family, she had to keep living with the guilt.

To make matters worse, her twin sister Summer was having a one-week destination wedding, and she would have to face all her former friends, including the one she cheated. She was terrified by the prospec

“Happy for now is where happily ever afters are born. When todays turn into tomorrows and all days afterward.”

Summer is persona non grata at her own twin sisters Napa week long wedding, after 'the mistake' she has been ostracized by all her friends and even her own mother. But Summer is determined to plaster on a smile and bare through all the snide remarks in order to make her sisters dream wedding come true. All she has to so is fly under the radar and mind her own business and this week shoul

Ring the fictional romantic crush bell for me someone please!

Archie, the male character in this book, You May Kiss The Bridesmaid, by Camilla Isley, has caught my attention with his cheekiness, his beard, his bedside manner, his foot massages and his interest in yoga. I now can't stop replacing Summer Knowles, the female character, with myself in my head. This is an occupational hazard for romance book bloggers like myself. Crushes on fictional characters can take days to recover from.

This is a great fun and witty read that I could not put down.

Summer is dreading her twin sisters wedding. It means seeing people she hasn't seen for a long time after the disastrous mistake she made with her private life. All she wants to do is get through the next seven days without any confrontation to ruin her sisters expertly planned big day.

Archibald is looking forward to attending his best friends wedding and being his best man. He is single, attractive and interested in how many conquest

You may kiss the bride is the 6th book in a linked series (First Comes Love) however works really well as a stand alone.  I have read books 3-6 in which the same characters  make an appearance and the stories are connected.

Camilla Isley really transports the reader into a glamorous world perfect to escape to for a few hours.  I felt whisked away to Napa and fully indulged in the yoga, the food and the luxury hotel surroundings whilst reading.

After The Mistake, all she wants is marriage and a family. He is not the relationship type.

Summer messed up big time and she is staying away from men for a while. Once her twin sister, Winter's wedding is over, and she can get away from the angry stares and hurtful remarks from the people she used to call friends, she can hopefully start to move on with her life. Who knew she would find a kindred spirit in the oh, so cocky and sexy best man, Archibald "Archie" Hill?  He's the only thing that's k

There are some authors that I like going back to because I know what I’m getting, and I think it’s safe to say that Camilla Isley is now one of those authors. Every time I pick up one of her books I know I’m in for a really enjoyable romance with characters that I will end up loving.

Which was good because to be honest after her appearances in the last couple of books I wasn’t sure I would warm up to Summer at all, but the author has done a very good job of making her more than her mistake. I did

Having read Winter and Logan's story in From Thailand with love,
I absolutely loved finding out what happened to her twin sister, Summer. Well what happened is that she met Archie! The week before Winter's wedding is an ordeal for Summer who has to face a lot of her ex- friends after an ill-judged affair. All she wants to do is hide away but that never seems to be an option. Archie has personality in spades and a reputation which goes before him. What they can't deny is the sizzling chemistry wh

Having been a fan of this series and knowing of both Summer and Archie, I was so excited to finally read their story.
Although I mention ‘series’ these books are written so they can be read as standalones, it definitely includes enough backstory to be informative to new readers whilst not overdoing it for those of us that have read them.
Both characters seem to have met their match this time around, and the connection and chemistry between two is instant and to everyone else is TOTALLY not a goo

Camilla Isley can do no wrong.

Summer is not exciting to be attending her twin sisters wedding. After "The mistake" years ago that resulted in everyone in the wedding party hate her. That's the consequence of having an affair with your best friends boyfriend. She would give anything not to go to the wedding. She needs a distraction. Even if that includes the charmer and bad boy Archie. One week of fun, no strings attached that will get them through this wedding. No problem, right?

Oh my gosh, I absolutely LOVED this book! Like, insta-loved it. Right away, I was caught by the hilarious and easy banter between Summer and Archie. So many parts of this book made me laugh and blush and happy cry. Honestly, I loved it so much that I went and bought the boxed set of the first three books! Another perfect romantic comedy! Isley writes with such mastery that I am completely enthralled. So well written, this story of Summer and Archie has everything you could want in a romance. Plenty of steam, plenty of sweet and lots of laughs. Summer is preparing for her HEA - but not now as there is no one of the horizon but better to plan ahead. Archie is a confirmed playboy with no plans of marriage or kids but my favorite quote in the book) "Happy for now is where happily ever after's are bor ...more

I’m happy that Summer got her own book, twins often being a package deal (the previous book of the series was Winter’s story).

I really started to like Summer despite The Mistake. She ultimately seemed like a good person who shouldn’t be judged only based on her worst mistake.

I also liked Archie, ever since the previous book, so I’m glad I got to know him better, too.

All in all, I really enjoyed this book, just like the whole series. It was quick and easy read with a happy ending so it was a pe

You May kiss the bridesmaid is a cute, fast-paced story about a group of friends reuniting for a wedding. Well, most are friends except the bride’s twin sister, Summer.

After making a huge mistake, Summer comes back, holding her head down. However an unexpected romance sparks between her and the groom’s best friend.

I enjoyed this book. I found myself laughing, but also feeling sympathetic for Summer as she deals with the past. While this book is part of a series, it can also be read as a standalo

This is a love story with a lot of laughable parts and some steamy passages, but is also a story about friendship, bad decisions and its consequences, family relationships and finding out that appearances are not all that matters. There is also the perfect description of all the nerve racking happenings around a wedding and the things that go wrong or not.
A light reading which brings a lot of laughs to the readers. Most enjoyable!

Romantic Comedy In Napa
This is a sweet and mostly clean romantic comedy that takes place at a destination wedding in Napa. The unlikely couple who is the focus of the story is the best man and the bride's twin sister. It is a pretty tight group of friends, but this is the first time these two have met. It is a pretty crazy ride. It travels a very enjoyable road to a rather expected ending. It was a fun book to read. I received this ARC book for free from Story Origin and this is my honest review
