The best mixtape always has a mix of favorites on it— songs playing in the background at Jude and Derek’s wedding or when Simone finally falls in love. Loud beats pounding the dance floor when Blue tries to seduce Tristan in public, or sleepy notes written late at night while Jude is on tour. Strains of familiar music bring heart-gripping memories rushing back in—memories

4 sweet-after-HEA-Stars!! 😍🤩 This collection of stories was like the Marian Family Album.. a glimpse into all the couples' lives in the Marian family. It also had shorts with new characters; Ammon Marian and his brother Gideon got their HEAs. 💕 And last but not the least, we also got the backstory of Aunt Tilly and her senator 💔.
The stories are sentimental, lovey-dovey💝, funny and very very steamy 🔥🔥😉. Overall, this is a must read if you absolutely L❤️VED the Made Marian series and have read al

The more Marian the better...

Good little collection of Marian shorts. I adore this series with this family so it is always nice to see what they are up to and any chance to spend more time with the couples I take.
It was neat to see part of Tilly's story too. Still not sure I'm over her giving up her kid. That takes away from her whole vibe.
It was nice seeing Simone in love. She deserved it.
I also really really like Ammon's and Mark's story. I wish it could be expanded upon because there is more

Short tales that are sweet, loving, serious, funny and sexy...

A magnificent walk with the Marian’s ! More from our great characters in this series. I loved this so much. Mixed tape, refers to the list of songs you can play for certain tales. This is a fantastic read, we see Jude and Derek, Simone and Joel, Blue and Tristan, clubbing, Jude and Derek, with Jude’s loneliness on tour, Beau and Maverick, Dante and AJ, Teddy and Jaime stranded, Tilly and Harold’s secret, rescued by Mark, previously, A

I love reading about the Marian family. This book was made up of stories about some of the couple's in the family. This book started with with Derek and Jude the night before there wedding it was heartwarming and heartfelt Jude was worried that Derek would change his mind. Blue and Tristan decide to leave the kids at home for a weekend of staying in a hotel and going clubbing. This was funny Tristan didn't do the gay club scene so it's all new to him. They end up getting caught doing it in the s ...more

Made Marian Mixtape is a collection of stories set in the world of the Made Marian series. It would be best enjoyed by readers who are already familiar with those characters and the world of Marian. All of the Marian favorites are here in one book from Blue and Tristan’s night out on the town, to Simone’s wedding, to a longer story featuring Ammon, scenes with Teddy and Jamie, as well as a new face or two. Some of the stories are quick glimpse scenes and some are

OH MY GOD IM SO OBSESSED WITH THIS SERIES! Lucy can do no wrong in my eyes with this wonderful family, all the books, all the shorts, and all the extras were simply perfection. Ammon and Gideon’s stories were a great surprise, I absolutely loved them! Also, Teddy and Jamie... omg! And don’t even get me started on Tilly!
Loved it!

I loved this collection. It was a divine pleasure to re-visit the Marion clan. Such an amazing family that is all about love. In this collection we catch up with the Marian siblings. We meet new characters and we get an in depth look at Ammon Marian whom so many have begged for his story. Of course a Marian reunion would be incomplete without Granny, Irene and Aunt stilly. Buckle your seatbelts and join the ride that is the Marian family. The shenanigans will bring you to tears with laughter!

A collection of snippets and short stories revolving around the men (and women) of the Marian clan.
I especially loved Ammon and Mark and wanted 100+ more pages of them!! That said, their story was one of the longer ones in this collection and it was fantastic. Other "shorts" are more like deleted or bonus scenes. I felt like Gideon and Hunter may need a re-visit, that their story is not quite over yet...
that is all I am saying on this matter to avoid spoilers.

Perfect for Marian Fans

Although each little ‘song’ is self-contained and enjoyable, this book is best enjoyed by those who have a passing acquaintance with the Made Marian world. If you’ve read all the big books, you’re in a great position to truly enjoy this. If you happen to have read all the smaller stories as well, you’ll be likely to fall even more in love. Heck, you might be inspired to go back and re-read the whole series. I know I was tempted. So many books, so little time. (Quick note –

4 Star collection of shorts

These shorts range from a single short scene to a novella, featuring familiar Marians as well as two new additions to the family, Ammon and Gideon.
This collection also features stories for Simone and Tilly, so we get new info about familiar characters. It’s easy to skip any stories that don’t interest you.
I’m a sucker for a short follow-up of familiar characters, so I’m predisposed to like these- Jude’s Lullaby and Ammon’s story were my favorites.

3.5 stars for the entire collection. Four stars for Ammon and Mark's story, although I missed the resolution of the trial. The other stories were a bit fragmented and Tilly's story had so much in it that it became a resume of things that happened without a resolution surrounding her daughter. Overall it was lovely to see the Marians again. ...more

I loved jumping back into the crazy that is the Marion family.
Ammon's and Mark's story was a stand out! So sad but so beautiful too.
There is so much love and fun in this family.
As always, there is plenty of laughter and sexy times but overall so much love and happiness.
Highly recommend.

I would like to quote Mary Poppins: “Practically Perfect” because honestly this is. If you are a Made Marian fan, you will be blown away with delight over this collection of stories.
It gave me all the feels… So incredibly good to connect with this family again and their amazing characters.
That being said, I am struggling to get a decent review up because tbh I don’t want to go into specifics. As these are all short stories centering on the men and family members of the Marian family I don’t want

Fun collection of stories and more info on these well loved characters

4.5 stars...So this was a fun collection of stories to read but three definitely stood out.

First, I loved the story of Simone and Joel’s wedding day. After Borrowing Blue I had a soft spot for Simone and always wondered why we never got more info on her. Then there were references to her and Joel in later books but no details. So it was nice to get that story finally.

Second, my favorite story was the story of Ammon and Mark.

Wonderful collection. Fun, sexy, sweet.

The Made Marian series is a favorite of mine, and I enjoyed every single one of these stories that go along with the series.
It would be impossible to pick just one although I think Ammon’s leads the way for me. They all had characters I love or loved getting to know in the case of ones I didn’t know as well yet, and wonderful glimpses into their lives
I really only read short stories, etc when they go with series/ characters I already love as I much prefe

A collection of Marian family shorts

3 stars!

I really enjoy the comedy element to the Made Marian series but I find that this collection fell mostly in the serious or seriously sexy category.

I will say that Blue and Tristan ( Borrowing Blue) are my favorite couple and I found their short in this collection to be my favorite. The comedy is still there for this couple. I appreciated the insight into Aunt Tilly and I hope for a bit more from her story.

As for some of the other shorts I found them t

I enjoy visiting with characters that I loved in their own books, but I don't necessarily need a whole other book for them. Once the HEA is there, I don't really like disrupting it, so this book of short stories and vignettes is perfect.
For example, I would probably balk at reading a whole book about Aunt Tilly. She's awesome, don't get me wrong, and I'd probably eat my words if Lucy'd done another book like Wilde Love, but in Made Marian Mixtape she's got Tilly and Howard's story covered just

With this short story collection Lucy reminds us that the characters from the Made Marian series stories hadn't ended with their happily ever after. Life is still going for them, that things can still be complicated, messy and beautiful. We get to see their growth as couples and families.

Second favourite was the stories about Tily and her hunky Harold. I love that even though this series is about the gay and bi men in the Marian families, Lucy takes some time to include lovely endings for all ou

More Marian’s! ❤️

Made Marian Mixtape couldn’t have come out at a better time for me. I just finished another read of the Made Marian series, this time on audio, so I was more than ready to catch up with all things Marian. No surprise here - but I loved it! Catching up where it all started with Blue and Tristan, Jude and Derek, and Simone’s well-deserved HEA. Plus Mav and learning more about Ammon. Speaking of Ammon!! Holy freaking hotness there!! Most of the stories in this anthology of shorts rate at about a 3.5 to 4 stars for me. Some are super short and some decent. An alternate wedding was written for a pair that had eloped in the original series. There are a lot of warm Marian moments and I liked learning more about Aunt Tilly's relationship with the politician.

The story that brought this book up to a 5 star listen was Ammon's story. He was young when he was introduced to the Marian family and I hadn't thought much about him, espec

Marian Made Happy!

This told a few more of the stories, these are short love stories of what happened to Marian family and friends. I did not review every book because they were all so amazing! The way Lucy told not 1 or 2 B/L stories but many and with meaning by having the Marian Family run a shelter for homeless teenagers of the LGBTQ community. They had men who extracted kids from terrible situations such as Gay Conversion Therapy. I really enjoyed reading every book and story from the Marian

This collection of short stories is just everything if you loved the Marians half as much as I did.
The stories vary in length from just a few pages, maybe a glimpse in the life of one of the established couples, to a couple of complete stories (Ammon, the latest addition to the Marian family, gets his own complete novelette).
It's not exclusively MM, we also get Simon's wedding and we dive into the real background of the one and only Aunt Tilly.

This is the PERFECT compilation of Marian stories!

Wow. I didn't know I needed this book in my life until I started reading. I didn't want it to end! The thing I really loved about this compilation was that, not only did Lucy bring us the stories of well established couples, she gave us new stories with new characters as well. I really loved the behind the scenes feel that these stories gave me. And of course I can't forget Aunt Tilly! It was refreshing to get a story from Simone and Tilly's poi

Yeah, these were pretty cute, and even though I have mixed feelings about this series, it was nice to see all of the couples again in these little shorts except where are Noah and Luke?? I know what you're saying, they're not Marians, but to that I say, they were in the main series dammit they got their own book!! That counts for something!! And they were my favorite! And we don't even get to see them?? COME ON!!! Apart from that, I have to say I enjoyed Ammon and Gideon's stories the most, so m ...more

This book was awsome to read and catch up with all the Marians. Jude and Derek, Jamie and Teddy agreeing to settle down and starting a family, Griffin and Sam getting dirty in an elevator, Simone's wedding to Joel, Beau and Mav and much more. The best however was to get an inside into Tilly's past and how she became to know her Senator, ending in an HEA. It is nice to cath up with this family, now bound to the Wildes and see how they are getting on in their lives. They are a crazy bunch but have ...more

Another great Lucy Lennox book

This book was so very good. It had so many stories in it. Each one was well written and fully developed. It gives the reader a good look into the lives of the Marion clan that we had been reading about. I particularly liked both Tilly's story and Amon's storylines. It was good to know more about their backgrounds. Also it explains alot about how Tilly is the way she is. LOL which is fabulous. I very much want to be just like Aunt Tilly when I get to be her age.

Fun, quick reads for Marian lovers.

All chapters are written in first person POV and most of the short stories contain multiple chapters with dual first person POV. Some stories contain sexy times but not all. There’s a little humor in each. This is not a standalone - some stories are updates from the Marian family that already had books and a couple others are from newer characters (Ammon has his own longer story and we finally get the full Tilly baby story). The timelines are a little wonky bu

The stories off a mix of drama, emotion, humor, steam and sweet romance. It is well written, interesting and entertaining. The characters are amazing and loveable - they are characters you wish you could know in real life because they are just amazing.
