I received an electronic ARC from HMH Books for Young Readers through Edelweiss+.
Charming story of a new beret that blows away in the wind. The book takes readers through the many places the hat travels from people to animals to being buried in snow until the circle is complete and the beret returns to the child. Brightly colored illustrations will appeal to young readers who will also be able to feel the textures on each page.

Sweet tale of the escapades of a little red beret on a windy day, and a fun introduction to the French language and culture with bright and cheerful illustrations. Could also be used In the classroom to inspire creative use of rhyme!
