Fans of the Nashville Fury come to me for all things regarding their favorite professional football team. Stats, rumors and even what the players like on their pizza. What they don’t turn to me for is information about how their offensive coordinator is in the bedroom.
The answer? It’s too hot for print.
My name is Sadie Benson and I committed the cardinal sin of being a f

Five stars are not enough for this sweet and sexy romance! A sports writer and a football coach who should not be together?? YUM!!

Off the Record is the story of Hunter and Sadie and I have to tell you, this story checked all the boxes for me!! Fun, sexy, and a couple that you will fall head over heels in love with? Yes, please! The sparks fly between Sadie and Hunter, who are each amazing characters on their own but together, they are what romance is made of!

I am hooked on the Nashville Fury an

This is my first book by Ms. Sloan and it for sure will not be my last! Football, a girl who knows her sports, and romance. What more can I ask for in a book? The answer is nothing! Sadie and Hunter have it all and are everything!! I’m hooked and I can’t wait to go read more books by this new to me author! And I can’t wait for more Nashville Fury!

I cannot believe this is only Chelle Sloan’s second book. I loved her first, Reformation, it was great. This book, this book was fantastic. First I live for a football romance. Not only is this a football romance but it has incredible characters that I absolutely adored.

And while yes this is a sports romance, a football one at that, there was not just another sports romance. This book was unique in a lot of ways but the whole young coach/ sports reporter thing is not really a combo we see a lot

A reporter and a coach walk in to a coffee bar....

“I know we shouldn’t be doing this. But if I don’t kiss you right now, it will be the biggest regret of my life.”

Nothing like getting lost in the world of Chelle. I loved her debut novel and I loved this one. This was so fun and had alot of laugh out loud moments, don't worry definitely some steam mixed in. Go check this one out when you are in the mood for some fun!

I won/received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntarily, honest review of it.

From the first moment that I saw this book, I was interested about. First, by the cover but what really sparked my interest was the blurb! A female reporter who has a secret relationship with a hot football coach, now that I had to read. Luckily for me, I won an ARC copy of this book ‘Off the record’ and I’m so happy that I did because I LOVED it!!

I was a bit nervous when I started reading it because my expectati

What an absolutely fresh take on sports romance! Be prepared to swoon over young and sexy NFL coach Hunter McAvoy and laugh and cheer for feisty sports reporter Sadie Benson. I loved the forbidden love affair aspect, never would I expect a coach and a reporter to fit and fall in love so perfectly!

“If I keep kissing her, she can’t change her mind. I’ll just have to never stop kissing her. “

Sadie is a successful, take football by the balls sports reporter, working her way towards her dream job. Be

4 Stars!

Chelle Sloan is a brand new author for me and what she delivered in her new release was really, really good y'all. She took sports romance and gave it such a fresh spin with the storyline. I devoured this beauty in just a couple of hours and I regret absolutely nothing.

Off the Record was a sexy, sweet, fun, unputdownable, standalone romance with two characters I hit it off with immediately and one love story I couldn't get enough of. Hunter and Sadie were so refreshing, her a sports repo

I loved this book! Chelle really brought the characters to life and had a very well developed plot line. I fell in love with Sadie and Hunter from the start. Some ups and downs, twists and turns all leasing to an HEA. Can't wait to see what she comes out with next! ...more

Loved Every Minute Of It!

This story has a unique storyline yet is very relevant to today's world.

Sadie is a sports journalist. She's great a what she does but because it's a man's world, she will always have those that criticizes her and doubts her. As Sadie states, "Another day, another idiot I had to prove myself to."

Enter Hunter, Nashville Fury's new offensive coordinator. Also Sadie's love interest. Both risk a lot by having a relationship with the other. Their relationship is unconventiona

This is an honest review for an arc received.

“Maybe I like throwing you off your game.”

Sadie Benson is a sports reporter that covers the Nashville Fury. She’s happy with her position and loves the fact that she’s known for her fast reporting of breaking news stories before her male counterparts. When she finds out the new Offensive Coordinator is about to be named, she runs with her story. She is instantly affected by Hunter McAvoy and this could be trouble.

So first off I want to begin with I was so excited when I saw that one of my favorite TikTokers was putting out a book. I knew immediately that I wanted to read it, I really didn't even care what the book was about! Let me tell you something this book did not disappoint. This story just flowed so unbelievably well and I couldn't put it down.
Sadie is a sports writer and a damn good one at that. Most men are intimidated by her because she can talk football as good as she can write about football.

This sophomore novel from Chelle Sloan is a fantastic introduction to a new series.  Based on the fictional Nashville Fury football team, we are introduced to a new charismatic cast of characters.

Off The Record is the story of Hunter and Sadie and what a fabulous story it is!

Sadie is a woman sportswriter fighting against the male-dominated career in which she thrives and rocks it like a bad b*tch that she is! When she happens upon a "stranger" in the sandwich shop, she knows she is about to get

This was an alright sports romance. It was quick paced and an easy read, and I did like that the main male character was a coach instead of the quarterback like I thought he would be. I felt like this lacked a bit of depth though and some parts seemed more suited to a teen romance than adults.

The main female character is Sadie, a fantastic sports writer who is underestimated by her male coworkers. She has to work harder than them to be taken seriously and is constantly being accused of sleeping

What a great story with a different take on a sports romance.  Normally it's all about the players, but this time we get a coach and a sports reporter.  And I couldn't love this dynamic more.  With this you get a secret relationship, characters that are strong and successful in their professions, and passion both on and off the field.  From the beginning they know the relationship would be frowned upon and that it won't be easy.  I think that's one reason I like this story so much.  They have to ...more

Sadie and Hunter give us such a sweet story! It's romantic and Hunter is so so swoony with his actions and words. If you are on the hunt for sweet light read with a little steam along with some football this is the book for you.

Sadie and Hunter have an instant connection from their very first encounter. It's a forbidden relationship when it comes to their profession and how it will look to others. Sadie is a sports journalist who covers the Nashville Fury which is the team Hunter is a new coach

Once again, Chelle Sloan creates a world that you immediately are taken with. I was hysterically laughing by the second page.

This journey takes you to a place of forbidden love, secrets, hot sexy times, an even hotter football coach, and a heroine that is genuine and a great example of a strong woman finding her way in a male dominated world.

There is conflict. There is angst. Chelle wraps you in all the emotions bringing you to a real sense of how these two people struggle and face the reality

Coach Hunter McAvoy calling the plays. He can coach me anytime.
He is smooth, sexy and he is here to call the shots. New to Nashville he gets himself rattled by Reporter Sadie Benson. Hold on this is all Off the Record ... there is some steam ahead with these two! No-one loves the appeal of a forbidden romance more than me and this is serving it up on a platter. You get to know these two characters really deeply. I have myself a true hard core crush for Sadie she's a chic killing it in a

I freely admit that I bought this book because I enjoy Chelle Sloan on TikTok. Her #thirsttrap duets crack me up. When I saw the promotions for this book, I knew I should try.

Holy. Hell. Totally worth it.

I've read mostly romance books during this time of COVID isolation/hibernation. Reading books that make me feel good has helped a lot. This book checks all of the boxes for what I love about romance novels: smart characters with realistic jobs, humor, genuine dialogue, excellent writing that is

Sport romance aren’t usually my thing but after sometimes I like to try and branch out. I’m so glad I did. Fun, witty sparring was a welcome distraction from the seriousness of going on in my life. You’ll fall in love with Sadie. A sharp sport reported clawing her way to the top of the ladder while remaining professional. When Hunter shows up in a sandwich shops, who knew the scoop would become so much more. A love story with angst but super sweet moments of finding each other and the pull being ...more

This was the first book I've read by this author and it did not disappoint. It also won't be the last that I check out! I'm a huge fan of sports romances especially when football is involved. This book drew me in immediately and held my attention to the point I hated when I had to put it down, even just for a minute.

Sadie is a female sports reporter and Hunter is the ex-football player hired to be a coach for the Nashville Fury. Needless to say, a relationship between the two is forbidden based

Really enjoyed this sporty romance!

It’s not often you find a woman who knows her way around a sport like Sadie does, but she grew up watching football with her dad and developed a love for writing about it. She has plans to move beyond the Nashville Fury and write nationally. But then she meets the new offensive coordinator, Hunter. The sparks not only fly, but catch fire and burn HOT! Reporters and coaches can’t really fraternize like that, right?!

Really enjoyed how this story went back and f

Off the Record is a fresh take on sports romance! When Sadie, a sports reporter who covers the Nashville Fury, meets Hunter, their new offensive coordinator, sparks fly. However, if they date, people will think he's giving her inside information for her breaking news stories -- and she's already ahead of the game on that front. Their connection is irresistable and they end up having their taboo relationship in secret while they figure out if they can make it work.

What can I say.....

Normally I am not a sports romance type of reader. Yes I love sports and yes I love reading gushy happy stuff. But normally I'd like a little edge to what read. With that being said this story was fantastic. I couldn't put it down once I started it. Chelle takes the story to places I wouldn't normally associate with sporty style stories. I think the thing I love most is how she entertwined the forbidden aspect into the sport aspect. She made the 2 things blend flawlessly. I am

What a great second book for this author. Reading this you will have hard time telling that she hasn’t been writing romance for years. Her character development and world building are on point.

You will be rooting for Hunter and Sadie from the get go. A forbidden romance with characters that you will fall in love with. Hunter is the young coach of the Nashville Fury and Sadie is a young, feisty take no prisoners sports reporter. Their chemistry was off the charts. I loved that they worked for the

Off the Record by Chelle Sloan was so much fun to read. Hunter and Sadie were great together. A forbidden romance full of steamy chemistry and sparks flying everywhere. Sadie is a sports reporter who worked very hard to be where she is in her career. She wants to be taken seriously. So, the very last thing she needs is to fall for the hot and charming new coach, Hunter. But the connection is there and is undeniable. I truly loved reading Hunter and Sadie’s story. This is my first Chelle Sloan book and won’t be my last.
Yes, this is a sports romance, but it's a new and refreshing kind of sports romance that I have not seen yet. It’s a female sports reporter and a football coach. You will fall for Hunter and love the sassy Sadie. The story of these two is so sweet, but also has hot steamy moments. It definitely is not an easy love story, it has its ups and downs, but Chelle, nailed Hunter and Sadie’s story.
I hope if you have any interest in this book, you

I'm not a sports fan by any means, but after finding Chelle on TT, I KNEW I had to give this a go.
The plot is great. Smooth flowing, no gaps left unfilled and it even got a tear or 2 out of me. That, to me, is perfection.
Hunter and Sadie are wonderful. Their relationship, as frowned upon as it is, is completely believable because it's not all sugar and rainbows, you know? They have their issues and their triumphs, and with every "OH NO!" moment, you find yourself hoping they make it.

Holy crap I loved this book. I loved the fact that football was involved, aside from the fact that a couple SEC teams were mentioned, but not my Big 12 team. It was just an easy storyline to fall in line with, making it hard to put down. I loved how Sadie and Hunter were a great team and didn’t mix their business with pleasure. The way they were able to focus on each other and not always looking for the next story, which is what Sadie’s job entails. This was my second book from this author and I ...more

Where can I find myself a Hunter?
This is the first time I read something from this author and let me tell you I wasn’t disappointed. I want more!!! The chemistry between Hunter and Sadie is undeniable. I couldn’t put the book down and I didn’t want it to end. Hunter and Sadie are two people who are prepared to fight for what they love and are willing to work through their challenges together.
The NFL coach meets the care free reporter who knocks him off his feet from the first time they meet.
